Former High School Teacher Ms. Mu Yongxia Arrested Again by Daqing Police (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) Late in the evening of July 9, 2008, the Longgang Public Security Bureau in Daqing, Heilongjiang Province sent more than 10 policemen in police vans to surround the residence of 60-year-old Mu Yongxia. With the assistance of a locksmith, they forced their way into her home and took her away. It was said that Mu Yongxia shouted out twice "Falun Dafa is good," and then there was no sound from her. The police possibly covered her mouth to conceal their shameful behavior.

 

Then they ransacked her home, took her notebook computer, color printer, Dafa books and some other materials. All things in the house including chests and wardrobes were turned upside down, and their contents were scattered about.

The police had been harassing and following Mu Yongxia's son to find out her whereabouts before they arrested her. Mu Yongxia is still being held at Daqing Detention Center. Because there is no way for her to redress the injustice, she could only call out "Falun Dafa is good" every day. Her son tried to visit her, but the detention center refused to let him meet with her.

Between the end of June and beginning of July 2008, before the "Olympic flame" arrived in Daqing, the 610 Office in Daqing and some other CCP officials planned and instigated the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners. In order to incite hatred toward Falun Gong, they slandered Falun Gong by telling people that Falun Gong practitioners were going to disrupt the "Olympic Torch Relay." They ordered everyone not to listen to, read, or spread Falun Gong materials. They transmitted persecution documents from the top to the lower levels and advised the police to make Falun Gong practitioners a priority over criminals like murderers. They forced the police in all districts and counties to monitor, harass and arrest Falun Gong practitioners and to search their homes. They even used locksmiths to break into practitioners' homes and to arrest them. As of today there have been more than 40 Falun Gong practitioners arrested "because of the Olympic Games." Some of them have been released, while some are still being detained, facing "re-education" through labor, or other types of prison sentences. Their families are terribly worried about them.
