Police Stop Harassing Me after Learning the Truth

"The Fa is merciful to all beings, but at the same time it's solemn and dignified. And the Fa has standards, before sentient beings it's unchanging and unbreakable, and it's not something that can be influenced casually." ("Fa-Lecture During the 2003 Lantern Festival at the U.S. West Fa Conference")

Dafa practitioners should take the Fa as our Teacher.

One evening in the fall of 2007, three police officers knocked on the door of my home, and my daughter immediately opened the door. I told them to come in so I could clarify the truth to them. Two of the officers stood by the door and did not enter, but the third policeman came in.

My mind was very calm. I told the policeman to sit down and asked him, "What do you want?" He said he came to see if I still practiced Falun Gong, to which I replied, "Yes." I then clarified the truth to him. My voice was so loud that the other two policemen outside could also hear me.

I said, "We Falun Gong practitioners don't hit or bully others. We don't squander our money on extravagance, gambling or prostitutes. We follow the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. We think of others first whenever we do anything. We have high moral standards and are a group of the nicest people. Don't you harm these good people. If you do, you are committing a crime and violating heavenly principles."

I also said, "I used to have several different illnesses and I spent a lot of money on medical treatments, but I was not healed. I was healed only after I started practicing Falun Dafa. I was healed without spending a dime. My family used to fight all the time, and now we are kind to each other. I'm telling you all these good things because I'm a person of conscience."

The officer said, "We'll leave you alone if you practice at home, but don't practice in public."

I replied, "What you say does not matter. This is up to me. Let me tell you this. Now there are people in more than eighty countries that practice Falun Gong, which proves that the world needs Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. One should have the freedom to practice what one believes. This is not a crime."

I continued, "Let me tell you a true story. There is a policeman in the South who focused his work on persecuting Falun Gong practitioners. His name is Hu Dianchen. One day this Hu Dianchen received retribution. He is dead because his car hit a tree while driving, and yet there was only that one tree in that road. This is because God has eyes, and doing bad deeds brings retribution. There was an elderly lady who found Falun Gong materials on the ground. She picked them up and put them in a basket. By doing so she was protecting Falun Dafa materials so that others could use them to save more people. Shortly after, all her illnesses disappeared. She was blessed because she had done truly good deeds. You policemen should do good deeds and catch the thieves on the street. We Falun Gong practitioners are the nicest people. Why do you want to come after us?"

The officer said, "We did not want to come at all. We had to force ourselves to come. It was the higher-ups that ordered us to come."

I added, "Jiang Zemin's gang is corrupt and has violated heavenly principles. Heaven will eliminate them, and you should not be their scapegoats. The three of you should not be fooled by them. It is more important that you cherish your lives. Let me tell you another true story. There is a man, Liu Yuanjun, who was a Party Secretary in Changchun City. He was 57 years old and he worked hard to persecute Falun Gong practitioners. He was diagnosed with cancer and died less than one month after his diagnosis. You can check my references if you don't believe what I said."

In the end they said, "We are leaving, and we won't come back."

I said to them, "Remember that Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good. Then you will have a good future."

They have never returned.
