"It Was Fabulous. It Was Wonderful. It Was Really Well Done."

Rebecca Irey, the mother of six children and a medical documentation specialist, attended the show with her two daughters, Rachael and Julia, and her friend, Helen Keuning, and her daughter.

When the reporter asked Mrs. Irey what brought her to the show, she replied, "It's a special night out with my two girls. I have four other kids at home, but it's just the three of us here tonight. It's the girls' night out, you could say!"

Asked how she liked the show, she said, "It was fabulous. It was wonderful. It was really well done."

"My favorites were 'The Udumbara's Bloom' and 'The Monkey King Triumphs.' I also liked the song 'Hope' played by the erhu soloist. That was wonderful. Really beautiful sound. Unique," she said.

Her daughter, Julia, said, "I liked the show very much. I had a really good time. I liked the Monkey King--that was really cool."

Her other daughter, Rachael, told the reporter, "I'm just enjoying the show. It is a lot of fun. I loved all of it. It was all great, but I liked the 'Mongolian Chopsticks' dance. That was really cool. And I liked the 'Drummers of the Tang Court.' Those were my favorites."

Mrs. Keuning said, "I loved the show. It was really wonderful and beautiful."

She said that she "didn't know quite what to expect" before attending the show but thought that the traditional Chinese dancing, pageantry, and costumes were "delightful."

When asked what her favorite part of the show was, she replied, "Favorite part? There were so many. 'The Mystical Phoenix' dance was pretty cool."
