(Clearwisdom.net) It has been a month since the Minghui website (Chinese version of Clearwisdom) started publishing articles submitted for the Fifth Internet Experience Sharing Conference for Practitioners in China. I have been reading these articles written by fellow practitioners at different levels, sharing their own cultivation insights. Their straightforward and honest words show their incomparably steadfast faith in Teacher and the Fa. As a veteran practitioner, my reason and rationality keep me from becoming easily excited. Still, those honest articles moved me to tears. Compared to these practitioners who have been selflessly giving everything they have to save sentient beings, I can see why I am lagging behind on my cultivation path.
Reading these articles reminded me of something Teacher said,
"[...] in calmness there is its own glory" ("Teaching the Fa at the Meeting on Writing Music")
Some of the fellow practitioners who contributed to the experience sharing conference do not have much education but each and every word they wrote reveals their righteous faith in Teacher. Their faith truly has intimidated the evil beings in other dimensions. The Fa's boundless mighty power enabled an ordinary life to grow in the midst of cultivation in the Fa-rectification period, becoming a Falun Gong practitioner envied by countless lives in the cosmos. The infinite sacrifices made by our compassionate and magnificent Teacher is forever beyond our imagination. Compared to such articles, the articles I have written are insignificant.
In terms of studying the Fa and clarifying the truth, I haven't been doing well compared to these diligent fellow practitioners. I am not determined to remove my attachments. My various desires surface from time to time, but I have not been able to suppress them with determination. Cultivation is about checking myself against the Fa and searching inward. Yet I am stubbornly guarding my attachments. There is very little time left for cultivation in the Fa-rectification period. We mustn't be attached to time, but we must cherish the extended period of time given by our compassionate Teacher to save sentient beings.
After reading these Internet Experience Sharing Conference articles, I realized I have fallen behind fellow practitioners. But I have also made up my mind to fulfill my mission to do the Three Things well and to save more sentient beings. There have been nearly 10,000 article submissions, which is a small number compared to the millions of Falun Gong practitioners in China. If only more practitioners would send their articles to this rational and peaceful experience sharing conference, then we would be able to share with each other and do better.
