Practitioner in China: What to Do When Challenged With the Question, "Are you Falun Gong?"
(Clearwisdom.net) In the course of clarifying the truth,
advising people to quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its related
organizations and saving sentient beings, we often run into people who suddenly
challenge us with the question, "Are you Falun Gong?" when we are at
the most critical point. How do we handle such a situation? Will we keep
righteous thoughts, eliminate the evil factors behind them and cleanse the field
so that they will understand the truth and be saved? Or will we become fearful
and stop clarifying the truth? This is a serious test for a Dafa practitioner in
the last stage of Fa-rectification period. I would like to share three stories here which can serve as a reference for
practitioners. Story One: One evening, a practitioner encountered two girls who were enjoying the cool
air outside. The practitioner had a chat with them. The girls had just graduated
from college and were hunting for jobs. The practitioner gave them some
information and advised them to quit the CCP. One girl then asked her in
surprise, "Are you a Falun Gong practitioner?" The practitioner knew
that the young girls had been deceived by the CCP's propaganda, and had been
poisoned by the CCP's lies. She had to eliminate the evil factors in their minds
before she could save them. So she said to them, "You probably don't know
much about Falun Gong. Falun Gong is not as you have heard from the newspapers.
It is a very good and righteous way. It teaches people to be good, and then to
be even better. Aren't Truthfulness- Compassion-Forbearance good? They are
definitely good. Then, as the CCP opposes Truthfulness- Compassion-Forbearance,
can the CCP be good?" Then one girl asked, "What about the Tiananmen
self-immolation?" The practitioner told them how the CCP had fabricated the
self-immolation incident and why it's important to quit the CCP. The two girls
understood and immediately agreed to quit the CCP and its related organizations. Story Two: A practitioner met two middle-aged blue-collar workers. When he explained the
truth to them, they asked him, "You must be a Falun Gong
practitioner!" The practitioner wasn't scared and kindly told them,
"It doesn't matter whether I practice Falun Gong or not. What I told you is
for your own benefit, isn't it?" The two workers smiled, "Yes, we know
you care about us. In our hometown, many people practiced Falun Gong. On July
20, 1999, many of them rode bicycles to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong. They
also handed us flyers. What they told us was pretty much the same as what you
have said." The practitioner asked them, "Have you quit the CCP
yet?" They said no. The practitioner said, "You really should quit
now. It's a predestined relationship that we have run into each other today. If
you don't quit, you will miss this predestined relationship. I truly care about
you. If you quit, you will choose a bright future for yourself." The
workers nodded with a smile, "We agree to quit the CCP!" Story Three: At a noisy outdoor dance party in the evening, there was a practitioner who
sat on the side and met a lady in her sixties who dressed in fashionable
clothing. The practitioner clarified the truth and advised her to quit the CCP.
She smiled and said, "You must be a Falun Gong practitioner. Someone told
me before that Falun Gong practitioners don't dance. I know you don't
participate in such activities, am I right?" The practitioner answered,
"No. Falun Gong practitioners don't participate bad activities, however, we
do participate in activities that are beneficial to health." Then the
practitioner invited the lady to dance and cleared up her misunderstanding about
Falun Gong. She then quit the CCP and its related organizations. August 17, 2008 |
