My heart sank to the floor when I learned that Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Liu Jizhi had been illegally arrested yet again. She had suffered so much humiliation and physical trauma. After the persecutors at the Baoding City Police Department in Hebei Province vowed to find the two rape victims in order to "destroy live evidence so there is no way to verify the facts," Liu Jizhi was arrested again. The arresting agents were from the Hebei Province police, and it happened on March 7th in a laundry room inside the Xisanqi Air Force Science Research Institute complex in Haidian District, Beijing. Liu Jizhi's daughter was arrested along with her. Nothing has been heard from mother and daughter during the past dozen days.

Liu Jizhi, where are you? People are worried about you. After Gao Rongrong's disfigurement from electric shock was exposed around the world, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) arrested Gao Rongrong again and murdered her. Many Falun Gong practitioners who helped Gao Rongrong were savagely tortured and sent to labor camps. Recently, the bloody dark facts about the Sujiatun Concentration Camp have repeatedly been brought to light, and the demon nature of the CCP is now more obvious than ever. People who care about you now have even more reasons to worry about you!

Liu Jizhi, an ordinary peasant woman, became a target of the Jiang group's brutal persecution, only because she persisted in her belief in Truth-Compassion-Forbearance.

On November 24, 2005, Song Xiaobin, head of the Political and Legal Committee of Dongchengfang Town in Zhuozhou City, Hebei Province and also head of the Social Safety Comprehensive Administration Committee, along with Chai Yuqiao, deputy head of the Social Safety Comprehensive Administration Committee, led a group of police officers and arrested Liu Jizhi, Han Yuzhi and several other Falun Gong practitioners. They took the practitioners to Dongchengfang Town Police Station, beat and threatened them many times. Around 2:00 p.m. on November 25, Liu Jizhi and Han Yuzhi were raped by officer He Xuejian at Dongchengfang Town Police Station. Officer Wang Zengjun, who was lying in another bed in the same room only turned several times and watched the rape taking place without doing anything to stop it. Afterwards, Liu Jizhi, Han Yuzhi and several other Falun Gong practitioners who were arrested were each extorted out of 3,000 yuan, as a so-called "fine."

The rape of Liu Jizhi sent shockwaves through the international community. People are shocked by the barbarity and baseness of the CCP, that He Xuejian beat and raped a woman of similar age as his mother. Liu Jizhi, who was still suffering pain, said, "I hereby call on all people of conscience to pay attention to the evil crimes that happened to me. If the persecution of Falun Gong does not stop, these tragedies will continue. Right now, I am suffering from the shock of being raped. I feel foggy-minded, and my lower body is in constant pain. If I did not know from Falun Gong that suicide is a sin, I probably would have already left this world. After being raped, I lost the courage to live, and the confidence to face the world. I only hope the world's people will wake up. I wish this persecution to end soon, and hope these kinds of crimes will end soon!"

Liu Jizhi courageously stepped forward to expose the crime and helped people recognize the brutality of the wicked CCP by exposing her ordeal. People admired her courage and compassion, while the perpetrators were scared to death. From the evil CCP Central Committee, Hebei Provincial CCP Committee, Baoding City CCP Committee to the Zhuozhou City CCP Committee, the perpetrators schemed by "arresting" rapist He Xuejian due to international pressure, while in fact they protected He Xuejian. On the other hand, they posted a 100,000-yuan reward for the capture of Liu Jizhi, Han Yuzhi and witnesses Wang Helin and Qu Wenting. They also arrested many Falun Gong practitioners in Zhuozhou City and are acting without any restraint.

Liu Jizhi had to live away from home because the debased CCP officials were in pursuit of her. She was forced to endure physical, mental and psychological pain, all by herself, while worrying that the police and 610 Office agents would persecute her husband and daughter. She eventually showed symptoms of a nervous breakdown. The CCP exhausted all means and arrested Liu Jizhi on March 7.

I can't imagine what kind of brutality is awaiting Liu Jizhi, but words from her tortured heart keep ringing in my ears, "I call on all people of conscience to pay attention to the evil crimes that happened to me;" "don't let the voice of justice weaken;" "I only hope the world's people will wake up. I wish this persecution to end soon, and hope these kinds of crimes will end soon!"

Liu Jizhi, where are you now? No matter where you are, the wicked CCP has no right to persecute you. Let's call on all of the forces of justice in the world to support and rescue you!

Ms. Liu Shuhong, a Falun Gong practitioner from Shouguang City, Shandong Province, has been frequently persecuted by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) regime. She was persecuted to the point of metal collapse, and later her husband was sentenced to three years of imprisonment. During this long-term persecution, Mrs. Liu's health deteriorated further, and she finally passed away on July 25, 2005.

Mrs. Liu Shuhong, 35, from Hualongqiao Village, Hualong Town, Shouguang City, started practicing Falun Gong in 1998. After the persecution began on July 20, 1999, she was taken away along with other fellow Falun Gong practitioners by thugs led by the deputy CCP secretary of the town, and was locked in the local middle school's classroom, where Falun Gong practitioners were isolated, and deprived of sleep at night. Moreover, the persecutors confiscated practitioners' Falun Gong books and photos of Teacher and burned them. Because Mrs. Liu refused to renounce Falun Gong, she was beaten by Zhang Wenkui with a glass-framed photo of Teacher, which left a large bump on her head.

In March 2001, the local government intensified the persecution. Mrs. Liu and her husband, along with six other practitioners were illegally arrested and taken to a dark backroom of the town government, where they were subjected to brainwashing in turn by officials from the Birth Control Office, Land Administration Office, Financial Office, Food Administration Office and police station. Mrs. Liu was steadfast in safeguarding Falun Gong and subsequently was not provided any food for five days. However, she and four fellow practitioners successfully escaped from the backroom.

When she got home, the police officials could not find the practitioners who went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong, therefore they handcuffed her and shocked her using an electric baton, causing her face to turn black and blue. Finally, she was taken to Shouguang City's brainwashing class, where she was deprived of sleep, assailed by staff members of the 610 Office and forced to watch a video that slandered Teacher and Falun Gong. Under such conditions she was so traumatized that one month later Mrs. Liu Shuhong suffered a mental collapse. When she was sent back home, she sometimes laughed and sometimes cried.

In October 2001, Mrs. Liu's husband, Liu Zongshan and four fellow practitioners went to Beijing to appeal for the justice for  Falun Gong. Liu Zongshan was subsequently brutally beaten by the police in Beijing. One of his eyes became almost blind from the beating, and he could not see anything until three months later, but the police did not offer any treatment. Instead, they continued torturing him and put him in prison for a three year term. Mrs. Liu Shuhong's father, Liu Qingtian was also illegally arrested and sentenced to one year forced labor.

Therefore, Mrs. Liu had to take responsibility for the family on her own and endure the pressure from society. As a result, she developed high blood pressure and lumbago.

In August 2003, she was once again threatened by the local government when her husband was released from prison in late 2004. She was emaciated to the point of being skin and bones, and finally passed away on July 25, 2005 at the age of 35, leaving her 10 year old child alone and helpless.

This lovely family was decimated by the CCP regime like millions of others. However, "Good is Rewarded with Good and Evil Provokes Retribution" is a celestial principle. Zhang Wenkui, the person who followed the CCP regime's evil policy and brutally beat Mrs. Liu, contracted stomach cancer and nephritis, and died on July 27, 2005 after experiencing extreme pain.

As Falun Gong practitioners and their family members in Langfang City, Hebei Province, we have suffered under the bloody persecution of Jiang and the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) these past seven years. We have nowhere to seek justice in Mainland China. We want to expose and condemn the numerous crimes committed by Wang Zengli, secretary of the Langfang City Party Committee in Hebei Province, and agents from the police and National Security Bureau under his administration.

On January 27, 2006, practitioner Mr. Wang Shaoqiu from Langfang City and practitioner Li Dejun from Dachang County were illegally arrested by officers from the Xianghe County Police Department. On February 5, 2006, more than 40 practitioners from Langfang City and 38 practitioners from Dachang County went with Mr. Wang and Li Dejun's family members to appeal at the Xianghe County government. Police arrested and detained them in the Langfang Detention Center, the police department, and Dachang County Detention Center.

The Langfang City police have violated the Constitution of China by arresting and detaining many practitioners without a definitive term limit. Article 41 of the Constitution states, "Citizens of the People's Republic of China have the right to criticize and make suggestions to any state organ or functionary." The Regulations on Complaint Reporting by the State Council also confirmed this right of Chinese citizens. The police and National Security Bureau agents in Langfang City have violated the law and basic human rights.

Shi Zhimin said, "I heard that my friend Mr. Wang Shaoqiu had been arrested although he did not commit a crime. On February 5, 2006, I went to Xianghe County to ask about him. The police arrested me. I said, 'An innocent person was illegally arrested. As his friend, I'm inquiring to the government about him. What law did I violate? A while back, I was brutally tortured at the Mengzhou City Detention Center in Henan Province. I'm still very weak and the bedsores on my tailbone still have not healed.

"The guards refused to listen to me but instead they pushed me into a car. I struggled to get out of the car. They used force to keep me inside. My head hit something and I lost consciousness. After they drove me to Guangyang District Police Department in Langfang City, I was handcuffed and locked in a prisoner's chair. I was not allowed to eat, sleep, talk, or use the restroom. I clarified the truth to them, and Gao Chenggang, head of the National Security Group, slapped my face and mouth until I bled and my teeth loosened. I have difficulty eating even now. They poured boiling water on my face and the water ran down my neck. I had blisters on my mouth and my chest hurt from the hot water. They also wrapped my head in a padded jacket and said many times that they would kill me. In the afternoon on February 6, I was sent to Langfang City Detention Center. I went on a hunger strike to protest the persecution. I lost consciousness on February 12, and I was released the next day. Within a week, on February 19, the police arrested me again and sent me to the Huakang Brainwashing Center. They didn't let me sleep and persecuted me mentally. In the evening on February 22, Teacher protected me and I escaped with righteous thoughts although many police officers were watching me."

On March 7, 2006, officers from the Guangyang District Police Department arrested Ms. Shi Zhimin's daughter, Shi Dongyan. Ms. Shi Zhimin and her husband went to the police department and asked for their daughter. The couple were illegally detained and sent to a brainwashing center.

Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Yang Jianpo was tied to a metal chair at the Guangyang District Police Department. His wife, Nie Chunling, and his daughter went to ask for him and were savagely beaten by officer Xin Pingyu and others. His wife became unconscious and was taken home by her family. She could not take care of herself for a long time.

On February 13 and 14, Mr. Yang was taken to the Kaiping Forced Labor Camp in Tangshan City. He didn't pass the physical exam and the labor camp refused to accept him. He was sent to the Shijiazhuang Forced Labor Camp and still didn't pass the physical exam. He was taken back to the Langfang Detention Center, where he has been held until now, because the agitators want to continue to persecute him. He has been on a hunger strike for over a month and is extremely weak. On March 12, Guangyang District Police Department agents issued an arrest order for Yang Jianpo's family [about the arrest of Yang Jianpo] and tried to sentence him to prison.

In July 2004, more than 20 officers from Anci District Police Department's National Security Group in Langfang City arrested me. Those responsible included Liu Wei, Dong Hui and Yang Baoyin from Beishiwu Township. They sent me to the Kaiping Forced Labor Camp in Tangshan City to be mistreated and punished. I was physically and mentally abused for 16 months. I was beaten and verbally assaulted and suffered other corporal punishments. They didn't let me sleep, tied me to a metal chair, force-fed me, and forced me to fingerprint certain documents.

I wrote "guarantee statements" to renounce Falun Gong against my conscience. After I wrote the guarantee statements I had a relapse of asthma and could not take care of myself. On February 5, 2006, officers Liu Wei, Dong Hui and the Beishiwu Township deputy police chief took me to the township police department, where the officers subjected me to a body search and took more than 100 yuan from me. They slapped my face and held my hand and forced me to fingerprint a document. They also handcuffed me to a chair. On the evening of February 6 I was sent to the city detention center. Doctor Chen saw that I had a terrible cough and I had asthma, but he did not make this known during the physical exam, which resulted in me having to stay at the detention center. At the detention center I was so sick that I could not eat or sleep. The police sent me to the Kaiping Forced Labor Camp in Tangshan City. The labor camp refused to admit me. I was sent back to the detention center. My condition deteriorated and I was released only after my family requested it.

Practitioner Mr. Cao Baoyu was arrested and taken to Dachang County on February 5, 2006. The police beat and kicked him, threatened and cursed him, and violently slapped his face. He bled from his nose and mouth, his teeth loosened, and blood vessels in his nose burst. They tied him to a metal chair and continued to beat him. Mr. Cao broke free with the power of his righteous thoughts a few days later. Nevertheless, the officials took him to the Langfang Brainwashing Center on February 19. He is now holding a hunger strike to protest the persecution.

III. Arrested practitioners sent to a brainwashing center to be mentally tormented

During this arrest, practitioner Shi Yongping was sentenced to two years of forced labor; Wang Fenghai was sentenced to one year of forced labor; and Yang Jianpo was not accepted by the labor camp but is still held at the detention center. Most of the other practitioners, including Cao Baoyu, Zhou Xiuzhen, Zhang Ruihua, Zhang Fengde, Li Shuhong and Shi Yuling, were sent to the Langfang Brainwashing Center. They are now holding a hunger strike. At the brainwashing center, about four people monitor each practitioner and do not let him sleep. They mentally torment the practitioners.

Because of Jiang's group and the Chinese Communist Party's genocidal persecution against practitioners, in the past few years, many people wrote guarantee statements against their better judgment and later died from illnesses.

Practitioners Ms. Liu Yajie and Ms. Wan Yaqin from Langfang City have been trapped in their homes since February 19, 2006, because the police have surrounded their homes. They refuse to let the police take them away, so they refuse to open the door. The police are on a stakeout outside their homes 24 hours a day. Their other family members cannot live a normal life, either. The police also threatened to cut off water and electricity to these practitioners' homes.

At 9:00 p.m. on February 5, 2006, officials from the Beishiwu Township Police Department and from the Beishiwu Township government ransacked practitioner Mr. Shi Yongping's home. His family refused to open the door. The police climbed over the wall and barged into the home. About a dozen police officers carried out this act. They videotaped the inside of the home, took Falun Gong books, exercise tapes, an incense burner, and Teacher's pictures.

Around 6:00 p.m. on February 5, 2006, village official Chen Futian led Liu Weihua, deputy head of the local police department, and more than 10 other officials to ransack the home of practitioner Wang Jianhua. They videotaped the home and arrested 10 practitioners who were present. They body-searched the practitioners and took their money and private belongings but did not issue any receipts. On the morning of February 6, they ransacked the homes of practitioners Su Meilan and Guo Shuxin and took Falun Gong books and a poster.

Practitioner Mr. Zhang Lizhi had his home ransacked three times during one evening. It is not know what was taken.

Practitioners Wang Fenghai and Cao Ruitang also had their homes ransacked. Their Falun Gong books were taken.

Practitioner Wang Shaoqiu's mother-in-law, Wei Wenchun, had her home ransacked and was taken into police custody. Her Falun Gong books, recorder and printer were confiscated.

The police ransacked dozens of practitioners' homes. They went through everything and acted like burglars. They extorted money at the same time that they turned the practitioners' homes upside down.

It is known right now that the following six practitioners have been sent to labor camp(s): Shi Yongping, Wang Fenghai, Wang Jianhua, Zhang Xiucun, Zhang Hongjuan and Wang Guizhi. Several other practitioners were sent to labor camps but were not accepted. They are still being held at detention center(s).

The above is an account of acts of illegal activities against Falun Gong practitioners at the hands of the Langfang City police and National Security Bureau agents. Wang Zengli, Langfang City Party secretary, encouraged and condoned these crimes.

Practitioner Lin Xiaoquan from the Number 6 Group of Qingshi Village, Xinnong Town, Xinfan Town, Xindu District, Chengdu City, Sichuan Province, was arrested by local police on July 27, 2005, and released on July 31. After Lin Xiaoquan gradually recovered, people from the Xindu District 610 Office and the Xinfan Town local police station broke into Lin's home again and arrested Lin.

Lin Xiaoquan was illegally imprisoned in Chengdu Detention Center and the Xindu Detention Center, where Lin suffered brutal torture from beatings and other cruel methods of torture. Lin's body and psychological state were seriously damaged. At present, Lin Xiaoquan is illegally imprisoned in Xindu District Detention Center.

On the night of June 29, 2005, when Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Yang Congqing and another practitioner were distributing truth clarification materials, they were arrested and imprisoned in Xindu District Detention Center. In the detention center, Mr. Yang was forced to wear shackles and handcuffs. Mr. Yang couldn't stand up straight nor could he put on or take off his clothing. The responsible policeman, Zhang Hui, pressured Mr. Yang by telling him if he didn't write a guarantee statement, if he continued to tell others about Falun Gong, or if he didn't write a repentance letter, they would not unlock the shackles and handcuffs, and they would imprison him indefinitely.

When practitioner Ms. Huang Xiangling from Mulan Town in the Xindu District hung a truth clarification banner, she was arrested by the police and sent to the detention center, from which she was twice taken away and persecuted by officers from the Sanhe Police Station. They didn't let her sleep and forced her to wear shackles and handcuffs. Her legs became black from bruising and swelled to the width of her pants from the beatings. Her hands were handcuffed to a stool. The handcuffs cut into her flesh. A month latter the detention center authorities signed a release card, but the Xindu District Mulan Town government and police station wouldn't let her leave and imprisoned her in the police station. Ms. Huang escaped with her righteous thoughts, but since then she has had to become homeless and can't return home. In the past year, the authorities have continuously and illegally harassed Ms. Huang's family and threatened them, saying that if they caught her, they would sentence her to prison for six or seven years. Under such intense pressure, Ms. Huang's mother in-law and husband both became sick and thin due to constant worry.

Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Wang Xiuhua from the Xindu District began to practice Falun Gong in 1997 and entered a state of good health and peace of mind. Her relationship with her family also became harmonious. After July 20,1999, when the persecution started, Ms. Wang and her fellow practitioners went to Beijing to appeal in 2000. In Tiananmen Square where there were a lot of police, she was arrested just because she acknowledged she was a practitioner. Ms. Wang was sent back to a local detention center and "illegally detained" for 15 days.

In November 2000, when Ms. Wang was clarifying the truth, she was again detained and imprisoned for 15 days. During the New Year's holiday, local town government officials and police from the local police station illegally arrested her from her home, took her to the detention center, and imprisoned her for one month. After Jiang Zemin's political rogue gang created the staged "self-immolation" incident, the CCP detained her for another 15 days. On October 25, 2002, Ms. Wang Xiuhua was arrested from her home and taken to a local brainwashing center by the town government and local police. In the center they tried to force practitioners to give up their belief in Falun Gong. Ms. Wang was illegally imprisoned for five months and suffered inhuman torture. At the end of 2003, the town government and local police came again and took her away from her home to the notorious Xinjin Brainwashing Center, imprisoning and persecuting her for one month.

Since the 2006 Chinese New Year, the Mudanjiang City Prison's Eighth District wardens, Zhang Shengli, Wu Xuejun and Song Junpiao have intensified the persecution of the illegally incarcerated Falun Gong practitioners. These wardens are persecuting Falun Gong under the direction of Tang Xiaohui, head warden of the Eighth District, and Chen Zhanfeng, the political instructor.

On February 17, 2006, Song Junpiao, leader of the third squadron, demanded that Falun Gong practitioner Huang Guodong, who is over 60, perform intensive labor. Huang refused Song's demand, so Song ordered inmate Cheng Yonghe to forcibly drag Huang to a corner in the prison sweatshop. Falun Gong practitioners Guan Wenlong, Liu Tieren, Liu Jun, Xu Xiangdong, Zhang Shijiang, and Shen Jinxiang were also forcibly dragged to this corner. Song and Cheng did not allow these practitioners to talk.

At 8:00 a.m. on February 22, jail warden Wu Xuejun brutally assaulted Falun Gong practitioner Xu Xiangdong, when the latter showed up for forced labor. Wu then threatened to put Mr. Xu in solitary confinement for his refusal to sign the so-called repentance statement. Wu failed to make Xu Xuejun renounce his belief in Falun Gong.

In the afternoon, Wu abused Falun Gong practitioner Liu Tieren, who was illegally put into the third prison squadron. Wu also ordered jail warden Li Xiaowei to abuse Falun Gong practitioner Zhang Shijiang. Wu threatened to have these practitioners stand upright for eleven hours continuously every day.

On February 23, jail warden Song put practitioner Huang Guodong in solitary confinement, because Huang refused to perform the forced labor.

Falun Gong practitioner Guan Wenlong refused to perform any forced labor. The prison's policy, known as the chain of responsibility, assigns inmates to practitioners, and whenever a practitioner refuses to submit to persecution, the associated inmate will also be blamed. Inmate Guan Zhenli, who is in charge of Guan Wenlong, feared that Wenlong would not submit to persecution, so Guan brutally assaulted Wenlong. The beating disfigured Wenlong's face and severely bruised his back, shoulders, and arms. Wenlong's body became swollen due to the beating.

On the morning of February 23, jail wardens Chen Zhanfeng and Wu Xuejun used electric batons to beat practitioner Guan Wenlong in the sweatshop office. These wardens also deprived Wenlong of any sleep. Wu also used an awl to poke holes in Guan Wenlong's back and right leg. At noon, the wardens denied Wenlong lunch and beat him in the bathroom. They did not release Wenlong until all other inmates had finished eating. Wenlong's face was bloody and swollen.

On the morning of February 24, jail wardens Wu Xuejun and Liu Bo used electric batons to beat practitioner Liu Jun. Liu's hands were severely injured. These wardens were not satisfied with the result, so they dragged Liu into the bathroom and resumed the beating with electric batons and rubber clubs. After over 60 minutes of beating, Liu Bo had to be carried out of the bathroom by two inmates. He could neither walk nor move his waist. His right leg turned lame.

On February 25, warden Wu started torturing practitioners as soon as he came to work. Wu used an awl to stab Guan Wenlong again and tortured him in the bathroom for half an hour. In the same morning, practitioner Zhang Shijiang refused to perform the forced labor, so wardens Zhang Shengli and Cheng Zhanfeng used four electric batons to beat him until the batteries were depleted. Zhang Lijiang's heart almost stopped beating due to the electric shocks, and his whole body convulsed. Mr. Zhang suffered excruciating pain. He had to be carried back to the cell by other inmates, yet wardens dragged Zhang back to the sweatshop the very next day.

On February 24, Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Ye Hongmei was illegally arrested. The agents were officers from the Xihe District Police Department National Security Group in Fuxin City, Liaoning Province. She was taken to Fuxin City and illegally detained at the Xindi Detention Center in Fuxin City. It was learned that the perpetrators are planning to sentence her to two years of forced labor.

Around July 20, 2005, a forced "Joining the CCP" activity was conducted in the Seventh Ward of the Wanjia Forced Labor Camp. The Seventh Ward head Zhang Bo (male) forced everyone to write an application letter, but this caused strong resistance by detained Falun Gong practitioners and non-practitioners as well. Zhang Bo put pressure on all the guards, then the guards tortured every detainee, subjecting even older and illiterate detainees to brainwashing. The guards prepared the application letters, then forced everyone to sign their names.

The guards in the Seventh Ward periodically force Falun Gong practitioners to fill out questionnaires that slander Falun Gong and Master Li. Whoever refuses is locked in a small cell (1), and subjected to physical torture and forced brainwashing.

From June to August 2005, ward head Zhang Bo and Yang Hong (female) tortured practitioners many times by forcing them to do military training after lunch, baking under the sun for more than an hour, while they hide in the shade. One snowy day in December 2004, Yang Hong led practitioners to do military training more than one hour in the snow, and forced practitioners over 60 years old to share their experiences after the torture.

The guards in the Seventh Ward forced Falun Gong practitioners to take turns staying awake during the night, with each shift lasting one hour and twenty minutes. Practitioners could not rest well, including practitioners over 60, and nearly 70 years old. None of the practitioners were allowed to nap during the day. They had to labor from 5:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Liu Shuzhen, 50, was sentenced to three years of forced labor. She was sent to the Thirteenth Ward of Wanjia Forced Labor Camp in 2005. She used to be very healthy, but just because she refused to write the three statements, she was tortured by being cuffed to the bed in an awkward position so that she could not stand up or sit down for seven days. She could not walk after this torture. The camp administration still refused to release her under such circumstances.

(1) Small cell - The detainees are locked up alone in very small cells. The guards handcuff practitioners behind their backs in a fixed position, in which the practitioners can neither move nor lie down. The small cell is very damp and no sunshine comes in. Detainees have to urinate and defecate in the cell. Only half of a regular meal is served to detainees who are locked up in small cells during the daytime. During the night rats run around. The stench in the small cell is so bad that it is difficult to breathe.

1. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Policemen Plan Systematic Rental Housing Check

In the past several days, policemen in Jilin City have told TV reporters that they will check rental housings one by one in Jilin City. If there are residents from out of town staying more than one month, they are required to register at the Police Station. That their actual purpose is to destroy Falun Gong material centers and find all practitioners who have left their homes to avoid being arrested.

On May 20, 2005, Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Hao Fukui (70 years old) from Jilin Province was temporarily staying at his daughter's home in Cuizhu Neighborhood, Development District, Dalian City, Liaoning Province. More than twenty local policemen and 610 Office personnel broke down his daughter's door, stormed into her home with a video camera, guns and electric batons, ransacked the house, and arrested Mr. Hao. Mr. Hao Fukui has been detained and tortured for nine months without any family visitation allowed. His life is in danger.

On February 27, 2006, Mr. Hao Fukui was sent to room 407 of the Third District Hospital. His family members became very worried after learning this. On March 1, they hurried to the hospital to visit him, but encountered conflicts with policemen on the way. Mr. Hao Fukui was sent back to the District Detention Center. Three family members who went to visit him were arrested and detained at the same place.

On February 26, 2006, Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Yin Haizhu was arrested and detained in the Hegang City Second Detention Center by policemen from the Hegang City Department and Labor and the Gongneng District Department. Right now, he is being interrogated day and night, starting at 7:00 a.m.

Falun Gong practitioners Mr. Guo Baoshi and Ms. Chen Xiu, etc., from Shenyang City have gone missing. Ms. Chen Xiu was tortured during the CCP persecution, and was forced to appear on the "Focus Interview" program on CCTV to defame Falun Gong. After becoming clear-headed, Ms. Chen Xiu had the courage to expose the evil; therefore, she became a target for torture.

Policemen in Shenyang City searched all rental houses, either by physically searching door to door, or by following the rental companies' name lists. If rental residents did not want to open the door, policemen would order a locksmith to open it or use a master key to break in. If the rental resident was not a Falun Gong practitioner nor had committed any illegal actions, they still had to pay a break-in fee.

Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Li Hai (30 years old) was employed by the Treaty Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Mr. Li Hai was forced to become destitute and homeless in 2001, to avoid being arrested at home. According to a reliable source, Mr. Li Hai was arrested by policemen of the Beijing City Department in 2003. No one knows whether or not he is still alive, due to sealed information channels.

On June 3, 2002, Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Wang Hongge from Changchun City was sentenced to thirteen years in prison by the Nan'guan District Court of Changchun City. He has been in prison for five years. Mr.Wang Hongge has been severely tortured both mentally and physically over the past five years. Held in the 11^th Ward, Mr. Wang Hongge and fellow practitioners refused to cooperate with the evil, have been brutally force-fed, and are in critical condition. In January 2006, we heard that he is suffering from a fever and has difficulty to urinate, among other symptoms. He has been held in the Prison Hospital. His family has requested many times to bail him out on medical parole, but the Prison Administration never approves the request.

On March 6, 2006, Mr. Wang Hongge's family found Office Head Wang (gender unknown) through the Prison Appeals Office. They claimed that the Prison Administration deprived Mr. Wang Hongge's right to appeal, and would not allow his family members to talk about appealing with him when visiting. Officer Wang said the family could appeal outside the prison. Wang Hongge's family members said the visitation room posted that family members are allowed to bring books, clothes, food, etc. to prisoners, but that Falun Gong practitioners' family members are not allowed to bring anything. Officer Wang said, "You have to follow the prison's rules." Guards would not allow Mr. Wang Hongge to hold his baby or touch his baby's hands during visitation. Officer Wang said, "Why must you touch the baby's hands? There are many Falun Gong practitioners who are not allowed to be visited!" Mr. Wang Hongge's family asked to read the regulations or relevant documents, but Officer Wang said they were being unreasonable.

Recently, the Baotou City Government, 610 Office, Education System, and Neighborhood Administration initiated another round of activity among schools and communities, called "Emphasis on Science, Family Care, Treasuring Lives, Anti-Cult." This activity fanned hatred and slandered Falun Gong, ruining children's consciences, damaging children's ability to distinguish good and evil, and turning schools into political persecution grounds.

The schools sent each student home with an open letter, and required parents to sign their names. Some parents who have learned the truth are very disturbed by such poisoning activities. They refused to sign their names, or return the letter.

After the 2006 Chinese New Year (January 29, 2006), Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Yu Chenglan's employer, Zhangjiakou City Measurement Factory, tried to notify all retired employees to fill out medical insurance papers, but they failed to find Ms. Yu Chenglan. We heard around November 20, 2005 that Ms. Yu Chenglan and her daughter Ning Yinong were secretly arrested by policemen of Beijing City from their temporary accommodations in Beijing City. They have already been transferred and are detained right now, but no one knows where they are being held.

On March 10, 2006, Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Zhang Chunsheng from Tonghua City was arrested by three policemen from the Dongchang District Department. He is detained at the Changliu Detention Center. Many practitioners have been harassed by policemen at their homes recently.

Recently, the Jilin Province Police Department and local stations have hired unemployed people to form a security patrol team. They are on the streets 24 hours a day and arrest Falun Gong practitioners who are clarifying the truth. At the same time, the neighborhood administrations have hired people who are living on welfare to closely monitor Falun Gong practitioners, and check every hallway of apartment buildings for truth clarifying materials.

Starting at the end of February 2006, they strengthened the evening 6:00-10:00 p.m. shift, and the policemen from the local police stations told these patrollers clearly, "Arrest Falun Gong practitioners."

Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Gong Baofeng is an employee of the Second Machinery Factory located in Zhigang District, Yantai City. Her employer was once told to go to Beijing City to pick her up, but there has been no further information.

Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Du Guizhi is an employee of the Changchun Train Manufacture Plant. She was sentenced to one year of forced labor at the end of 2005, but her young child has been left alone since her husband died. She is now detained in the Third Ward of Heizuizi Labor Camp.

At around 9:00 a.m. on March 1, 2006, ten National Security Agents from Jinzhou City Police Department called Falun Gong practitioner Li Xin (gender unknown) to make sure someone was in the house, and then hung up the phone. They reached Li Xin's home, but did not knock on the door. They pulled out the electricity plugs, then stormed into the house when Li Xin came out to check on the plugs. They ransacked the place, took two DVD burners, computers, and Falun Gong materials, filling two vehicles. They also stole a bank certificate worth more than three hundred thousand yuan. They said, "We have been hiding around your place for more than two months." They were holding a blacklist of names.

Ning Yaoliang (male) is the principal of Fu'an Middle School, located in Zhigang District, Yantai City. He has repeatedly required students to sign their names to slander Falun Gong, and has done so recently. When Falun Gong practitioners clarified the truth to students before, they could accept the facts, but now some students run away when they hear the truth.

The Lijiaoqiao Elementary School (in Zhigang District) Principal Sun Hansong (male), and Curriculum Director Shen Yuansong (male) also spread lies to students. Students in Xiangfa Elementary School (also in Zhigang District) have also been poisoned by fabricated propaganda.

Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Zhao Shuyun is 45 years old and lives near Sichuan Street Fruit Cellar in Jilin City. She is an employee of the Jilin City Railroad Construction Company. She is divorced and has a daughter to take care of. In 2005, Ms. Zhao Shuyun was brutally beaten by Jilin City National Security Agents, and her home was ransacked. She was sentenced to one year forced labor, and is now being cruelly tortured in the Sixth Ward of Heizuizi Labor Camp in Changchun City.

Recently, the Jilin Province Police Department and local stations have hired unemployed people to form a security patrol team. They are on the streets 24 hours a day and arrest Falun Gong practitioners who are clarifying the truth. More than four hundred people have been hired in Dongfeng County, each receiving 200-300 yuan per month in salary. Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Zhao Chunmei was arrested on the evening of March 7, 2006, when clarifying the truth. She is now detained in the Dongfeng County Detention Center.

Recently, large quantities of flyers and cartoon strips that slander Falun Gong appeared in every neighborhood and elementary school of Beidaihe District. These are all produced by Haiyan Advertising Company, and they are distributed to each student and each household.

On the morning of March 2, 2006, five female and one male plain-clothed police officers knocked on the door of Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Liao Yiping's home. The male police officer held a tool, and told her they were plumbers to check the pipes. Ms. Liao trusted them, and opened the door. These six officers ransacked her home as soon as she opened the door, took Falun Gong books and truth clarification materials, and arrested Ms. Liao Yiping. Ms. Liao's husband came home and tried to stop the arrest, but these officers refused to listen to the truth. They dragged Ms. Liao into their vehicle while she was shouting, "Falun Dafa is good! Truthfulness, Benevolence and Forbearance are good!"

On the morning of March 5, 2006, the daughter (non-practitioner) of an elderly Falun Gong practitioner was at home with her child. Three policemen stormed into their house at around 10:00 a.m., showed their IDs, and then ransacked the place. They took all Falun Gong materials and went to look for the elderly lady (at her other living place).

A few miles west of Linyi Bus Station, and one thousand feet east of the Petroleum Collecting Fourth Mine Building, there is a banner slandering Falun Gong posted on the wall of a business building.

On March 10, 2006, the lunch hour news of Guangdong TV broadcast the Guangzhou City government's plan to use three billion yuan on 250 thousand video cameras to monitor public places, such as bus stations, boat harbors, traffic intersections, streets, banks, markets, important areas, and boundaries between the city and the countryside 24 hours a day.

Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Zhang Hongwei is detained in the 10^th Ward of Jilin Province Prison. He is in the hospital with severe tuberculosis, and his chest contains a lot of water.

Ever since July 20, 1999, the Qianfeng Farm Police Department 610 Office Policemen Li Jianguo (male), Feng Ping (male), and Zhang Zhitian (male) have actively joined in the persecution of Falun Gong. They broke into practitioners' homes, took their materials, and forced them to sign their names and pay fines. They took practitioners' personal belongings without following any legal procedures, and cursed at and insulted practitioners with evil means. They have arrested and detained more than ten practitioners in the past six years.

When they ransacked an elderly female practitioner's home, they threatened to kill her and she was deeply traumatized. They also detained a young practitioner for more than a month, and forced him to leave home to avoid further arrest, leaving his elderly parents without proper care.

The National Security Agent Wang Runlong of the Donggang City Police Department burned some discs that contain video recordings of Falun Gong practitioners passing out truth clarifying materials, recorded by Donggang City Traditional Medicine Hospital's monitoring system. He plans to send these discs to all community administrations as a "focus" for attack. Some kind-hearted folks have revealed his evil plan to Falun Gong practitioners.

Starting on February 13, 2006, the 4^th Ward established a study class - "Second Strict Monitoring Class." Falun Gong practitioners can only use the washroom once between 7:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. and a second time between noon and 4:30 p.m. Practitioners are forced to sit on benches facing the wall (1).

Also, Falun Gong practitioners and long-term prisoners with illness are formed into another class with a shorter time period, but still sitting on benches from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., then 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

On April 22, 2005, Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Xu Xinmu was arrested by the Harbin City Railroad Police Department on his way to visit his hometown. He has been sentenced to three years of forced labor, and has been held in the Changlinzi Labor Camp for nearly one year. He is in critical condition with symptoms of a stroke and high blood pressure of 130 to 250 mm.

At the beginning of March 2006, National Security Agents and 610 Office Policemen from Huangshi City and Daye City were chasing after Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Feng Zhigang again. They forced Mr. Feng Zhigang's father to look for him in vain for two days. He was bailed out on medical parole on December 30, 2005, but was harassed constantly, so he had to leave home to avoid further arrest.

Since July 20, 1999, Mr. Feng Zhigang has suffered long-term mistreatment because he refused to give up the practice. He went to Beijing many times to appeal for the justice for  the Fa, clarifying the truth. He was detained four times, sentenced to forced labor twice, forced to attend a brainwashing class once, and he lived under house arrest for several months. His life was in danger in 2002 when he was held in Shizishan Labor Camp in Wuhan City because he refused to give up his faith. The guards let his family pick him up to avoid being responsible for his death. His family had to send him to the hospital. The policemen from Daye City kept harassing him in the hospital, causing his condition to worsen. The doctors had to take out three of his ribs in surgery. The operation fee of hundreds of thousands of yuan created huge financial difficulties for his family.

Huadian City Detention Center Head Zhang Tiefeng (male) has been actively involved in the persecution of Falun Gong since July 20, 1999. Under his direction, countless Falun Gong practitioners have been detained, and many of them were tortured to near death. Some family members could not recognize their relatives (practitioners) after only one month in detention. The cell conditions are very bad. Reliable sources revealed that Zhang Tiefeng is under investigation by upper levels.

Recently, 610 Office Policemen and National Security Agents of Benxi City Police Department are conducting a new round of persecution. They are stalking and forming a network to monitor practitioners, and ransack every Falun Gong practitioner's home, destroying their materials.

On around March 8, 2006, Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Zhu Danjuan (53 years old, lives in East City Government, Huancui District, Weihai City) was reported and arrested while clarifying the truth in Minzhu Lane. Her home was ransacked on the same evening. She is now detained in Weihai City Detention Center.

On around February 20, 2006, Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Yang Yuhui (in her 50s, lives in Deyang City) returned to Meishan City to visit family. She went to fellow practitioner Ms. Wan's hometown in the countryside with Ms. Wan, and clarified the truth, persuading people to withdraw from the CCP and its organizations. They were reported. Ms. Wan was arrested after returning to Meishan City two weeks ago. On around March 9, 2006, Ms. Yang Yuhui was arrested at her sister's home in Dongpo District Procuratorate Family Housing. She is now detained in Dongpo District Detention Center.

Every day, practitioners put their hands on top of their laps, with backs straight, and sitting on benches 18 hours per day. This continued for over fifty days. The authorities even limited practitioners' restroom use time. Because of the long time spent sitting on hard benches, practitioners' buttocks developed sores that hurt badly. Practitioners could not even urinate normally because of the pain. Because the labor camp was very damp, the police would not allow practitioners to have air ventilation or the chance to get some sunlight, and practitioners were locked up for so long, they developed scabies that were extremely itchy and painful.
