At present, for
every disciple both inside and outside of China, clarifying the truth of
Falun Gong to people around the world is the most important task in "assisting
the teacher in the human world".
Looking
at the Persecution of Falun Gong from
the Perspective of Jiang Zemin's Character History
will be our proof The
ancients had a saying that those who steal fish hooks are thieves, but those who
steal, or usurp, the throne become kings. This
is how Jiang Zemin came to be perched on the emperor's throne, but he hasn't
been able to change his nature just because he has managed to obtain this high
station. The people of China are embarrassed by his pretentiousness and his need
to show off his very superficial talents at every turn.
Jiang's incompetence in politics, economics, the military, development,
reform, legislation, and education along with his inability to improve people's
lives, while at the same time spending the people's money to establish his
legacy, have led to widespread disappointment both in China and abroad.
Over the past year, he has single-handedly initiated, directed, and
forcibly implemented this frenzied persecution against Falun Gong, and it has
fully exposed the deceitful, sinister, and ruthless nature of the man. Why
must he oppress Falun Gong? What
kind of darkness in his heart would cause him to do such a thing?
There appear to have been three developmental stages in his psyche:
First
stage: Unbridled crackdown
triggered by jealousy During
the Zongnanhai incident on April 25th, 1999, the forthrightness and
magnanimity of the Dafa practitioners and their trust in their government, along
with the level-headedness, tolerance, understanding, and prompt handling of the
situation by the Chinese Premier set an
example of peace and rationality unprecedented in the history of the People's
Republic of China (PRC). Both
parties won praise and respect from the international community.
This could have been a great achievement indicating the rise of morality
and selflessness of the Chinese people. It
could have been a case of the Chinese government using action to test its legal
reforms to allow the laws to develop in a healthy manner.
It would have also been a giant step in the direction of catching up with
the rest of the world, gradually entering into a more peaceful and positive
phase of development, respectful of human rights and self-reliant. Amidst
the praise from various sectors and various nations for the restraint shown by
Falun Gong and the Chinese premier's open mindedness for the April 25th
incident, Jiang's jealousy flared up because there were so many things about it
that were intolerable to him. On
this national area of 9.6 million square kilometers, regardless of whether it is
the most advanced nation, no policy and no law could have achieved what Falun
Gong did -- in just seven short years, successfully bringing about improvement
in the morality and the health of tens of millions of people.
Just based on this point, a magnanimous leader would have respected it to
no end, but someone like Jiang would, of course, be consumed with jealously. To
affirm April 25th is to affirm the awakening of the people and that
other state officials are handling it correctly. To affirm April 25th is to respect the state of
the nation and affirm the right of the people to freedom of faith and their own
choice. To affirm April 25th
is to recognize a moral authority and strength of the will of the people that
transcends political parties and policies.
Affirming April 25th will objectively take another step toward
reform and opening up the nation, developing civil society, and further foster
Chinese tradition. Unfortunately,
Jiang Zemin doesn't know that all of this is a historical inevitability.
He is unable to come up with anything substantive that actually benefits
the people and the nation. If he
could have just sat quietly and not done too much, then the nation would have
very naturally become more peaceful. His
position would have been solid and the people would have trusted him.
However, his jealousy wouldn't allow him to accept this very normal
course of events, so under the circumstances, everything he does can only go in
the opposite direction of the history. As
such, the accolades and recognition that the various departments of the
government had once showered upon Falun Gong were denied, the handling of the
situation by the Premier was shunted aside, the trust of the people was
betrayed, wicked people were placed in leadership positions, government agencies
were made fools of and toyed with, the nation is in a shambles, but Jiang
Zemin's jealousy was satisfied. From
now on, for anyone who dares to do something that Jiang Zemin doesn't allow and
for any official who dares to defy Jiang's command, the thousands upon thousands
of Falun Gong practitioners who have been thrown into a living hell and are
enduring unspeakable tortures will be your role models.
Jiang Zemin has built his dictatorship upon the suffering of millions. Narrow-mindedness
and jealousy are what political figures should abstain from.
The actions triggered by jealousy are often tinged with frenzy and
hysteria because those actions are precisely a display of the person's demonic
nature. He had been assuring the
people and promising that the masses would not be oppressed, that he always
supported the people seeking health and fitness.
But then, after covertly preparing for a few months, he suddenly cast a
dark net of terror. At this time,
however, the Jiang Zemin who had become as crazed as a leader of demons didn't
stop to remember one thing: those who have the Truth cannot be defeated, and they cannot
be destroyed. Stage
2: Cruel dictatorship caused by fear Jiang
Zemin originally thought that all those old men and old ladies who stretch their
arms and legs doing Falun Gong exercises were just insignificant everyday
citizens under his rule and that it wouldn't take much to crush them.
Who knew, however, that the past year's events would show him that things
can go against his will not only in China -- Falun Dafa banners continue to be
boldly unfurled on Tiananmen Square and some policemen and criminals in prisons
have been moved to become good people -- but the number of practitioners has
also rapidly increased abroad and the condemnation of the persecution by the
international community is growing louder and louder.
Wherever Jiang Zemin goes, the peaceful appeals of Falun Gong
practitioners will appear in front of him; wherever Jiang Zemin goes, he is a
barbarian in the eyes of journalists and world leaders.
Even
though Jiang Zemin, caught up as he is by his jealousy, dares not face the
reality, certainly he must think about how he will be leaving behind a tainted
name for centuries to come. He was
so narrow-minded that he even thought that the only way to solve the problem was
to have all Falun Dafa practitioners locked up in Jiang's hell on earth.
Jealousy leads to narrow-mindedness.
Jealousy is often accompanied by fear, and extreme fear often leads to
frenzied brutality. Jiang has all of these.
All kinds of evil characteristics have gathered onto the person of Jiang
Zemin, arousing even more malicious innate abilities. He said that he would “destroy the reputations of Falun
Gong practitioners, bankrupt practitioners financially, eradicate Falun Gong
physically,” foregoing all pretense of legality and science.
He even wanted to secretly have practitioners executed. Tens
of millions of good people have been fired from jobs or expelled from schools,
or forced to leave their homes with their families broken, or sent to mental
hospitals and detention centers and tortured… At one point, the demons had
come out and the evil was like a dark cloud pressing down. Then the reality that more than 50 practitioners had been
killed under the persecution, and that tens of thousands had been captured and
detained, came to light. The
charade of economic prosperity and flashy diplomatic tactics can no longer cover
up the terror of the labor re-education camps and the hideousness of the
oppressors. If there are those of
this age who don't understand what tyranny is, then please take a look at
today's China that is under the rule of Jiang Zemin; if there are those who
don't know what evil is, then please take a look at a photograph of Jiang Zemin.
At the same time, if there are those who don't know what righteousness in
the world is, please look into what it is that Dafa practitioners cannot give up
even under this campaign of terror; if there are those who don't know what
kindness and compassion are, take a look at those whips, shackles, electric
prods, chili powder, and salt slush (used for force feeding) and then at those
peaceful, fearless, and indomitable practitioners whom even death cannot crush.
On
one side you have Jiang Zemin armed to the teeth, backed by the resources of the
nation, the military, the police force, and his lackeys; on the other, are
ordinary citizens armed with nothing but the Truthfulness, Benevolence, and
Forbearance that they themselves have cultivated. In comparing the two, it is clear where the strength really
lies, what is right and wrong, and what is good and evil. Jiang
Zemin is standing on the side of evil, sneering at the world.
He is wielding his power like a club and challenging the last remaining
morality in this world. At this
historic moment, will you stand on the side of Jiang Zemin's wickedness, or will
you stand on the side of righteousness in the world?
This is not just a matter of the justice that we must extend to those who
are suffering, but it is also because they are bearing pain and hardship for
everyone. They are bearing
suffering for freedom in life. And
this righteousness and tremendous compassion and forbearance is precisely what
Jiang Zemin fears the most. Third
stage: Continuing persecution for
the sake of persecution Dafa
practitioners who have endured so much suffering don't retaliate when they're
hit or yelled at, so people don't see the sense of Jiang Zemin continuing this
crackdown. There is no reason for
Jiang Zemin to continue the suppression whether it be from the perspective of
the law or social justice. Jiang
Zemin's hatred has no name. It
arises out of his own wicked nature, so it is hatred for the sake of hatred.
Thus, his reason for continuing the persecution has become persecution
for the sake of persecution -- a crackdown that refuses to correct the mistakes
that have been made, a single-handed crackdown.
Every day that his jealousy remains, the fear cannot subside, which just
feeds the nameless hatred, and that's one more day that the persecution will not
end. The more he cannot suppress
it, the more jealous he becomes, the fear grows, the hatred deepens, and the
persecution becomes more and more brutal. In
the midst of this kind of vicious cycle, one can see all kinds of evidence from
the way the persecution is implemented of the narrowness, deviousness, and
wickedness of his mental makeup, his character, his position, and his way of
governance. In
order to stick to his disgraceful mistake, Jiang Zemin is forced to find all
kinds of false reasons. When
deceiving the people, it's for 'stability.'
When deceiving overseas Chinese, it's for 'strengthening' China.
When deceiving the international community, it's a 'unique
characteristics of China,' and so on. He also forces his personnel and organizations based overseas
to fabricate charges and libel against Falun Gong. Thus, the so-called 'unique characteristics of China' is just
Jiang Zemin's way of deceiving himself that no one can see what he's doing.
The ' best human rights situation' of the 'unique characteristics of
China' = the people have no rights whatsoever = there isn't even the most basic
guarantee of one's personal safety. The
'golden era of religious freedom' of this 'unique characteristics of China' =
there is no freedom to choose one's faith.
Tightly tethered to the scrap heap of Jiang Zemin's style of socialism
and socialist ideology are ministers and monks within religions who have become
officers within Jiang's cult, whether openly or covertly. Jiang
Zemin's crackdown has damaged his reputation and the blackening of his own name
has traveled further than once thought imaginable. What it has brought to the overseas diplomatic officers is
the shame of having to lie and the distress it causes on their conscience.
Their work has also been severely hampered.
What the crackdown has brought to the international community is scorn
and derision, disdain for his character and frequent condemnation of his
actions. Overseas, 'Jiang Zemin' has already become synonymous with
'rumor mongering.' To
be able to correct one's mistakes is the way of a great man; using flowery
language to hide falsehoods and to reverse right and wrong is the characteristic
of a sinister person. Jiang Zemin
has really become a world-class monster, so naturally he must be amongst those
removed by history. Observers, wait
and see, and be witness to this period of history. September
