(Clearwisdom.net) The Luchu Tomato Festival was held in Luchu Villalge, Kaoshiung County Luchu, on December 27-28, 2008. The festival organizers invited the Falun Gong Tianwei Tang Drummers to play at the opening ceremony. The Falun Gong practitioners then demonstrated the five sets of exercises, which received warm applause from the local residents and VIP in the audience.

There were booths exhibiting different kinds of produce and also a booth to introduce Falun Dafa. The Falun Gong exercises were taught free of charge, and residents were welcomed to practice and experience improved health.
On Sunday afternoon, the festival started with the Falun Gong waist drum team playing "Falun Dafa Is Good" and other selections. Next, the waist drum team and other practitioners from Luchu Village demonstrated the five exercises and announced the time and place of group practice sites in Luchu Village.
After watching the practitioners' splendid performances, village head Mr. Wang presented them with a certificate of appreciation and had his photo taken with them. The audience gave them a loud round of applause.
