(Clearwisdom.net) In Xinjin County, Sichuan Province, there lives a man named Mr. Chen, who is now over seventy years old. He runs his own small business. He once told a Falun Gong practitioner that he read Falun Gong books. At first when he read, he couldn't see properly and had double vision, but now he can see the words clearly without glasses. He has quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) organizations and he believes that is what brought him the good fortune.
It was in 2005 that Mr. Chen quit the CCP after listening to practitioners clarify the truth about the persecution of Falun Gong. He now regularly receives truth clarification materials and then passes them on to others. He currently has flyers, booklets, CDs, the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, and Zhuan Falun in his possession.
After reading Zhuan Falun, Mr. Chen said that every statement made in the book was to advise people to be good. The decision by the CCP to persecute Falun Gong indicated that the CCP was truly bad.
When he read the Nine Commentaries, he said that everything stated in the book was true, and that communism has brought great harm to people. In 1958, when Mr. Chen was about 19 years old, he was imprisoned for ten years simply for changing some of the words to a children's song.
When Mr. Chen received a CD containing Tianyin songs, he was very moved by the song "Master's Grace," sung by Guan Guimin and Zou Xiaoqiong. He liked the words to the song, the singers voices, and the melody.
When he learned about the earthquake in Sichuan Province, he became aware that the reason why school buildings collapsed was due to poor quality construction, as corrupt officials provided inadequate funding for their construction. This was another reflection on the nature of the CCP.
After watching the 2009 "Shen Yun Performing Arts" show, Mr. Chen told a practitioner that he actually watched it twice. He started watching it at nine o'clock in the evening and finished at four in the morning. He really enjoyed seeing the gods and Buddhas come to earth and then return to the heavens.
Mr. Chen does what he can to let people know that "Falun Gong is good."
