Tortured, Beaten and Brainwashed: Ms. Li Yunming from Guizhou Province

(Chinese version of Clearwisdom.net). Two years ago, Ms. Li Yunming from Guizhou Province went to Hechuan City,
Chongqing to visit relatives on the afternoon of August 5. Along the way, she
talked to some farmers in Division 5, Laitan Town, Hechuan City, about the
persecution of Falun Gong. Xie Liju, You Cai and some other officers from Laitan
Police Station arrested Li Yunming and took her to the police station. They
transferred her to Hechuan City Detention Center at midnight and later secretly
sent her to Chongqing Women's Forced Labor Camp to be held for two years. At the forced labor camp, division heads Ms. Chen Lan, Hu Da, Zhu, Chen Da,
and Ms. Zhao Yuanyuan, tortured Li Yunming and forced her to attend brainwashing
sessions. Li refused to cooperate with them, and they ordered 16 drug addicts
including Ms. Peng Qilan and Ms. Yang Xiuwei to beat and torture Li Yunming
around the clock. The abuse lasted three months. During this period, they also forced Li to do slave labor until midnight each
day. As a result of mistreatment and excessive workload, she became emaciated,
bedridden and incontinent. Despite her condition, the authorities force-fed her
food mixed with drugs. When they saw she was indeed on the verge of death, they
hurriedly told her family that they had released her on medical parole, and
officials from the Political and Judiciary Committee took her to a nursing home.
It was not after some more time and her condition had further deteriorated that
her family was allowed to take her home. |
