Finland: Local Activity Supports the 41 Million Chinese that have Renounced Membership in the CCP (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) On September 13, 2008, the Northern European Service Centre for Quitting the CCP (Chinese Communist Party), with Falun Gong practitioners in Finland, held an activity near the Helsinki train station to support the 42 million people who have withdrawn from the CCP and to further expose the CCP's atrocities during nine years of brutal persecution of Falun Gong.

There was a display depicting the bloody history of the CCP's repression of Chinese people during its over forty years in power, from the Cultural Revolution to the Tiananmen Square Massacre, as well as the persecution of Falun Gong. Many people stopped to look at the photos and read the captions discussing the CCP's crimes. After learning the facts, many signed a petition to support Falun Gong.

Even though many people were in a hurry, their actions and words showed their righteous, kind and rational thoughts.

Mr. Lonngren, riding by on a bicycle, came to the table to sign. He then said to a practitioner Anija, "The Communist Party is all bad."

A woman circled the stand for a long time and finally said to Anija that one of her relatives is a CCP official. So she dared not sign. But she took a leaflet about the persecution of Falun Gong and the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party newspaper in English.

Armine from Armenia signed the petition. She asked, "Are there many clear headed people like you in China?" The practitioner said that it is still difficult for people in mainland China to learn the truth due to prolonged brainwashing, tyranny and media censorship by the CCP. But 42 million people quitting the CCP shows that more and more have learned the truth. Ms. Armine said, "It is time for the Chinese people to awaken."

The practitioner pointed to an overseas Chinese student, Sangzi, and said to Ms. Armine that her parents are both detained in jails in Wuhan City for practicing Falun Gong. After returning to China in 2002, another Chinese student by the name of Qi Like was arrested by police in 2006 and later sentenced to three years in prison for not giving up Falun Gong. Jin Shaoyu came to visit relatives in Finland; the day after she arrived in Finland, her mother Chen Zhenping was taken from her home in Zhenzhou City by police because she practices Falun Gong. Ms. Armine said, "The brutality is beyond imagination."

A doctor of natural healing from India, Dr. Shashikant, was pleased to accept the leaflets and the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party. He signed the petition and asked two practitioners to have their pictures taken with him. As he left, he waved goodbye, "Good luck! God bless you!"
