(Clearwisdom.net) On February 24, 2009, police from the Domestic Security Division of Zunhua City, Hebei Province and the 610 Office arrested Mr. Li Haidong, Ms. Min Hongyan, Ms. Liu Baoxia, Mr. Cao Yongxing, Mr. Wang Jian, Mr. Qi Jianguo and Mr. Sun Yuming and ransacked their homes. They are all either friends or relatives of Zhao Jingjun, a jailed practitioner.
On the morning of February 24, Mr. Zhao Jingjun's attorney from Beijing went to Zunhua City to look at his files. He then requested to see Mr. Zhao but his request was denied by the police at the detention center.
That afternoon, the attorney and Mr. Zhao Jingjun's wife, Min Hongyan, again tried to see Mr. Zhao. First they were told to wait and then police officer Wang Kunyuan from the Domestic Squad came. He stopped the attorney from seeing Mr. Zhao and even pushed the attorney, leaving him no choice but to go back to Beijing.
Then police officers from the Domestic Squad, the Prevention Office and the 610 Office started to round up Mr. Zhao's relatives and friends. They arrested Cao Yongxing, Li Haidong, Qi Jianguo, Sun Yuming and a relative of Sun Yuming's who does not practice Falun Gong. At 8 p.m., Wang Jian and Liu Baoxia were arrested. Mr. Li Haidong was thrown into the Zunhua Detention Center.
Currently Mr. Zhao Jingjun and his wife are jailed, leaving two children, ages 10 and 4, at home alone.
Those who participated in the ransacking of the practitioners' homes were Wang Kunyuan, Wang Jiguo, Zhang Zhimin and Lei Shizhong.
