(Clearwisdom.net) MONTREAL--Artist Ms. Malfara, was moved by the colourful scenes and beauty of the Divine Performing Arts 2009 World Tour when it took to the stage in Montreal's Place des Arts theatre on Sunday.

"Magnificent, it is just beautiful, it's just lovely," she said, "Beautiful, visually it is very magnificent."

The show uses an innovative animated backdrop which captivated her imagination. When referring to the backdrops she explained, "wonderful, interesting, the performer coming down from the picture, it was very well done. I enjoyed that."

"I especially enjoy Mulan [Mulan Joins the Battle], we watch Mulan all the time, because she is a national hero in china, we are fans for Mulan."

Chinese history is filled with tales of exemplary women, perhaps none so managed to fulfill the twin Confucian duties of service to one's parents and one's country as the heroine Mulan.

"The opening [The Five Millennia Begin] I liked the most, it's magnificent. My daughter actually most enjoyed spring dance [Welcoming Spring], because of the fans, the pink and apple green."

In The Five Millenia Begin, divine beings assemble in Heaven to prepare for their descent to Earth, where they will impart the very gift of culture. Among them is the Yellow Emperor of Chinese lore along with his royal court, who take the stage following a thunderous welcoming.

Welcoming Spring, features quick footwork, crisp movements, and stunning bursts of colour that form the basis of a women's fan dance.

When asked if she felt today's performance would inspire her as an artist she replied, "I got a lot of inspiration today, I love flowing fabric."

Ms. Malfara said that flowing fabric, and the shading of the pinks and greens, were especially inspiring.
