Ireland: Practitioners Celebrate World Falun Dafa Day (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) When World Falun Dafa Day arrived on May 13, 2009, Falun Gong practitioners in Ireland held a parade and celebratory activities to express their appreciation to Master Li for his merciful salvation and to celebrate the 17th anniversary of Falun Dafa's public introduction and the 10th "World Falun Dafa Day." They displayed the beauty of Falun Dafa and also exposed the persecution by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).

During the parade, some of the practitioners demonstrated the five sets of graceful and relaxing exercises on a float. To the music of "Falun Dafa Is Good," a group of practitioners performed a vibrant fan-dance. Afterwards, practitioners rallied in downtown Dublin, demonstrating the exercises, performing dances and Tang drumming, and displaying the exhibition panels to explain the background of Falun Gong and the persecution. Passersby came to get flyers, and many stopped to read the posters carefully. Many lined up to sign the petition calling for an end to the CCP's persecution of Falun Gong.

A senior gentleman took a flyer and read it carefully. Then he spent the whole afternoon watching the exercise demonstration and other rich and colorful performances by the Falun Gong practitioners.

Two Chinese students smiled when practitioners gave them a handmade paper lotus and Falun Gong promotional bookmarks.

Ms. Liu, a practitioner, said that those who are able to practice cultivation in Falun Dafa are truly fortunate. She said that World Falun Dafa Day is sacred to cultivators. More and more people are learning about the goodness Dafa brings to mankind and Ms. Liu believes that, in the future, everyone will celebrate this day.

At 5 p.m. when the rally finished, practitioners had a group photo taken to wish Teacher a happy birthday.
