(Clearwisdom.net) Teacher has repeatedly told us the importance of studying the Fa, "No matter how difficult your environment is, no matter how busy you get, you cannot forget to study the Fa. You must study the Fa, because it is the absolute, most fundamental guarantee of your improvement." (Fa-Lecture at the Conference in Florida, U.S.A.) For these past years, I have given Fa-study the highest priority. Besides studying "Zhuan Falun", I also study the other Dafa books and Teacher's articles repeatedly. This set a good foundation for me to do the three things well.
On August 21, 2002, Teacher published the poem, "Hurry Up and Tell Them" (Hong Yin Volume II, English Translation Version A):
"As Dafa disciples clarify the truth
Sharp swords shoot forth from their mouths
Tearing open the rotten demons' lies
Lose no time and save them,
hurry up and tell them"
I realized after reading this, that time is short and that we should not let kind-hearted people be repeatedly deceived by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). At 8 p.m. one evening, I was going home after distributing truth-clarification fliers, and I saw posters that slandered Teacher and Dafa pasted on over twenty windows and a side street bulletin board. The first window had several pictures of Teacher. I discovered that the lock to the first window was broken, and I could easily open it. I thought: "It's not accidental that I saw this." I sent forth righteous thoughts to let other people leave. I also asked Teacher to strengthen me. With a calm mind like still water, I quickly took down the poster and left. As I was leaving, I looked back over my shoulder, and saw there were many people walking near the bulletin board and it was very bright under the street lights. I knew that Teacher was watching out for me at that time. The next day, all the bad materials had been removed.
Before the Beijing Olympic Games in 2008, the Director and Party Secretary of our residential committee came to my home to "discuss" with me. In the past, I didn't want to talk to them, because they had helped the police to steal my computer and ransack my home. But this time I had a thought, "They are here to listen to the truth." I first sent forth righteous thoughts to eliminate the evil factors behind them. Then I welcomed them warmly.
Teacher said,
"People's ability to understand things, or lack thereof, and sentient beings' different thoughts and views on this, have become challenges for you as you validate the Fa and save the sentient beings of this world. But regardless of how they have behaved, we still need to save them, for their lack of understanding is on account of their being lost in delusion. They cause some challenges for Dafa disciples because they cannot see things as they really are. Whatever their reason for coming here millennia or eons ago, they have, all the same, been awaiting this final time. We cannot decide against saving them just because they conducted themselves poorly in one lifetime or did some particular thing wrong." (Fa Teaching at the 2008 New York Conference).
I told them what Falun Gong was really about, why it could raise people' moral standards, the issue of taking medicine, the staged "Tiananmen Self-Immolation", the widespread practice of Falun Gong in over 100 countries and regions around the world, and that Zhuan Falun has been translated and published into more than thirty languages. I also recited Teacher's words on cultivating xinxing. They listened intently and asked why Falun Gong practitioners asked others to quit the CCP and distributed fliers? I gave them some examples, including the tsunami and other disasters. I told them that clarifying the truth to people and helping them to quit the CCP and its affiliates is to help save people. I told them about the "Nine Commentaries on Communist Party" and that every one of the CCP's political movements is designed to kill people. I talked for an hour. On their way out, they said that they wanted to come back to chat with me again. When I did run into them after that, they were always polite and smiling to me.
In the past year, I was not as diligent as before: fear kept coming up once a while. I was not very focused when studying the Fa and sending forth the righteous thoughts. I argued with my husband at home and I didn't want to look within when there was a tribulation. And I enjoyed shopping for new clothes and being praised by neighbors as being beautiful, elegant, and not looking like a 65-year-old lady. Actually the evil forces were using human mouths to expose my attachments, so that they could take advantage of me. Then I started to have pain in my right leg. It swelled, and became numb. And gradually I had problems walking. This situation lasted for six months. Teacher had sent me hints several times in my dreams, asking me to enlighten. Finally, I woke up and started diligently studying the Fa to get rid of my attachments and sending forth righteous thoughts. The pain in my leg suddenly stopped.
Fellow practitioners, we have walked to the final stage of assisting Teacher to rectify the Fa. The closer it is to the end, the stricter the requirements are for us and the higher the standards that we will be measured against. In closing, let's use Teacher's Fa to encourage each other!
"The Fa-rectification is progressing rapidly, and the righteous thoughts of Dafa disciples as they validate Dafa and save sentient beings are disintegrating in large quantities the meddling deities and rotten demons that play a negative role, thereby effecting fundamental changes in the state of the world. But the evil elements as well as the evil Party and evil specter, who can see that all is lost, are putting up a final struggle, and this is all the more reason for Dafa disciples to do an even better job of clarifying the facts and saving the world's people and sentient beings. The closer it gets to the end, the more you cannot let up; the closer it gets to the end, the better you must study the Fa; the closer it gets to the end, the stronger your righteous thoughts must be."
