Solemn Declaration
Before I studied Falun Dafa, I had many diseases. After studying Dafa, all the diseases were gone. After July 20, 1999, the Chinese Communist Party blotted out the sky and covered up the earth to persecute Falun Gong practitioners. Police came to my home to search it, they confiscated my Dafa books and tapes, brought me to the Political Security Office of the local Police Station and forced me to write a guarantee statement that I would "not practice." At the end of 2000, I was arrested and taken to a brainwashing class. At that time, close to the Chinese New Year, because my one-hundred-year-old mother had a disease, through the request from the village leaders and my family members, I was released 14 days early. Before I went home, the head of the Political Security Office forced me to burn a Dafa book. I was extremely distressed being told to do something I knew I should not do. I was ashamed before Master and Dafa. I solemnly declare that all the words I said and wrote and deeds I did that go against Dafa are null and void. I will doubly make up that loss I caused to Dafa, do the three things Master asks us to do well, hurry up and offer people salvation and firmly cultivate Dafa to the end.

They sent people to monitor me every day, played a video slandering Dafa and Master and forced me to watch. They asked me to write words slandering Master and Dafa. I said I did not know how to write and can only write my name. Finally, one of the people running the brainwashing class wrote something for me and I was forced to sign it. I brought shame on Master and Dafa. I am sorry to Master and Dafa. I solemnly declare that, during the period when I was illegally imprisoned, all the words I said and wrote and deeds I did that do not accord with Dafa's requirement are null and void. I will stand up again and be a genuine Dafa Practitioner in the Fa-rectification period. I will doubly make up the loss I have caused to Dafa, and firmly cultivate Dafa to the end.
