Recalling the First Large Scale Group Exercise in Laixi City (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) Today I opened up my album and saw a set of photos in which practitioners from Laixi City were doing the exercises in 1998. There were three large scale activities in Laixi that made a deep impression. One was the large-scale group practice attended by 1,000 practitioners at the city's stadium in June 1998, and the second was the Jiaodong Regional Falun Dafa Cultivation Experience Sharing Conference attended by about 4,500 practitioners in August 1998. The third was a group exercise attended by 2,000 practitioners in December 1998.

Several large-scale group practices served to promote Dafa and attracted many new practitioners. The practitioners studied the Fa and cultivated their xinxing according to Dafa's requirements. They tried to be good people and did things according to the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. Their families became harmonious, and society became more stable.

Now the practitioners in the photos are in a different situation. Sui Guangxi from Niuxibu Township was tortured to death by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). Zhu Lixin was subjected to forced labor twice and tortured severely, and now is detained at the Jinan Women's Forced Labor Camp. Wu Jianfang is a teacher from the Vocational Education School, and is now detained at the Jinan Women's Forced Labor Camp. A well-known and good doctor from Laixi City People's Hospital, Li Guoen, was sentenced to 4 years in prison and detained at Jinan Prison. Another good doctor, Wu Xinxiu, from Laixi City People's Hospital was a volunteer coordinator at Laixi City's practice site. She was sentenced to three years in prison and is now detained at the Dashan Detention Center in Qingdao City. A nurse of obstetrics and gynecology from Laixi City People's Hospital, Sun Lin, developed hyperthyroidism heart disease. After she practiced Falun Gong, her illnesses disappeared. After the persecution started, she was sentenced to three years in prison and detained at the Dashan Detention Center. The above is just what I know firsthand.
