(Clearwisdom.net) Since the persecution of Falun Gong started nationwide on July 20, 1999, Shandong Women's Forced Labor Camp has persecuted Falun Gong practitioners sentenced to long-term imprisonment, making use of criminal prisoners and collaborators. Now they are torturing the practitioners even more cruelly than before.
The following information has come out from inside the labor camp after much effort. Chief prison guard Xue Yanqing led collaborators Qiu Xiuxing and Zhu Huifen to relentlessly persecute steadfast Falun Gong practitioners. They forbade the practitioners from sleeping or going to the toilet and forced them to write statements to denounce and give up Falun Gong. They grabbed onto the hair of practitioners who refused to give up Falun Gong and beat them so forcefully that their bodies were covered with bruises and their faces were badly swollen. Collaborators Jia Hui and Wang Xiaoran forced practitioner Ms. Zhang Baohuan to renounce Falun Gong by violently beating her. They used their shoes to beat Ms. Zhang in the face, resulting in broken teeth, and they forced her to swallow the broken teeth instead of spitting them out.
The labor camp has nine sections. The most horrifying section is the "New Prisoners Supervision Team." All Falun Gong practitioners sent to the prison are first sent to this team. As far as we know, practitioners held here include Ms. Zhang Baohuan, Ms. Zhang Wei, Ms. Zou Aixia, Ms. Wu Xiuhua, Ms. Lu Guiling, Ms. Wang Haiqing and Ms. Bi Jianhong, who was crippled after being cruelly beaten. In 2008, more than 60 practitioners were held and tortured here, more than in any previous year.
