(Clearwisdom.net) Many people in China are waiting for the Divine Performance Arts (DPA) shows. Those fortunate enough to be able to watch the shows were impressed by the profound inner meanings that the scenes portrayed. Bathed in compassionate energy and struck by the show's deep impact, they saw light and hope for life, as what they saw resonated deeply in the heart. It is a life-renewing journey.

My cousin lives in the countryside, and I took him a DVD of the 2008 DPA performance when visiting my parents prior to the New Year's holiday. I had the DVD a long time ago. However, considering his living in the countryside and only having had a basic education, I thought he might not be interested in such a world-class show because of his time being occupied working the land. Although I had visited him many times, I had not brought him a copy.

He heard about my visiting my parents again after the New Year and came to see me. I inquired if he had watched the DVD. His reply was, "Not only me, my entire family watched it. We watched it again earlier today!" I eagerly wanted to know, "What do you think of it?" His reply came in the form of a question, "Did you have this DVD a long time ago?" "Yes." "Did you think me incapable of appreciating such a high level performance?" That sentence struck me, and I went quiet and felt guilty. He paused and said after a bit, "I am very grateful to the person who created DPA. It is hard for me to find the right words to describe my feelings for it. I do know it is great, truly wonderful!"

I told him, "The DPA consists of overseas Falun Gong practitioners who are specialized in all aspects of the arts. The performance highlights and promotes the traditional Chinese culture. The contents are pure, beautiful and righteous. People cannot wait to attend a performance during the global tour. These world-class performances are already well known around the globe. This year's 300-plus global DPA performances will take place in about 80 cities."

My cousin looked at me and said, "The DPA performance is the best show I have ever seen. It is really outstanding. Overseas people are indeed fortunate to watch the performance in a theater. Well, I am also lucky this time since I can watch the DVD here. In other countries one can order a ticket to watch it. When there are more DPA performances like this in the future, can you reserve a copy for me? This is very precious; not something money can buy! "

I have received many requests like this. Most of the folks have watched the DVD, or heard about the DPA through truth-clarification materials. They appreciate the performance and are impressed. Some comments include: "Such a performance is pure and wonderful, really representing traditional Chinese culture!" "DPA displays our cultural roots. Since it corrects people's mindsets and speaks to their hearts, everyone likes it." "DPA brings us good fortune. The more we watch it, the more we like it!" "DPA helps to eliminate the Party culture and returns [our thinking] to traditional values. Knowing the truth helps one to be saved." "We really thank DPA, and thank the founder of Falun Gong!"

Many people in China have watched the DPA performances via satellite, on a DVD or by overcoming the Internet blockade during past few years. People are trying different ways to access it. Recently I asked one colleague, "Have you watched the New Year's Eve performance?" He said to me happily, "Yes, I watched it. And it is not the CCP one--which is dull and boring. I watched a live broadcast of the Chinese New Year Spectacular from NTDTV. It's really magnificent!" "How did you watch it? Via satellite or the Internet?" "Through the Internet. I really enjoyed it!"

A DPA performance is an artistic feast that Master uses to save sentient beings on a large scale. It has profound meanings and a deep impact. It corrects people's thinking related to degenerated culture and helps to create culture for the future. When an everyday person is watching the DPA, evil specters are eliminated and he is offered salvation. Master said,

"Every show was like that. People were deeply stirred and moved. In this dimension it was young people who were performing, while in other dimensions, many of my Law Bodies and many divine beings were doing so. (Applause) The strength of the impact on people, as with the changes it caused in them, were very similar to what happened back when I personally taught the Fa early on. I once left a DVD copy of a DPA performance at a restaurant. The restaurant owner heard about it and immediately played it on the DVD player. As the music started and the curtain rose, the noisy crowd suddenly became quiet and began to watch the show. The scene deeply impressed me. What performance can be so profound to touch people's inner being? I left in tears of excitement. I can imagine the audience members in theaters where the performance were given to have an even better setting. The atmosphere must be harmonious and compassionate. A DPA performance awakens people, strengthens their righteous thoughts and guides people for their return to the origin. It is powerful.

We all know the DPA performances' profound inner meanings. Master uses these to compassionately save people on a large scale. In the process of assisting Master with the Fa-rectification, we should have pure, righteous minds and let more people know about the DPA performance and thus offer them a way to salvation.

We need to produce more DPA performance DVDs from our hearts. This is something important, and we have to do it well. Most practitioners in my local area are able to understand this once they discuss it based on the Fa and realize that we need to promote the DVDs. Let us work together and make assisting Master with Fa-rectification even better.
