Going Out to Persuade People to Quit the CCP Face to Face

Today the people who have quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) in China amount to less than 4% of the total population. We should have a sense of urgency. At this moment, how much effort have we put forth toward clarifying the truth and saving the sentient beings? We should face this question with clear minds. Every day Teacher extends the end time of Fa-Rectification by enduring countless tribulations and pressures. The extended time is for us to save sentient beings. Otherwise the whole thing would have already ended. Teacher said in "Teaching the Fa at the 2004 Chicago Conference,"

"So for our Dafa disciples, clarifying the facts in actuality far transcends your personal cultivation."

Teacher also said in "Fa Teaching at the 2007 New York Fa Conference,"

"As Dafa disciples, if right now you cannot accomplish that and lead beings to salvation, then you will have failed to fulfill the vows you once made, and will have brought calamity to the entire Fa-rectification, the universe, and sentient beings. That's why I said just now that this is something Dafa disciples must do well."

We know that saving the sentient beings has already become the special cultivation practice for our Dafa disciples today, which started on July 20, 1999, and goes until the Fa rectifies the human world. For a long period after July 20, 1999, the major format of saving the sentient beings was to indirectly distribute the truth-clarifying materials to the people. Large materials production sites formed and small materials production sites blossomed everywhere like flowers. The truth-clarifying materials arrived in people's hands from the sites indirectly. Because the evil factors were still huge and most of the people were still deceived by the lies and controlled by the evil beings, indirectly passing out the truth-clarifying materials was also a safe way to clarify the truth at that time. When we started persuading people to quit the CCP, the most effective way to save the sentient beings was to clarify the truth face-to-face. The main body of Dafa practitioners is in China. If each practitioner persuaded 17 to 18 people to quit the CCP, the total number of people who quit the CCP would already exceed half of China's population. This is completely achievable based on the ratio of Dafa practitioners to the whole population. Overseas Dafa practitioners established and ran the media smoothly under difficult conditions. At the same time, they maximally show the world's people the Dafa practitioners' elegant demeanor by all kinds of parades, parade floats, the celestial maiden, waist drum troupes, the Divine Land Marching Band, the Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance Art Exhibition, exhibition boards, anti-torture exhibitions, group exercises, passing out fliers face-to-face, all kinds of press conferences, making phone calls to China to clarify the truth and the three Shen Yun world tours. These things have shocked the universe and the world's people. All these formats actually are based on face-to-face truth-clarification.

The practitioners in China should not be limited to clarifying the truth face-to-face only to their acquaintances, since the acquaintances are only a minority of the whole population after all. We should also clarify the truth and persuade strangers to quit the CCP, because those people are the majority of the population. Our mercy should be for all the sentient beings. They were all Teacher's relatives in the past. They firmly believed that Fa-Rectification would succeed and they came to the world trying to help Dafa. Actually we are all very clear about this. But why didn't we do it? It is just because we are stopped by our attachments. But cultivation is to eliminate such attachments.

Teacher arranged our road of cultivation to be very orderly. When the Fa-rectification has reached this stage, we should be able to openly and nobly clarify the truth to the people face-to-face and persuade them to quit the CCP in order to be saved. Before we face people it is necessary for us to first face ourselves and our attachments, such as the fear of facing people under the evil environment, the fear of being misunderstood, the fear of embarrassment, fear for our own safety, and being complacent for what we already did which lets us ignore clarifying the truth face-to-face, only to emphasize what we are currently doing and gloss over better ways to save sentient beings. We have to let go all the attachments and human notions in order to clarify the truth to people face-to-face. And only if we go out to clarify the truth to people face-to-face can we save more sentient beings and harmonize what Teacher wants.

When we indirectly pass the truth-clarifying materials to people, many practitioners (including me) initially had fear. I would sweat, my heart would beat fast and my legs were exhausted. We did not seriously pay attention to our attachment of fear while passing out the truth-clarifying materials. When we go out to clarify the truth face-to-face, we have to face the people confidently and we have to achieve a certain level of righteous thoughts. Then we have to give up the fear, attachment of sentimentality and self. When we passed out the truth-clarifying materials, no one could see our nervousness, but when clarifying the truth face-to-face, the people look at us, hear what we say and feel us in their hearts. So we at least need to be calm, peaceful and merciful. We not only need to show a Dafa practitioner's elegant demeanor, but also need to clarify the truth according to people's attachments. We need to clarify the truth based on their acceptance and use our wisdom bestowed by the Fa to untie the knots in their hearts. To achieve this, we need to have mercy, wisdom, rationality and righteous thoughts. We need to be clear about the truth first in order to clarify the truth to others. This kind of special cultivation environment in which we can comprehensively cultivate ourselves and improve ourselves is extremely rare!

The evil factors are already very limited. Currently, many people are easily able to accept the truth and quit the CCP after we tell them the truth. Each mature Dafa disciple is a mobile materials site. Wherever we go, we clarify the truth and persuade people to quit the CCP. We carry the "mobile materials site" with us all the time, which does not need energy, does not consume money, is inexhaustible, is more perfect when using more practitioners, is very handy and can bring about more practitioners' participation.

Actually clarifying the truth face-to-face to strangers is not as difficult as the human notions think. For a Dafa practitioner formed by the Fa, it is very easy. Teacher told us no matter if we are veteran practitioners or new practitioners, we should all go out to clarify the truth.

Many practitioners made up their minds to clarify the truth face-to-face and succeeded the first day they went out. Some could do it well after only a few days. A nearly eighty-year-old practitioner clarified the truth to people face-to-face for a month and finally was able to effectively persuade people to quit the CCP. This practitioner's actions testified to the truth of the statement, "...it's hard to do, but you can do it" (Zhuan Falun). I also saw a few diligent practitioners help a practitioner who was illegally imprisoned and just came out of prison. This practitioner can now consistently persuade strangers to quit the CCP face-to-face every day. It is encouraging that every day there are many people that are saved. All the articles that the "Minghui Weekly" column "Clarifying the Truth, Save the Sentient Beings" publish are about clarifying the truth face-to-face, persuading people to quit the CCP and passing out the Shen Yun DVD.

The practitioners in our local area have a few very good ways to help the practitioners to go out and persuade people to quit the CCP. The first way is to share their experiences in group Fa-study. Many practitioners still lack the experience of clarifying the truth face-to-face. After the Fa-study, the practitioners shared their experiences, including how to break through oneself to go out and clarify the truth face-to-face, how to rectify our thoughts during the face-to-face truth-clarification and how to open people's knotted hearts. The practitioners use clarifying the truth face-to-face as the main topic and focus on how to clarify the truth well face-to-face, how to persuade people to quit the CCP on a large scale and how to fulfill our vows and missions. Certainly it is not about giving up all the other formats of saving sentient beings. Another way to get help is having the veteran practitioners help and guide the new practitioners, which works very well too. This greatly reduces the transition time between not going out and going out to clarifying the truth face-to-face, and pushes the process of persuading people to quit the CCP and be saved. This new way of veteran practitioners leading new practitioners can be considered as a Dafa resource and can be widely used. We can use it within the Fa-study group or with the practitioners we get in touch with. The coordinators can also coordinate this process. The practitioners who are experienced in clarifying the truth face-to-face can also take the initiative to find the practitioners who haven't gone out to clarify the truth yet and lead them to do it together. When the practitioners have the experience, they can lead other practitioners who haven't gone out either. The practitioners who do not know experienced practitioners can also find another practitioner and clarify the truth together and then consistently do it. In addition, the practitioners can go out and clarify the truth face-to-face independently. As a result, more and more practitioners will go out and clarify the truth to people face-to-face, until we meet Teacher's requirement.

"All Dafa disciples, students both new and veteran, should get to work and begin comprehensively clarifying the truth. This is especially so for the Dafa disciples in Mainland China: each must come out and clarify the truth, bringing it to every field and valley, mountain and hill, not omitting a single area where there are people." ("Let Go of Human Attachments and Save the World's People")
