(Clearwisdom.net) Shen Yun Performing Arts International Company held 6 shows in Hsinchu. The tickets for the last show were totally sold out. The theater had to arrange extra temporary seating for those who didn't get tickets. Twenty Western foreign language teachers in elementary schools also saw the show.

88-year-old Mr. Li Ganhsin, a very famous calligrapher, donated calligraphic work of art to Shen Yun. It read: "Shen Yun, Essence from the Heavens." The deputy chief of the performing arts company, Mr. Guan Guimin, accepted the gift on behalf of Shen Yun.

Mr. Li said, "Shen Yun portrayed beautiful scenes of heaven. The show was excellent. So, I call it the 'Essence of the Heavens.'
"Shen Yun is incomparable. It purified my heart, and I believe my calligraphy can be improved by the show, too.
"The content of the show is righteous. The dances were energetic. I got hints from the show, which will help with my art. The show demonstrated the realm of gods. We should believe in gods. Gods are selfless. The show also demonstrated Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, the principle that we should obey."
Mr. Lin Jianhong, the chair of a local photography association, suggested that people bring their children to the show, because kids can not only enjoy the beautiful dances but also learn Chinese culture and values from the show.

"You don't have to know Chinese to understand the show. People from all cultures and of all ages can clearly see what the stories are about. It is so beautiful that I wanted to take photos of it. It has given me ideas on how to improve my photography. I am very satisfied and touched. It is feast of art," Mr. Lin said.
Mr. Mai Yunhuang, a violinist, heard about the Shen Yun shows in New York, but he never got a chance to see it until now. His students in Taiwan had seen the show, so they recommended it to Mr. Mai. He and his friends came to Hsinchu from Taipei for the show.

He had high praise for the show: "It is so different. I've seen many Chinese dances, but Shen Yun truly astonished me. It is top-class. Behind the beautiful dances, we can see the efforts of the actors and designers of the show. The whole show made people happy. It makes one feel good."
