  • Washington, DC: Rally at Capital Calls for Investigation and Actions to End the Killing

At noon on April 13, dozens of Falun Gong practitioners rallied at the Federal Plaza in Washington DC to protest the CCP's crimes of eliminating evidence and deceiving the international community after the atrocities inside the Sujiatun Concentration Camp were exposed. At the same time, practitioners called on President Bush, the international community and media to support and join the IGFG's (Investigate Genocide of Falun Gong in China) efforts to go to China to conduct an independent investigation and collect evidence in order to stop the genocide and rescue the Falun Gong practitioners who are being slaughtered.

The CCP Is Trying to Eliminate All the Evidences

    IGFG Washington spokesman Jeff Chen

At the rally, spokesman for the IGFG Jeff Chen said: "After the CCP's atrocities of harvesting organs in the Sujiatun Concentration Camp from living practitioners was exposed, it first spent three weeks eliminating all the evidence, then claimed that nothing like that had happened in Sujiatun and invited international media outlets to investigate onsite. Will anyone who knows a little about the CCP's nature of fabricating lies be fooled by this trick? Of course not. However, we will go to China to investigate."

    Killing Is Still Ongoing

Washington, DC Falun Gong practitioner Dr. Huang said: "Since March 2006, several witnesses have testified that the CCP had set up a secret concentration camp in the Sujiatun district, Shenyang city. The camp has detained thousands of Falun Gong practitioners, harvested organs from living practitioners and then cremated their bodies to destroy evidence. Informants said that there are 36 concentration camps of this kind in China. An investigation shows that the CCP is speeding up its efforts to destroy all the evidence. This means that practitioners detained in all these 36 concentration camps, thousands of labor camps, jails and hospitals are facing death at any time.

Victims of Persecution Testify at the Rally

Australian citizen Jane Dai attended the press conference with her 6-year-old daughter Fadu. She recounted how her husband was beaten to death by the CCP for upholding his belief in Falun Dafa.

Jane said: "The thing I fear most is when my daughter asks me: 'Why is daddy not here?'"

Jane called on all kindhearted people around the world to help end this killing.

Yuzhi Wang was once detained and tortured at the Wanjia Labor Camp in Heilongjiang province. She was later rescued to Canada. Yuzhi recounted her experience at the camp: "Since the atrocities inside the Sujiatun Concentration Camp were exposed, the organ harvesting from living practitioners reminded me many things in the Wanjia labor camp. When I was persecuted almost to death and my eyes were nearly blind, I was taken to four major hospitals in Harbin for physical examinations. The results were consistent concluding that my organs were failing. If any of my organs had been good, I may not have had the opportunity to speak here."

    Call for Independent Investigation

Mr. Chen said: "As direct victims of the persecution, to investigate the persecution from all aspects and stop it, it is very necessary and important for Falun Gong practitioners to go to China to investigate the actual situation. We invite international organizations, government agencies and media outlets to form a joint delegation with us to perform an independent investigation and collect evidence in China. We will not inspect the Sujiatun Concentration Camp, in which all evidence has been destroyed. We request an investigation of all jails, labor camps, hospitals and psychiatric hospitals. We not only wish to request charges of organ harvesting from living practitioners but also to investigate torture, rape, brainwashing and all other crimes committed against Falun Gong practitioners.

Call President Bush to Bring Up Two Requests to Hu Jintao

On behalf of IGFG, Mr. Chen called on President Bush to bring up two points during his meeting with Hu Jintao next week:

    1. Open up all of China's labor camps/jails/hospitals for international investigation.
    2. Allow IGFG to go to China and research the facts of the persecution of Falun Gong.

Canada: Practitioners Submit More Than Ten Thousand Signatures Calling for Investigation into CCP's Concentration Camps

An appeal letter with 16,000 Canadians' signatures was delivered to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on April 12, 2006. The letter requested the Canadian government to help investigate the crime of harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners and cremating their bodies in the CCP's forced labor camps and secret concentration camps. Last Tuesday, renowned human rights lawyer David Matas suggested the international legal system should bring the CCP's criminals to justice.

Former director of Asian-Pacific Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs David Kilgour gives a speech.

On the same day, Falun Gong practitioners rallied in front of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to voice their urgent call for the Canadian government to take action to assist in the investigation. Former director of the Asian-Pacific Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs David Kilgour gave a speech to show support. An official of Ministry of Foreign Affairs met Falun Gong practitioners' representatives in the afternoon and accepted the 16,000 signatures to request an investigation into the CCP's harvesting of living Falun Gong practitioners' organs and 80,000 signatures calling for an end to the persecution.

Mr. Kilgour said to practitioners at the rally that he believed everyone in the building of Ministry of Foreign Affairs knew about the shocking pictures Falun Gong practitioners were showing and knew of Falun Gong's Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance. The Falun Gong practitioners had not done this in vain. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs clearly know what the CCP is doing. He expressed his gratitude to Falun Gong practitioners on behalf of the Canadian people.

Ms. Lucy Zhou, spokesperson for the Falun Dafa Association said the CCP had transferred Falun Gong practitioners from the secret concentration camp in Sujiatun and denied everything to the international community. Lucy said, "We learned from the investigation report of the Global Organization to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong that many hospitals were rushing to do organ transplants. Quite a big portion of the organ supply was from Falun Gong practitioners. We are very worried that the CCP is killing Falun Gong practitioners to destroy evidence.

"We are asking the Canadian government and other international organizations to urge the CCP to open all forced labor camps and facilities with Falun Gong practitioners for investigation, to allow the Integrated Committee to Fully Investigate the Facts of the Persecution of Falun Gong in China to conduct on site investigations. Our ultimate goal is to release all detained Falun Gong practitioners and stop the persecution."

Renowned human rights lawyer David Matas said at the rally at Parliament Hill last Tuesday that the CCP is a system that shields crimes of violation of human rights. There was no independent legal system to punish crimes against humanity. He said we must take action against the crime of harvesting Falun Gong practitioners' organs. The legal system in Canada and other countries had to bring these criminals to justice before we could deter and stop such crimes against humanity.

Since the crime of harvesting Falun Gong practitioners' organs was discovered, Falun Gong practitioners in Canada have appealed at the Canadian Parliament and Ministry of Foreign Affairs, collected signatures and distributed flyers every day, rain or shine. Many MPs, lawyers and non-governmental organization have shown their support. Seven MPs attended the rally at Parliament Hill last week to show their support. Officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs met with Falun Gong practitioners several times to learn about the secret concentration camps.

Falun Gong Practitioners Expose the Crimes of the CCP at the National Press Club

On the afternoon of April 13, invited by the Epoch Times Newspaper, Falun Gong Association spokesman Erping Zhang and practitioner Yuzhi Wang who was once persecuted in the Wanjia Labor Camp exposed the CCP's crimes of harvesting organs from living practitioners and called for a thorough investigation of the 7-year persecution at the National Press Club.

Yuzhi Wang, once persecuted nearly to death in a Chinese labor camp

Sujiatun Concentration Camp is Just the Tip of the Iceberg

Mr. Zhang said that the exposed Sujiatun Concentration Camp is just the tip of the iceberg. More appalling atrocities involving more practitioners are still being hidden inside labor camps in China.

Mr. Zhang said: "From all the new evidence, organ harvesting from living practitioners is not only practiced in Sujiatun, it is a widespread phenomenon in Chinese labor camps."

He pointed out that the CCP authority responded to the charge of organ harvesting after three weeks of silence.

"It tells us that the CCP has just completed destroying evidences in the camp. It is not a surprise for such an evil regime to do so as it had never acknowledged its crimes. In the past 7 years, the CCP has tried its best to cover up the brutal persecution of Falun Gong."

Near Victim of Organ Harvesting Gives Testimony

Persecution survivor Yuzhi Wang made a special trip from Canada to Washington DC to expose the CCP's atrocities. In Wanjia Labor Camp, she barely escaped being killed for organs.

With tears, Ms. Wang said: "If my organs were not diagnosed as "Useless", perhaps I wouldn't be standing here and giving this testimony."

Ms. Wang said: "Recently, media exposed that there was a hospital in Sujiatun which routinely harvested organs from Falun Gong practitioners and cremated the remains to destroy evidence. This reminded me of my experience in Wanjia labor camp, where I was taken to four hospitals to for examinations of my blood and organs."

While detained in the Wanjia labor camp in Heilongjiang province, the 610 Office and guards took her to four major hospitals in Harbin to have blood tests and secret diagnosis of the health of her organs. After all the four hospitals unanimously concluded that all her organs were "useless", the "610 Office" suddenly lost interest in her and even stopped monitoring her. Consequently, with help form a kindhearted nurse, she contacted her friends and escaped to overseas.

Ms. Wang hopes that the international community will pay close attention to the ongoing organ harvesting in Chinese labor camps and to form a delegation to go to China to perform independent investigations of the CCP's atrocities.

    Testimony of Witness

During the press conference, a recording of the testimony of a witness was played. The witness' ex-husband participated in organ harvesting from Falun Gong practitioners.

The witness said that her ex-husband participated in operations to remove practitioners' organs. As a brain surgeon, he participated in removing corneas from practitioners, including some living practitioners.

The witness said that this hospital harvested organs, including liver and corneas from practitioners on a large scale. The remains were then cremated in a modified incinerator. Many of these practitioners were weak and some were still very strong and healthy. They were all arrested illegally, and none has left there alive.

The witness said Falun Gong practitioners who were imprisoned there came mostly from Dabei Prison, Masanjia Labor Camp, and other prisons in Shenyang, or they were Falun Gong practitioners arrested in parks or residential homes. Because they refused to denounce Falun Gong, they were arrested without formal warrants, and their families did not know their situation. Many did not even have their names [recorded]. In addition, since the Chinese authority exercises a policy of "not being responsible" for killing Falun Gong practitioners, the death of Falun Gong practitioners is not a big issue for prisons.

Fully Investigate the Facts of the Persecution of Falun Gong in China

Erping Zhang said that from several recent investigations we have drawn this conclusion: Genocide to kill all concentration camp victims and eye witnesses is happening on a large scale in China.

"Considering the urgency of the situation, the Falun Gong Association has taken the initiative to form Investigate Genocide of Falun Gong (IGFG), also known as the Integrated Committee to Fully Investigate the Facts of the Persecution of Falun Gong in China, to investigate the persecution in all labor camps, jails, hospitals and other related facilities. We will invite credible organizations to join us to conduct an independent investigation in China." Mr. Zhang said.

Sydney, Australia: People from All Walks of Life Support Ten Million Quitting the CCP, Concentration Camp Atrocities Shock the Local People

On the afternoon of April 8, 2006, Australia Friends of Falun Gong, Global Service Center for Quitting CCP, Free China, The Epoch Times, World Organization to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong, Global Coalition for the Public Trial of Jiang Zemin, Australia Hunger Strike Backing Group, and Free Man Culture Association gathered in downtown Sydney and held a rally to support ten million Chinese people quitting the CCP and its related organizations and condemn the CCP's atrocities of harvesting the organs and killing Falun Gong practitioners in the Sujiatun Concentration Camp, labor camps and prisons. The Vietnamese community, Tibet group and Taiwan community also dispatched representatives to support the activity. Nearly 400 people from all circles in Australia participated in the event. The participants called for an end to the killing and persecution and for the urgent rescue of Falun Gong practitioners being persecuted in China. They called on all Chinese people to awaken and renounce the evil CCP.

After the rally, a march from Belmore Park to Chinatown was conducted with police vehicles running in front. The reenactment of the CCP's organ removal from living Falun Gong practitioners was conducted on a float and shocked spectators. At the destination of the march, a reenactment of organ removal was performed and many people watched and accepted handouts to learn the facts.

Many groups in Sydney condemn CCP's persecution of human rights and support withdrawals from CCP

The rally was hosted by a renowned host of an Australia radio broadcasting station and Sound of Hope International Radio Broadcasting Station. One host first introduced the support from a member of parliament (MP), who was not able to attend due to other commitments. The MP supported China's human rights and was shocked at the CCP's atrocities.

Ms. Tracy from Global Peace Association

Ms. Bao Kang from Vietnamese Radio Broadcasting Station gives a speech

Ms. Tracy from Global Peace Association gave a speech in the rally and stressed freedom of belief, which the CCP deprived the Chinese people of. She thought that the CCP is afraid of Falun Gong because practitioners have their own belief. The CCP knows it will vanish if people have their own belief, so the CCP persecutes groups like Falun Gong.

The number of withdrawals from the CCP is nearing ten million. Mr. Chen from Sydney Service Center for Quitting CCP said that the quitting is a movement reflecting the awakening of Chinese people and also the disintegration of the CCP in a peaceful, rational and non-violent way. He called on all governments and media to pay attention to the withdrawal movement and help investigate the CCP's concentration camps, labor camps and all cases of the CCP's persecution of those quitting the CCP.

Ms. Bao Kang from Vietnamese Radio Broadcasting Station also gave a speech in the rally. Mr. Chen Yonglin, former diplomat from the Chinese consulate, and Mr. Feng Haiguang, a democracy advocate who fled to Australia recently, and several others also gave speeches.

March Supporting Withdrawals from CCP. Atrocities in CCP's concentration camp shocking people

After the rally, the participants held a march. The march was composed of five processions, including anti-persecution group, waist drum team, Nine-Commentaries group, Quitting CCP and the Epoch Times. The march started from Bellmore Park, passed through downtown Sydney and ended in Chinatown. Numerous banners, flags, drums and messages spread the news of ten million people quitting CCP.

Float for reenactment of organ removal in Sujiatun Concentration Camp

Reenactment of organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners imprisoned in Sujiatun Concentration Camp

In the march, the float showing the reenactment of organ removal caught the attention of passers-by and spectators. A guide explained the atrocities in China's labor camps and concentration camps in English and Chinese. People were shocked and felt it was unbelievable. Those who learned the facts condemned the CCP's inhumanity.

At the destination of the march, a moving drama reenacting the horror of organ harvesting was performed and many people watched and were shocked. An older Chinese lady said after learning the facts that the CCP could commit any crime and would be punished by heaven. A few Chinese ladies passed by Chinatown with their children and saw the march. Initially they complained that practitioners exposed China's shortcomings. After they learned about the CCP's atrocities in concentration camps, they showed sympathy towards Falun Gong and said the CCP was too inhumane and must be punished by heaven.

It was heard that at about the same time that ten million Chinese had quit the CCP, the Falun Dafa Association and Clearwisdom website established the "Integrated Committee to Fully Investigate the Facts of the Persecution of Falun Gong in China" to conduct an independent, direct, interference-free investigation to collect evidence, and completely search for the truth of the persecution of Falun Gong, including the Sujiatun Concentration Camp and other secret concentration camps located elsewhere. The Falun Dafa Association and Clearwisdom Net called on all kindhearted people of conscience to give this committee their help and moral support. Let the facts of the persecution be exposed as early as possible, so that this brutal persecution that has lasted almost seven years can end.

Korea: Exposing the CCP's Atrocities at Chinhae Harbor

The annual "Cherry Blossom Festival" in Chinhae has a history of more than 40 years and it is the largest cherry blossom celebration in Korea. Every year, about 1 million people come out to appreciate the cherry flowers and participate in all kinds of colorful celebration activities. Taking this wonderful opportunity, from April 1 to 9, local Falun Gong practitioners held activities to raise awareness of the CCP's atrocities of harvesting organs from living practitioners for profit and cremating the remains to destroy evidence. Through the activities, they hope that the public can clearly see the evil nature of the CCP and take action to end the atrocities.

Demonstration: The Chinese Communist regime harvests organs from living practitioners detained in labor camps and prisons

Before the activities, they visited the local police department and city government to clarify the truth about the atrocities in the Sujiatun Concentration Camp. They also delivered a special printing of the Epoch Times detailing the tide of Chinese people withdrawing from the CCP and its affiliated organizations.

The activities were held at Sculpture Park in Chinhae city. Practitioners displayed large banners and photos about Falun Gong and the persecution in China. Most tourists listened to practitioners' explanations about the practice and the persecution, and read the photos attentively. Some also took photos of the site. An older Christian lady asked what she could do to help practitioners persecuted in China.

As the park is at the foot of a mountain, there was quite bit traffic, and all vehicles drove slowly. Practitioners were thus able to distribute materials about the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party to tourists in the vehicles. Some tourists in buses also took the initiative to ask for the materials.

Every day, practitioners' truth-clarification activities started at 10:30 a.m. and concluded at 5 p.m. One day, a young man passed by and saw the news about how the CCP harvests organs from living practitioners detained in labor camps and concentration camps. He was shocked and said: "How can such atrocities have happened? He said that he would do research on the internet to verify the news and then help to spread it online. People who have learned the truth unanimously condemn the CCP's atrocities and in succession signed the petition. Once, for example, a lady told all her companions to sign the practitioners' petition to resist the persecution.

On April 8, practitioners held two anti-torture exhibits in the morning and afternoon respectively. In addition, they also demonstrated how the CCP's persecution policies have encouraged doctors and nurses to harvest organs from living practitioners. Upon seeing the site, many people stopped to watch and commented: "How can such atrocities have happened?"

During these activities, many people asked what kind of people Falun Gong practitioners are and why local practitioners would hold such activities. Practitioners told them: We are all Korean Falun Gong practitioners and the purpose of these activities is to help end the most brutal persecution in history as soon as possible. In China, the news is controlled by the CCP. People in China rarely know about the atrocities happening next to them. Therefore, it is very important to spread the news about the atrocities and our efforts will soon let the news spread to China as well. Only if the truth is exposed to the whole world can such atrocities be stopped and prevented from happening again.

During the 9-day activities, a large number of people learned the truth about the persecution happening in China and said that such atrocities should not be allowed to happen again.

Taiwan: Falun Gong Practitioners Call for Actions to End the CCP's Atrocities

In the afternoon on April 12, Taipei practitioners rallied outside the headquarters of the Nationalist Party (KMT) to urge former KMT chair Lien Chan, who was to visit China, to pay close attention to the CCP's organ harvesting from living practitioners and to request the CCP to open all facilities used to detain practitioners for a full investigation.

Practitioners appeal outside the headquarters of the Nationalist Party

As many groups were protesting Lien's visit to China that morning, the security guard was quite stressed upon seeing practitioners in their yellow shirts. He repeatedly asked practitioners to leave. Practitioners then clarified the truth to him: Do you know that the CCP is harvesting organs from living practitioners for profit? It is happening in many places in China, and to destroy all evidence, it is now speeding up organ transplant operations to kill Falun Gong practitioners. We came here to invite Mr. Lien to join us to stop the inhuman atrocities of the CCP and rescue human lives."

Looking at the truth-clarifying materials, the security staff said that Mr. Lien was not there that day. "However, you can move closer to the main entrance as there are many reporters. You can also give your materials to persons in charge of these types of issues. I am sure that they would be happy to help pass the information along. When he led practitioners in to deliver the appeal letter, several pro-communist individuals yelled at practitioners. The guard scolded them while telling practitioners to ignore those guys. He said: "They don't know the truth."

Legislative councilman, Lin Chung-Mo said to his assistant: I will join them [Falun Gong practitioners]

When practitioners were moving toward the main entrance, some reporters waiting outside the headquarters swarmed along. They took many photos of practitioners' posters and banners. Many passing-by vehicles and pedestrians also saw practitioners' rally and accepted truth-clarifying fliers. Later, three legislative councilmen came, and they all gave thumbs up to the practitioners. One of the councilmen, Lin Chung-Mo who has been a long time supporter of Falun Gong, told his assistant: "I will join them."

He said: "People are not here just to pursue commercial interests, people should have human rights and dignity. Human rights issues should not be dodged when dealing with the CCP."

Malaysia: Authorities Yield Once Again to Pressure from the Chinese Embassy and Detain Lawfully Protesting Practitioners

On April 5, 2006, under the pressure from the Embassy of the Chinese Communist regime (CCP), the Malaysian police once again detained the practitioners protesting peacefully in front of the Embassy. A middle ranking officer told practitioners the day before that the Chinese Embassy and his boss put heavy pressure on him, and if practitioners continue to protest there, he would have to take action. Practitioners asked the officer for an opportunity to clarify the truth to his boss, but the officer told practitioners that high ranking officials would not meet with them.

To call for an end to the CCP's bloody and brutal persecution of Falun Gong, practitioners have been protesting consistently in front of the Chinese Embassy for four months. At 6:45 p.m., on April 5th, two practitioners from Malaysia came outside the Embassy as usual. In less than 15 minutes, a police officer riding a motorcycle arrived and requested practitioners to pack up and leave. The officer suspended practitioners' IDs, and asked them to come to a police department. A young police officer explained that the Chinese Embassy complained many times, and they had to follow the commands from high level.

After being detained for an hour at the police department at Dunlasa Street, the two practitioners were taken to Shiandu Police Department for further investigation. All the officers in the department are familiar with practitioners and the facts of Falun

Gong. They have explained many times that it is from high level. After five hours of waiting, the authorities decided to detain the practitioners.

On April 6th, police took the practitioners to Kuala Lumpur local court, intending to extend the detention to ten days for investigation. With the defense of the practitioners' attorney, the court finally rejected the extension request, and ordered that police should release the practitioners immediately. The two practitioners were released the same day.

According to Malaysian law, any protest of more than five people requires a legal permit. But to practitioners' previous experience there was zero possibility for approval of their application, and many times officers from police department implied that: To approve or not, it's the police's right.

In the past few months, police officers of different ranks and security guards of the Chinese Embassy kept telling practitioners that the Embassy has been putting pressure on them, and further on the District Police Department and even the National Police Department. They requested that officers stop practitioners' sending forth righteous thoughts in front of the embassy. One late afternoon in January, when the Ambassador of the CCP regime, Wang Chungui came out of the embassy and ran into practitioners sending forth righteous thoughts, personnel from the embassy soon came out and asked the police officers there to drive away the practitioners. The police officer stated that this was their right, and the police wouldn't do it. But, that evening, only few hours later, the same police officer called the practitioners and told them that they could not protest there anymore, and they would take action if the practitioners insisted. His attitude was changed in such short period of time; it can easily been seen that it was the result of pressure from the Chinese Embassy.

Practitioners indicated that they really hope that the police can clearly tell right from wrong, choose righteousness and conscience, not yield to the CCP's pressure, and not indirectly assist the CCP in blocking the truth and depriving the Malaysian people's right to know. If the police continue siding with the CCP after the exposure of the CCP's organ harvesting from living practitioners, it will be a shame in Malaysian history.

Here are some major incidents in which practitioners were taken away by police officers under the pressure from the CCP:

    1) On the evening of December 14, 2005, three practitioners protested in front of the hotel where Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao was hosting a banquet during the Asian Pacific Summit in Malaysia. The police rushed to the scene and took them to the police department. The police took down their affidavits and then released them at midnight.

    2) On the evening of February 8, 2006, four practitioners protested the CCP's persecution in front of the Chinese Embassy. Their Ids were suspended and they were requested to go to the police department near by. The police took down the practitioners' affidavits, and then released them.

    3) On the morning of February 23, 2006, three practitioners went to the Chinese Embassy in Malaysia to protest the persecution, and to deliver a letter to Ambassador Wang Chungui. While they were protesting, the police arrived and arrested them. Under the instigation from the Chinese Embassy, they were taken to the police department. The police intended to prosecute them on the charge of "Illegal Assembly." After four days of detention, the police decided to release the practitioners on the morning of February 27.
