Completely Negate the Old Force Arrangements

(Clearwisdom.net) When I was sending righteous thoughts last night, a thought came to me: The cancellation of NTDTV's broadcasts to China was arranged by the old forces; it is interference we cannot allow for a minute and must be negated completely.

In the past few years of cultivation, my personal understanding has been that, no matter how complicated things may be on the surface, once you enlighten to the fact that they are old force arrangements and inference, and you are determined to follow Teacher's arrangements only, then a lot of things that appear to be difficult can be easily resolved when our righteous thoughts emerge.

My problem is that I often do not realize that some minor events or things that I believe to be natural are also interference arranged by the old forces. Especially when I could not distinguish personal cultivation from Fa-rectification, or when I fell into the so-called "personal cultivation" state because I did not urgently save sentient beings, the old forces would interfere at those times. Sometimes it is very hard to get rid of the interference.

For a while, I slept a lot. I always felt awful and regretted it when I woke up. But I didn't have the determination to change. I tried to study the Fa and memorize the Fa a lot, but the situation did not improve much. I kept looking inward and when I seemed to have understood something, the situation improved only for couple of days. I was saddened: How could a cultivator have such weak determination?

A few days ago, I participated in an experience sharing in Jiantan in northern Taiwan. I listened to sharing from several practitioners who had only been practicing Falun Dafa for a few months. I suddenly remembered that the thought of saving sentient beings I had previously had been so strong that was it was irresistible. All the so-called karma must yield to saving sentient beings; even if it was test of xinxing, I wanted to pass it quickly, instead of wasting time in tribulations. I then realized that my issue with sleep was also old force interference and must be negated completely. Once I had that thought, the sleepiness that had troubled me for a long time and that I had failed to get rid of disappeared immediately.

Teacher said in Zhuan Falun:

"These are all your own tribulations that we use to improve your xinxing, and you will be able to overcome them. As long as you upgrade your xinxing, you can overcome them. Unless you, yourself do not want to do so, you can make it, provided you want to overcome them"

and

"Particularly for a practitioner, in the course of cultivation practice you are given some tribulations at each different level. They all come from your own karma and are your own tribulations, which are placed at different levels for you to upgrade yourself. As long as you improve your xinxing, you will be able to overcome them."

I enlightened that when encountering any conflict, if one can search inward and realize it is a test arranged by Teacher, and as long as we are willing, we can easily overcome it. But if the conflict drags on, interference will come with it and the situation will become complicated, because it is no longer a simple test arranged by Teacher for us to improve or realize our attachment. If one cannot realize the old force arrangements and inference, one can easily become entangled in self-blame and become depressed. After a while, one may even feel that there is no alternative. When one simply accepts it, the tribulation can last a long time. If one is determined to follow Teacher's arrangements of Fa-rectification and cultivation, and disallow any interference, persecution, or interference with saving sentient beings, then as soon as righteous thoughts emerge, the inference disappears.
