Wang Xinglei, male, 35 years old, lived in Taohuayu No 3 village, Tuanlin Township, Chu-nan County, and worked in the local phosphate fertilizer factory. In April 2001, he was forced to flee from his home to avoid persecution. At the end of August he attended the Experience Sharing Conference held in Taiquan County, Henan Province. At the conclusion of the conference, he was arrested by the police for unknown reasons and lost contact with other practitioners. On September 10, 2001, the Yanggu County Police notified Wang's family of his death, and asked them to identify his body.
