(Clearwisdom.net) On May 9, 2009, to celebrate the 17th anniversary of Falun Dafa's spread around the world and the10th World Falun Dafa Day, more than 6,000 Falun Dafa practitioners from Taiwan, as well as Kinmen and Penghu Islands, arrived at Kending National Park in southern Taiwan. This national park is well-known for its peaceful scenery and fields. Practitioners gathered on the grassy plains and meditated in the formation of a giant copy of the book "Zhaun Falun." On the day, many practitioners videotaped and photographed stunning columns of light above the heads of every practitioner. Practitioners understood these to be the gong columns of cultivators, as mentioned in Zhuan Falun.

On the day of this event, the weather in Kenting was fine and clear, and in the beginning of the video the light columns could not be seen clearly in the bright sun. However, from the fifth second of the video, when a practitioner walks in front of the camera, a gong column can be clearly seen rising from the top of this practitioner's head. In the last five seconds, wherever the practitioner walked, the column of light followed.

This painting is entitled "Pure Lotus." It portrays the serene state in which a Falun Dafa practitioner meditates. At the top of the lady's head, a gong column manifests and corresponds to her level in cultivation. (From the "Truth-Compassion- Forbearance Art Exhibit")
