Say One More Sentence to Save One More Person
(Clearwisdom.net) On May 17, 2009, Master said in his
"Greetings" to the Canada Fa Conference, "The evil is finished and the environment has changed, so it is even
more imperative that you not let up in cultivation. Go forth and forge your
mighty virtue and glory by carrying out the sacred mission of saving sentient
beings!" After repeatedly studying Master's article, I enlightened that the rapid
progress of Master's Fa rectification and the new situation realized through the
Fa rectification require higher standards for practitioners. We have experienced
the changes ourselves in the attitudes of sentient beings towards Dafa during
the Fa rectification. While we feel happy for them, we also need to remind
ourselves to do the three things well according to Master's
teaching. The evil factors behind sentient beings have become less and less. For some
people, only the poison from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) culture is left,
but that poison is preventing them from being saved. When you ask them to
withdraw from the three CCP organizations, the person might say, "I don't
believe anything, and what you are talking about belongs to a belief system, so
you can believe it yourself." Or they might say, "You can talk about
that to someone else," or "I only know that I have to work everyday to
make money just to eat, so I can only think about that." Some people's
attitudes are not as bad as before when I clarified truth to them, but they say
with a smile, "I know what you are doing," and then leave in a hurry.
I've run into all kinds of situations, and most of the people don't want to hear
more, which prevents them from being saved. Under such circumstances, what should we do? I think that we might be able to
save them if we say one more sentence to target their attachments and break
through their shells. Once I was clarifying the truth to a barbecue restaurant owner to try to
persuade her to quit the CCP. She said to me, "I don't believe in God. What
you say is about a belief and does not have anything to do with me. I only know
to sell more barbecue each day to make more money." I continued, "I
know you don't believe in anything, and you don't have to believe me, but if you
think a bit further, things are not happening based on what you do or do not
believe. When catastrophes comes, what will you do? What I told you is truly for
your own benefit, right?" She then said, "What you just said is also
correct." Since she told me at the beginning that she had once joined the
CCP Youth League, I just said to her, "I will use this pseudonym to help
you withdraw from the CCP Youth League, okay?" She thanked me with a smile. Another time I spoke to a fellow who didn't want to withdraw from the CCP no
matter what I said. He said repeatedly, "What you said relates to a belief.
I have no objection to that, but I'd like remain neutral and keep things as they
are." I said to him, "This attitude might work for an organization and
I wouldn't oppose it, but as an individual, this doesn't seem right. You cannot
be neutral when facing death--everyone has to make a choice. If you don't quit
the CCP, you belong to the past and will be eliminated along with the evil. If
you quit, God will protect you when catastrophes come. You belong to the future,
and I am doing this for your own good. Don't miss this opportunity and regret it
for the rest of your life." He finally quit the CCP organizations and
expressed his thanks. With the precious time left and in such a good environment that Master has
given us for saving sentient beings, every practitioner should first get rid of
all kinds of attachments--such as the attachment of fear, timidity in the face
of difficulty, or fear of others saying bad words--and then do things well with
the mindset of a god to save people. Saying one more sentence or telling them
one more principle could save one more person. Only by doing so will we not be
ashamed to accept Master's benevolent salvation and be qualified to bear the
name of "Dafa practitioner."
