I Became a Practitioner After Witnessing the Power of Dafa

(Clearwisdom.net) I live in a suburb of Chongqing City. Earlier this year, I felt uncomfortable and my head was constantly humming as if a train was passing by all the time. It was very painful so I went to a local hospital and they told me that I had an insufficient blood supply to my brain, as well as high blood pressure. Taking medication did not improve it but made it worse. Later my left eyelid dropped and covered my eye. As a result, I was unable to open my left eye.

I went for an examination at the Chongqing City Medical University. The examination itself cost me more than 10,000 yuan. The conclusion was that I had Carotid-Cavernous Fistula. As a result, I could not open my left eye. The doctor recommended that I have surgery. We were asked to pay 200,000 yuan in advance for the expenses.

How could a family with a regular income afford this? I asked around to borrow money from my friends and relatives. In the end, we were able to collect enough money to pay for the expenses. The hospital prepared for the surgery and obtained signatures from family members. However, on the following day, when we were ready for the surgery, the required plastic rings could not be found. After searching on the Internet it showed that only Xuanwu Hospital in Beijing had these plastic rings. The professor and doctor told my family that if they used metal rings instead of the plastic rings, it would cost about 10,000 yuan apiece, or about 700,000 yuan altogether. Also, the risk was much higher and it could very likely cause paralysis or aphasia. The surgery involved opening up the head and brain, which could easily lead to death. They recommended that I have the surgery at the Xuanwu Hospital in Beijing instead.

During that period of time, my mother and elder sister, who were both Falun Dafa practitioners, came to visit and they told me about the practice. They suggested that I often recite "Falun Dafa is good" as well as "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good." I believed it and agreed to quit the Chinese Communist Party. However, I was thinking about my illness all the time, and I did not improve. During my hospitalization, three days prior to the surgery, my mother and sister called me again. They asked me to stop thinking about the illness all the time, otherwise Teacher could not help me. I understood, and let go of those thoughts. Every day I sincerely recitied "Falun Dafa is good" as well as "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good." Because the doctors could not find the plastic rings, they were unable to perform the surgery, and as a result, I went home.

After going back home, with my mother's help, I started to practice Falun Gong. After doing the exercises and studying the Fa for a while, the illness improved some. One day, my eyes were painful and I went to the hospital. However, injecting medication made it even more painful. I suddenly realized that Teacher was helping me purify my body and was eliminating karma, and it was something I should endure. Only after going through the process could my illness be cured. I knelt down in front of Teacher's picture and asked him to forgive me. I believe in Teacher and will definitely follow him.

One day before going to sleep, I was recited "Falun Dafa is good" as well as "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good." A tiny thing was digging into my left eye like a little red dragonfly. I immediately realized that Teacher was helping me to adjust my eye. Gradually I was able to open my eye a bit. Later my husband mailed my medical records to Beijing, asking about medical treatment there, but I refused to go.

After practicing for more than two months, I was able to open my left eye. The humming sound in my head also became weaker and things were basically back to normal.

I am very happy to tell my friends and relatives that Falun Dafa and Teacher saved me. If you believe that "Falun Dafa is good" and " Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good," you will have a good future. Many of my relatives and friends have begun to read the book Zhuan Falun.

I share my experience here, hoping more people will come to know the wonderfulness of Falun Dafa. Please do not believe the defaming propaganda from the CCP, and instead quit the Party and its affiliated organizations. Please be kind to Falun Dafa and its practitioners.
