A Conversation Between Three Policemen

(Clearwisdom.net) One night in mid-December 2008, an elderly practitioner in his eighties was distributing truth-clarification materials in a residential subdivision, when he was reported to the local police station. However, no policemen showed up, so the person in charge of this subdivision called the police station again asking for police to come. Finally two policemen showed up. One of the officers asked the elderly practitioner, "What are you doing out here at your age during the night? Please hurry up and get in the car." The elderly practitioner knew that the police understood the truth.

After they arrived at the police station, as one policeman went to play on his computer, two others tried to go through the routine of interrogating the practitioner. However, the elderly practitioner said nothing except, "Falun Gong practitioners are good people! " Hearing this, one policeman said quietly, "It's okay if you don't want to say anything. We will just sign our names on it."

The three policemen then started a low-voiced conversation. One said, "I don't want to do these virtue-losing deeds because people involved in persecuting Falun Gong will receive retribution. One case of retribution involved a policeman from the same police station. When he went out to arrest a Falun Gong practitioner; a car hit him and he died on the spot. I saw all this with my own eyes. Several young policemen from other police stations also died during these past years. All of them were actively involved in persecuting Falun Gong."

Another policeman said, "Master Li is not an ordinary person. We will commit virtue-losing deeds if we arrest Falun Gong practitioners."

The police who sat by the computer said, "My neighbor used to be very bad. She often cursed others badly, and nobody dared to irritate her. But she changed into a totally new person after practicing Falun Gong. So how can you said that Falun Gong is bad? I really don't understand why our government would persecute Falun Gong. Let's just do a good thing and release the practitioner today."

The police officers immediately released the elderly practitioner and told him to hurry up and go home, saying that it was very late and so cold outside.
