Falun Gong at the Worcester Asian Heritage Festival (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) On June 28, 2009, Falun Gong practitioners participated in the annual Asian Heritage Festival in Worcester for the third time. Their Falun Gong exercise demonstration and paper lotus flowers received high remarks from the visitors.

"The Chinese Communist Party is totally unreasonable"

A Japanese woman living in Worcester came to the Falun Gong booth to ask if there were any Falun Gong practitioners in Japan. When she heard that Falun Gong has been introduced to over one hundred countries, she said, "Oh, so you can learn Falun Gong just about anywhere in the world!"

She was very interested in the five sets of exercises. When a practitioner told her that the Chinese Communist Party believes only in atheism and persecuted Falun Gong when it had more members than the CCP, she said, "The Chinese Communist Party is total unreasonable!"

Remember "Truthfulness-Benevolence-Forbearance"

Three Indian children, 6-year-old Zeena, 7-year-old Preeya and 8-year-old Niki, came to the booth to make lotus flowers. Later, they came back again to make more lotus flowers for their families. Some children came back with lotus flowers and began to learn from the beginning to make a lotus flower by themselves. When they were done, the practitioner reminded them to remember, "Truthfulness-Benevolence-Forbearance".

Software CEO wants to learn Falun Gong

The CEO of a software company was very happy to learn about Falun Dafa and wanted to learn the exercises. He left a business card and wanted to keep contact with the practitioners.

"Strong energy field"

William is a local resident who heard about Falun Dafa for the first time. When he got close to the Falun Dafa booth, he immediately felt a strong energy field from the practitioners. Looking at the practitioners demonstrating the exercises, he said that he felt a strong pull to learn the exercises.

Calling on righteous support

A middle-aged Chinese woman told a practitioner that her sister-in-law practiced Falun Gong in China and was arrested many times. Her family was broken apart by the authorities, and she is still homeless as a result. Practitioner Wu said that she has experienced the same persecution in China and called on people to offer their support for ending the persecution.
