Experiences Distributing Shen Yun DVDs

(Clearwisdom.net) The Minghui website published an article encouraging practitioners in mainland China to spread DVDs of the Shen Yun show widely. I came to understand that spreading Shen Yun is a merciful opportunity Teacher gives to practitioners. It is another opportunity for those who still have not come out to clarify the truth in person. It is also an opportunity for practitioners to eliminate their attachments of fear and to cultivate compassion.

I am one of those who find it difficult to clarify the truth to others in person, especially asking people to withdraw from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations. I tell myself it's because I don't usually like to talk to people, but I finally realized that I can't leave any regrets during this final time. When I made up my mind to break through my shortcomings, 2009 Shen Yun DVDs had just come available for us to distribute.

One day I brought along several DVDs and while walking on the road, I thought that I should give them to those I met along the way, but after half an hour had passed, I only had given out two DVDs, so I started to worry. A thought then suddenly appeared. Why couldn't I visit shops to give them the DVDs, just like those who were doing marketing work? When I started doing this, the effect was very good, and all of a sudden all the DVDs were handed out. I was very happy. I then understood that Teacher was encouraging me. Teacher saw my heart for wanting to save sentient beings, so Teacher gave me the wisdom to ensure I could do well. Once I knew how to do it, the more I did it, the more smoothly it proceeded. The more experience I got, the better I could talk to people.

I was then able to do it very smoothly without any concerns.

When I go out, I first pay attention to what I wear. It has to be nice and clean to give people a good impression. I visit shops in the morning and evening, careful not to impact the shopkeepers' business.

Because I came out late to clarify the truth in person to people, today after breaking through, I truly understand Master's words,

"Cultivation depends on one's own efforts, while the transformation of gong is done by one's master. It is good enough if you have this wish. It is the master who actually does this, as you are simply unable to do it." (Zhuan Falun)

As long as we think of sentient beings, and do things with our hearts, Teacher will continue to give us wisdom.
