(Clearwisdom.net) The United Nations Human Rights Commission will conduct a thorough investigation into China's human rights conditions under the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) rule. In the open investigation, whether the UN Human Rights Commission will review the CCP's human rights issues seriously or not, whether the CCP will buy off and collude with governments that abuse human rights in their own countries and protect each other, whether the governments of democratic countries will uphold the principles of human rights or not--all these issues have raised extensive concerns in the international community. The U.S. House of Representatives' Human Rights Commission held a special hearing on this topic last week. It was also the first hearing on China's human rights held by the US Congress since President Obama took office.

Prior to the hearing, "Falun Gong Human Rights" found evidence that the CCP authorities manipulated the organizations it controls, non-independent organizations disguised as human rights groups, and fabricated reports completely against the facts, using various behind-the-scenes means to deceive the relevant departments in the UN, and swiftly delivered the evidence to the U.S. House of Representatives Human Rights Commission.

Spokesperson for "Falun Gong Human Rights" Chen Shizhong interviewed by the media in Washington DC

Dr. Chen Shizhong stated that according to the stipulation of the UN Human Rights Commission, the CCP authorities submitted to the UN a report on human rights conditions it created, and human rights groups and non governmental organizations can also provide their independent petition reports on the CCP's human rights conditions. However, the CCP has manipulated the organizations it controls or non independent organizations to pose as human rights groups to whitewash the CCP's record and deceive the world's people. Dr. Chen said, "It's actually a joke. Chinese people all know that the China Women's Federation, and China Federation of Trade Unions, are organizations under the CCP's leadership. There are also the National Federation of Industry and Commerce, China FIMITIC, Association for the Development of Tibetan Culture, China Education Association for International Exchange, and China Family Planning Associations, and so on. They are either subsidiary bodies of the State Council, or under the United Front Work Department. The CCP passed them off as non-governmental organizations, and submitted reports to the UN."

"Falun Gong Human Rights" pointed out in its analytical report that among 46 non-governmental organizations that submitted reports to the UN on China's human rights conditions, 19 are from mainland China, and two from Cuba. None of these groups can be regarded as independent non-governmental organizations. These non-independent groups of the Chinese government provided reports that cover up and whitewash China's human rights issues, and even turn black into white, attributing the reason for the worsening human rights conditions to some objective problems of developing countries, and covering up the real reason that the CCP abuses human rights.

Dr. Chen introduced that the CCP authorities' tricks directly affect the non-governmental organizations' petition reports prepared by the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, and totally negate the fact that the CCP has seriously and systematically persecuted religious groups, Tibetan people, Uighur groups, human rights advocates and Falun Gong practitioners stated in the report. In fact, the CCP authorities' persecution of Falun Gong practitioners is even more serious compared to previous years.

The hearing is fully packed. It is the first hearing on China's human rights issues since the new US administration took office.

The report of the working group's fourth meeting submitted to the UN by the Falun Gong Human Rights Working Group listed the high-pressure means that the CCP has been using to deal with Falun Gong cultivators: deprivation of jobs, confiscation of personal property, depriving the elderly of their retirement checks, forcing married couples to divorce, driving practitioners' children out of schools, arbitrary arrests, abduction in broad daylight, shocking with electric batons, burning them, drowning them, burying them in snow, hanging them up, having dogs and snakes bite them, force-feeding them with feces and urine, female practitioners being stripped naked and gang raped, inserting blunt objects into their private parts, forcing pregnant practitioners to have abortions, practitioners being beaten, burnt with fire, frozen, starved, poisoned, pushed out of high buildings and other brutal means that lead to death, and a large number of Falun Gong practitioners murdered in the process of having their organs harvested.

The analytical report provided by "Falun Gong Human Rights" has raised concerns of related personnel. In the hearing on China's human rights conditions held by the US House of Representatives Human Rights Commission, the first speaker, Ms. Felice Gill, exposed the CCP's tricks on the spot. Ms. Gill is the president of the UN Committee against Torture, and also chairman of the US Commission on International Freedom of Religion or Belief. She used her personal experience in the UN to expose the tricks of the "government-organized non-government organization" manipulated by the CCP to boost its standing in the UN.

Co-chair of the U.S. House of Representatives Human Rights Commission, Massachusetts' Rep. James McGovern, and a number of other congress members heard testimony of human rights groups. Mr. McGovern stated that the Chinese authorities' disregard of human rights has resulted in growing concerns in the international community, and it is also one of the most pressing issues for the new U.S. Administration.

After the hearing, Ms. Gill stated that we all look forward to the arrival of new times. Mr. McGovern said that he hoped the human rights issues would become one of the factors for considering all problems. U.S. House Speaker Pelosi also hoped that every decision made with regard to U.S. foreign policy should take human rights issues into account. She thought this was a new message being sent out to the Obama administration and the whole world.
