(Clearwisdom.net) Since the beginning of 2009, the 610 Office and the Domestic Security Section in Zhoucun District, Zibo City, Shandong Province, have arrested at least 8 practitioners. The practitioners' whereabouts and status are unknown.
On February 9, 2009, the police went to Mr. Chen Xinhong's home in Xinhan Village, Mengshui Town, and arrested him without a warrant. The police said that he was reported for distributing Falun Gong DVDs.
On February 14, 2009, Mr. Chen's family went to the Zhoucun District 610 Office to ask about visiting him. Instead of telling the family his whereabouts, Ding Qingming of the 610 Office called the Domestic Security Section to arrest the other family members, including Mr. Sun Bochen, Mr. Hu Lihe, and Ms. Zhou Sufen. Mr. Hu Lihe is still in detention.
On March 11, 2009, the 610 Office arrested Ms. Han (in her 60s) and Ms. Li.
On March 12, 2009, the 610 Office and the Domestic Security Section arrested Mr. Li Jingkun and Mr. Han Mingxiang.
On March 13, 2009, the 610 Office, the Domestic Security Section and the Mengshui Police Station went to Ms. Wang Cuihua's home to arrest her. 66-year-old Ms. Wang was out. Ms. Wang's husband and children lost contact with her afterwards. They are worried that she might have been arrested.
