(Clearwisdom.net) This article outlines another example of the persecution against Falun Dafa disciples conducted in the Sanshui Forced Labor Camp in Foshan City, Guangdong Province.

The forced labor camp held two separate "Attacking the Fort" campaigns, each lasting four months, one from February to June 2004 and the other from October 2004 to February 2005. This mobilized all the guards to use different instruments of torture to try to force Falun Dafa practitioners to give up cultivation. The major persecution methods included deprivation of sleep, physical assault, not being allowed to use the bathroom, not being allowed to bathe, deprivation of living necessities, not being allowed to contact others, and being forced to watch video tapes that slandered Dafa for long periods of time. Practitioners who protested this persecutions were beaten and put in solitary confinement cells.

The violence slowed between February 2005 and February 2006. However, since March 2006, guards at the Sanshui Forced Labor Camp started to use public displays of violence. In addition to solitary confinement, beatings and shocking with electric batons left practitioners' bodies covered with injuries. The government once had a rule that stipulated that shocking with electric batons was not allowed at forced labor camps except in special cases. However, this has became a regular tool at the Sanshui Forced Labor Camp. These tortures are still used today.

After March 2006, the Special Management Team has been responsible for torturing Falun Gong practitioners and maintaining the brutal persecution.
