San Francisco, California: Falun Dafa Practitioners Commemorate the Tenth Anniversary of April 25 Appeal (Photos)
(Clearwisdom.net) On the evening of April 25, 2009, Falun
Gong practitioners in San Francisco Bay Area held a candlelight
vigil to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the April 25 group
appeal of ten thousands of Falun Gong practitioners in Beijing,
China. They also commemorated the thousands of fellow practitioners
who have lost their lives due to the Chinese Communist Party
(CCP)'s persecution of Falun Gong. They called for justice and
conscience to stop the CCP's persecution.
Ottawa, Canada: The April 25th Appeal Will Be Remembered (Photo)
(Clearwisdom.net) On April 25, 1999, tens of thousands Falun
Gong practitioners peacefully appealed in Beijing to request a
peaceful practice environment. Ten years later, Falun Gong
practitioners in Ottawa gathered in front of the Chinese Embassy
and protested the CCP persecution. They advised the embassy staff
not to participate in the persecution and to renounce the CCP.
Houston, Texas: Practitioners Commemorate the April 25th Appeal (Photos)
(Clearwisdom.net) On April 24, 2009, Falun Gong
practitioners in Houston rallied in front of the Chinese Consulate
to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the April 25th
appeal. On April 25, 1999, ten thousands Falun Gong practitioners
peacefully appealed in Beijing to request that they be allowed to
practice without harassment.
