  • Destroying Eyewitnesses Within "Three Months"

The International reaction has been one of outrage since the evil and horrifying activities against humans [Falun Gong practitioners] at Sujiatun were made public. It took more than twenty days for the Chinese Communist Party to release a formal response. The prevailing perception by outsiders is that the Chinese Communist regime has destroyed all physical evidence relating to the allegations. This has another most serious aspect associated with this affair - the safety of "eye-witnesses."

On March 27, the Chinese Communist regime enacted a law that prohibits buying and selling of human organs. But the law does not become effective until July 1. On March 28, the Chinese Communist foreign ministry spokesman Qing Gang denied, during one of the routine Chinese press conferences, the existence of the Sujiatun Concentration Camp They also invited the media for an on-site visit.

Because of this, people are confused. They wonder why the Chinese Communists would want a three-month delay before the "law" goes into effect.

On March 31, a senior level military doctor from the logistics department of Shenyang Military District described the harvesting of organs from living Falun Gong practitioners. He also disclosed that Sujiatun Concentration Camp is only one of 36 such camps. The largest camp is in Jilin Province, and its code name is 672-s. More than 120,000 detainees are imprisoned at that camp. This senior army doctor also said that the latest order from the head of the Chinese Communist Party is to treat Falun Gong practitioners as a "class enemy." This means that anything could be done to Falun Gong practitioners - whatever serves the interest of the camp or individual. No report is required.

From this information, we understand clearly what the "more than three months" are for - for buying time. The latest unusual activities at Tianjin First Central Hospital tell a story that is much too shocking for anyone to bear.

According to reliable sources, staff at Tianjin First Central Hospital performed many more liver and kidney transplants in late March than ever before. The surgeries were always performed at night. Why has this hospital suddenly such a large supply of organs (livers and kidneys)? Sources believe that the transplants were performed due to the urgency of the situation. The Chinese Communist Party is stepping up their elimination of "live witnesses" in all concentration camps.

Falun Gong international organizations are urgently calling for help, calling for an immediate investigation to protect the lives of witnesses.

Cong Guixian, Falun Gong Practitioner from Songyuan City, Jilin Province, Persecuted to Death

Ms. Cong Guixian, a Falun Gong practitioner from Songyuan City, Jilin Province, was brutally tortured by the Chinese Communist Party agents. She was illegally sentenced to a ten-year prison term, and was detained in Changchun Heizuizi Women's Prison. She developed very severe illness symptoms during detention, and had to be released on medical parole. Cong Guixian's illness worsened and she died on March 28, 2006.

Cong Guixian was a Falun Gong volunteer assistant, in charge of the coordination in the Songyuan area after the persecution began on July 20, 1999. In late 2001, because of the Chinese Communist Party agents' damage, Falun Gong material sites in Songyuan City were ransacked. The evil covered Songyuan City. Despite the pressure, she, Liu Chengjun and other practitioners reestablished materials sites in Songyuan. On November 11, 2002, police from the Songyuan City Police Department arrested her when she was in a telephone booth. The police torture her inhumanly, including pricking her fingers with pins. She was tortured for 48 hours. But she firmly believed in Teacher and Falun Gong and steadfastly resisted all of the evils' demands.

During the illegal detention, the police tried many cruel methods to force Cong Guixian to provide the whereabouts of other practitioners. Besides fists and kicks, they tied her up and pulled her in four directions at the same time. This caused her hands and feet to swell and bleed profusely. They also used bamboo pins to nail down her fingers. When Cong Guixian lost consciousness, they applied fire to burn her feet. When the police were persecuting her they also threatened her, "We will take you to your son's school, and show your miserable state to your son." Cong Guixian seriously said, "If I go there, I will tell all students Falun Gong is wonderful." In the end those hoodlums failed.

Around April 2003, Cong Guixian was sentenced to ten years in prison and was detained in Changchun Heizuizi Women's Prison. During the illegal detention, Cong Guixian suffered from severe illness symptoms. She was released on medical parole in 2005. Later her illness worsened. On March 28, 2006 she died in Songyuan City People's Hospital after the hospital staff failed to revive her.

Ms. Wu Junying, Arrested Again Shortly After Her Release from Labor Camp, Dies as a Result of Further Persecution

Six people from the National Security Group in Beijing's Daxing District went to Dawangzhuang Village on January 17, 2006 and illegally arrested a 54-year-old village woman, Falun Gong practitioner Wu Junying. She was later sent to forced labor for two and a half years. The abusers subsequently took her to the Beijing City Dispatch Division for further persecution. She was sent to Beijing Xin'an Forced Labor Camp on March 29, and soon after 7:00 p.m. on March 31 her family was told that she had passed away.

Beijing Xin'an Forced Labor Camp claimed she passed away at about 5:00 a.m. from myocardial infarction. Her family went to see her remains and found that one of her hands was black and blue and there were needle marks on it.

Ms. Wu Junying was from Dawangzhuang Village in Wudian Town, Beijing's Daxing District. Persecutors in Beijing Women's Forced Labor Camp abused her severely for practicing Falun Gong. She had been sent to the so-called "training team" several times for intense abuse. Each day she was barely allowed to sleep, and was not released until ten months after her term was up.

Once during a meeting when the criminal guards attacked Falun Gong, Wu Junying refused to participate. A female guard named Cheng Cuie then ordered several prisoners to forcibly drag her into the meeting place. Wu Junying immediately shouted, "Falun Dafa is good!" Because of this, her detention period was prolonged by four months. She was sent to the "training team," forced to stand for a long time and deprived of sleep. She was not given a bed. She had no option but to stand the whole time. In winter, the police stripped off her cotton pants and sweater, threw them onto the ground and didn't let her wear them.

Wu Junying had just returned from the forced labor camp a year ago, when at about 10:00 a.m. on January 17, 2006, she was arrested again. Participating in the arrest were five agents from the National Security Group in Beijing's Daxing District Police Department as well as people from the local police station. Six people participated in the arrest. One was a police officer surnamed Geng from the local police station. Wu Junying firmly resisted. The lawless people dragged her into a police van and took her to the Daxing District Police Department.

On March 29, Wu Junying was transferred to the Beijing Xin'an Forced Labor Camp. Soon after 7:00 p.m. on March 31, her family was told that she had passed away.

Zhang Jin Died of Persecution at 70; Son and Daughter-in-Law Still Persecuted in a Forced Labor Camp

Mr. Zhang Jin, 70, was a Falun Gong practitioner from Taipusiqi, Inner Mongolia. He started practicing Falun Gong in 1998 and was very diligent in his practice. After the persecution began on July 20, 1999, police from the  610 Office put his home under surveillance, often placing a stake-out nearby and following him to his home to harass him. Zhang Jin died on March 13, 2006, yet his son and daughter-in-law are still being persecuted in a forced labor camp.

His son, Zhang Junqing, and daughter-in-law, Duan Songping (from Kunshan City, Jiangsu Province) were forced to leave their excellent jobs and life in Kunshan City, Jiangsu Province in 2000 because of they practiced Falun Gong. Since they could not return to their home afterwards, they finally went to Taipusiqi to live with their parents.

In November 2004, Duan Songping went job hunting in Ximeng City. She was reported to the police at the Ximeng Ethnic Professional Trade School when she clarified the truth to her former classmates. The police from Xilin District, Hohhot City illegally arrested and detained her. Duan Songping went on hunger strike for more than ten days to protest the persecution. Shen Ping, Xiong Jiji from Kunshan City Police Department  in Jiangsu Province, and the head of the Baochang County "610 Office" in Inner Mongolia also went to Xilin District Police Department in Hohhot City to participate in the persecution. They sentenced Ms. Duan to three years of forced labor at the Inner Mongolia Women's Labor Camp.

In late December 2004, Zhang Jin's wife, his son Zhang Junqing, and another Falun Gong practitioner, Zhao Suqin, went to Inner Mongolia to visit Duan Songping. They were told by the police at the labor camp to wait to be received. Soon a dozen plainclothes police showed up and handcuffed all of them. In the freezing weather of -30oC (-22oF), they were stripped and searched three or four times, and then were all detained and beaten by the deputies. On January 3, 2005, they were transferred to Xilin City Detention Center by Ximeng City Police's National Security Group, and were severely persecuted. On January 13, 2005, Zhang Junqing was sentenced to three years of forced labor at Wuyuan County.

At that time Zhang Jin was suffering from a bone fracture caused by a traffic accident. He and his two-year-old grand daughter had no one to take care of them. His wife, son, and daughter-in-law were all arrested. He could not walk by himself, with his granddaughter crying for her mother. Yet even so, Taipusiqi police officers Feng Guoliang, Cao Yi and other deputies often came to his home to harass and coerce him, trying to force him to sign and finger print a document. They even ordered him to report to Ximeng City Police whenever he was called to do so. Because of the constant stake-outs, surveillance, following, and phone tapping, he lost all of his freedom. Zhang Jin suffered unspeakable agony both mentally and physically.

On March 8, 2006, his granddaughter contracted a high fever and kept crying for her mommy. Zhang Jin felt so desperate and sorrowful and he suddenly lost his breath and speech. He died on March 13, 2006.

After his death, his family requested that his son and daughter-in-law come for his funeral, yet Wuyuan Forced Labor Camp did not release his son, but demanded that his family arrange automobile transportation and official papers for local government representatives. Inner Mongolia Women's Labor Camp also refused to release his daughter-in-law. The family's request for a death certificate was repeatedly delayed.

Dai Xiaoping Tortured at Weifang Detention Center - Her Husband Died from Similar Treatment

Police officers recently arrested Falun Gong practitioner Mrs. Dai Xiaoping from Weifang, Shandong Province. She is currently detained at Weifang Detention Center, where she is chained to a "death bed" and being force-fed. Her situation is critical. Mrs. Dai's husband, Mr. Mou Naiwu, was previously a physics teacher at Weifang College. He insisted on practicing Falun Gong and was persecuted to death. He died on June 13, 2004, leaving a teenaged daughter at home alone.

Mrs. Dai is 44 years old. She had suffered from multiple illnesses. Starting in her 30's, she was unable to work full time due to her health condition. After she started practicing Falun Gong, her illnesses disappeared and she underwent tremendously positive changes, both mentally and physically. After her husband, Mr. Mou, started to practice Falun Gong, his body underwent transformations as well. His quick temperament also changed for the better. After the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) started persecuting Falun Gong, the two were illegally arrested, detained, and tortured many times. Officers from the police department and the National Security Group broke into their home very late at night to arrest them many times. The husband and wife were sent to a forced labor camp. While her parents were away, their 13 year old daughter cried for them every day.

In January 2000, Mr. Mou was sentenced to three years in a forced labor camp. He was brutally tortured at Changle Forced Labor Camp and started to have severe heart problems. His blood pressure shot up to 260. Mr. Mou was finally released for medical treatment, but he suffered paralysis on one side due to mistreatment and was unable to care for himself. The entire family suffered under this condition. They had no income, and Mrs. Dai had to take care of her husband, as well as support their school-aged daughter. Even while suffering such tragedy, people from the Weifang National Security Group, and officers from the police department, did not stop monitoring, following and harassing them. Late on the evening of July 26, 2001, ten or so individuals from Weifang National Security Group broke into Mrs. Dai's home. Mrs. Dai was taking a bath at the time. Those persons broke into the bathroom and dragged Mrs. Dai into a police car while she was still in her underwear. At the same time, they also arrested Mr. Mou, who was lying on the floor because of his immobility. Their teenage daughter was scared and crying loudly. She was left at home alone.

At the forced labor camp, Mr. Mou was again in critical condition. His blood pressure went up to 280, he started to suffer severe disrhythmia and had difficulty breathing. He was released again for medical treatment.

Mrs. Dai was illegally sentenced to three years at Wang Village Forced Labor Camp. Since she refused to be "transformed," she was brutally tortured. She was locked in a small, unventilated toilet room for more than six months, and was deprived of sleep for more than forty days. Labor camp guards instructed prisoners to abuse her continually. Whenever she closed her eyes, they all jumped on her. They tore, beat, pushed, and pulled her, while cursing and yelling. She was forced to stand continuously for eighteen days and nights as punishment. Her legs were swollen all the way to the tops of her thighs, but her belief did not waver. In early 2003, she was again in critical condition, and was released to her family. At that time she became homeless to avoid further persecution.

During the time she was in the forced labor camp and before she became homeless, her physically disabled husband supported the family and cared for their child. He fell down countless times. After suffering from numerous arrests and being detained for so long at the forced labor camp (where he was severely tortured both mentally and physically), Mr. Mou died on June 13, 2004. He was only 42 years old.

On the afternoon of March 3, 2006, Mrs. Dai was speaking the truth about the persecution to some pedestrians in Gongan Alley, Kuiwen District, when a heartless individual reported her to police. She was then illegally arrested and sent to Development District Police Department. Three days later, she was transferred to Weifang Detention Center and detained for one month. Mrs. Dai refused to give out any names, and she did not cooperate with the police. She began refusing food and water on the day she was arrested. It has been eighteen days since then. Currently, the police tie her to a "death bed" every day with chains, and force-feed her. At this time, Mrs. Dai is extremely weak and thin. She is suffering a tremendous amount of brutal torture, and her situation is critical. Her family has requested to see her multiple times, but have been refused. Her young daughter lost her father, is separated from her mother, and now has no home to go to. She says that she already lost her dad, and is extremely worried about her mom.

On March 16, 2006, without notifying her family, Development District Police Department broke into Mrs. Dai's home and stole her stereo, DVD player, house deed, bank checks, etc. The break-in order came from Development District Police Department chief, Ming Zhengliang. This vicious individual drinks, gambles, and frequents brothels. He stops at nothing to persecute Falun Gong practitioners. There have been multiple deaths of persecuted practitioners in various cities. After he became the chief of Development District Police Department, he became even more rampant. He arrested large numbers of Falun Gong practitioners and sent them to forced labor camps.

Falun Gong Practitioner Cui Shuyong Cruelly Persecuted in the Third Labor Camp of Henan Province

Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Cui Shuyong was held in the Third Labor Camp of Henan Province. He suffered from inhumane tortures by the guards because he refused to give up Falun Gong. They beat him so cruelly that the rubber club they used was broken. They also bound Mr. Cui with a rope the thickness of a finger, and tied it so tightly that the rope snapped. He endured these tortures for fifty days. A year has now passed, and Mr. Cui still has problems with his legs.

At the beginning, the police in the labor camp deprived Mr. Cui of sleep by having two guards flank him day and night. One week later, they started physically torturing him. First they hung him up with a rope. Then they bound him, and the two guards lifted him up and threw him to the ground. Afterwards, they cruelly beat him with rubber clubs and steel pipes the size of a finger. After the beating, guard Shen Jianwei cruelly beat him in the face with his leather shoes. When he got tired he said, "I don't want to damage my shoes, your face is worth less than my shoes." Finally, guards Wang Yonggang, Li Fubing and others urinated on him and spit on his face. Mr. Cui was tortured for fifteen days like that, and as a result he became unable to stand upright.

One week later, they resumed the torture. They tried to force him to slander the founder of Falun Gong and to declare allegiance to the communist party, but he refused, so they continued beating him. They beat him at night and forced him to do hard labor during the day. He was not allowed to sleep. In the summer, he was not even allowed to wash his clothes.

The tortures used towards the end became even more brutal. Rubber clubs were viciously thrust against his chest causing him to scream in pain. To prevent his screaming from being heard outside, guard Zhang stuffed his mouth with a broom. During the torture, they broke a rubber club and a finger-sized rope. They tortured him like this for fifty days. Now, one year later, Mr. Cui still has difficulties moving about.

The forced labor camp imposed extreme demands on Falun Gong practitioners regardless of their physical conditions. There were constant threats of not having their terms reduced. Practitioners were forced to work more than twelve hours every day, sometimes as many as fifteen hours. If they failed to finish their assignments, they were abused and beaten.

The products they made are exported to the U.S. and Europe. Here is a list of the companies involved: Hiris, Longyuan and Senyuan Factory. Their vehicle numbers: Henan K66266 (Joint venture by China and foreign countries), Henan KD1355 and Henan K82052.

Despite these crimes, the Third Labor Camp of Henan Province was awarded the "Advanced and Civilized Labor Camp" designation. This award was obtained through fabrications and deceiving superiors.

The guards involved in the persecution of Mr. Cui are Shi Baolong, Meng Guanglu, Zhao Zhimin, Xu Yongwang, Shen Jianwei and Zhang.

The Persecution of Yu Xiuhua and Her Family

On February 28, 2006, chief of police Zhu Zhaohong and police officer Yuan Yuepeng from Xiyang Town Police Station, along with other town officials barged into Ms. Yu Xiuhua's home and asked Yu Xiuhua if she still practiced Falun Gong. Yu Xiuhua said that she most certainly would not stop practicing such a good method. While talking, they searched everywhere and found a small truth-clarifying booklet. Using this as an excuse, Zhu Zhaohong and another person forcibly dragged her to the car and took her away. Yu Xiuhua's four-year-old child was frightened and cried out loudly.

Yu Xiuhua, 46, lives in Pingdingshan Villiage, Dagangzi Town (now combined with Xiyang Town), Yongji County, Jilin Province. She started practicing Falun Gong in 1996. Before she began practicing, she had heart disease, leg paralysis and many other ailments. She was very weak and could not bear children. After practicing, her health not only improved, but she also gave birth to a healthy and lively child at age 43.

After Jiang launched the persecution of Falun Gong on July 20, 1999, she was continuously harassed and persecuted by the local police station and government.

On November 25, 2000, Yu Xiuhua, her husband, and three other practitioners were asked to have a talk with officials. Those officials were town government military chief Cheng Guobao, Li He from the propaganda branch, and police officer Yuan Yuepeng. Thereupon, all five of them were sent to the brainwashing center in Kouqian Detention Center. They were illegally detained and persecuted there for over two months.

On July 16, 2005, Yuan Yuepeng, village chief Chen Xinmin, and two other persons stormed into Yu Xiuhua's home and took her husband to the Kouqian Brainwashing Center.

On February 28, 2006, Yu Xiuhua was taken by police from Xiyang Town Police Station to Yongji County Kouqian Detention Center where she was held for fifteen days.

In order to support the family, Yu Xiuhua's husband has to ride around on a tricycle sharpening knives for people and he has to take their young child with him. Life is indeed very difficult.

Police Arrest Practitioner Mr. Wang Xiaodong from Huadian, Jilin Province

Mr. Wang Xiaodong, 39, a Falun Gong practitioner from Huadian, Jilin Province, was illegally sentenced to forced labor because he practices Falun Gong. On March 9, 2006, several police officers from the Huadian Police Station broke into his house and ransacked it. Mr. Wang was not home at the time, but his mother had to escape through a window. On March 11, a group of police officers headed by Yu Jinji (female) and Jin Zhexian (male) again ransacked Ms. Wang's house and then arrested him and his mother. Later that day, the police released his mother, but Mr. Wang is still imprisoned at the detention center in Huadian.

His brother, Wang Xiaohu, was sentenced to seven years in jail and is still in Tiebei Prison in Changchun.
