(Clearwisdom.net) The following are a few ideas that I wanted to share with everyone. I welcome corrections of any deficiencies.

1. When we produce truth-clarification materials, how should we reach readers who know nothing about Falun Dafa?

Because truth clarification materials are distributed to the general public, there could be readers who really do not know anything about Falun Dafa. If we target these readers, we should focus on a specific topic. We should avoid using words or phrases that would cause them to resist. Our ideas should be presented slowly and gradually. For example, we should not start out by saying how bad the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is because some readers may be offended and not finish reading. When we talk about quitting the CCP and its affiliated organizations, we should not simply suggest outright that the reader quit, without clarifying the reason to the reader. Even for short articles, we should do our best to let the reader understand the reasons. As long as our reasoning is clear, it would be good even if we only talk about one point.

2. When we produce truth-clarification materials, we should think from the reader's point of view

In the past, when I wrote truth-clarification articles, I thought that the reasoning was clear from my point of view. But, from an ordinary person's point of view, I found that my article was not very good. People with low moral standards or an atheistic point of view might not be able to understand the article at all. If we consider ordinary people's thoughts and feelings, we can easily find the right things to say. For example, influenza is breaking out now. What people are most concerned about is their own health and safety. So, if we talk about influenza, people will be interested. At the same time, people will be able to feel that we really do care about their safety. People will take note.

3. When we produce truth-clarification materials, we should have a comprehensive and coherent line of thought

In a small booklet, articles should be consistent and should have a coherent line of thought on clarifying the truth. They should not be a patchwork of unrelated articles. Additionally, truth clarification fliers should also pay attention to this. Just like when we talk to people face-to-face about the truth, it is impossible to talk about everything. We should have a single line of thought. For example, first start talking about the beauty of Dafa, then talk about the CCP's lies and persecution, and talk about quitting the CCP last. Small booklets should be done like this too. Each article is independent, but, we should take into account how they interlink and contrast one another so that readers can follow a line of thought. In fact, many of our booklets are already written in this style. But, how can we all do better?

I have realized that the process of producing truth-clarification materials is in fact how we let go of our notions. It is the process we use to fully think about and care for sentient beings. Actually, Master Li is doing everything. When our xinxing reaches the right level, we will surely find the right ideas and subjects. We will then produce work that is full of wisdom and benevolence, and we can awaken sentient beings.
