"Validate the Fa with reason, clarify the truth with wisdom, spread the Fa and offer people salvation with benevolence" (Rationality) Some
Thoughts Regarding the Scripture "Beyond the Limits of
Forbearance" Our respected Teacher published a new scripture
"Beyond the Limits of Forbearance" on January 1, 2001. Many
practitioners feel that there are cosmic changes occurring; presumably
changes will follow on earth as well. In a word, the process of Fa
rectification has entered a new stage. The end for the evil in the human
world is approaching closer and closer. This is the will of heaven, and this
is not determined by any evil beings that are against Dafa. The destiny that Jiang Zemin has chosen for
himself now awaits him. There is no intention or plan, on the part of Dafa
practitioners, to take any action against him. Since the Teacher's new scripture was published,
Jiang Zemin and his accomplices have intensified their persecution and
attack against Falun Gong. The Xinhua News Agency, their propaganda tool,
has also hurried to publish more fabricated articles full of lies and
nonsense. One can see that, although they are outwardly severe they are
inwardly scared. They appear to be on the verge of having a breakdown. Now,
the most fearful person is Jiang Zemin, who owes heavy blood debts. He also
senses that he is approaching his end, and fearfully thinks that someone is
about to take his life. In fact, everyday people do not understand the
principles of cultivation. Dafa disciples would never dirty their hands with
those evil people. However, it is a heavenly principle that "Good will
be rewarded with good, and evil with evil." The vicious people will be
punished by gods, who have the responsibility to punish evil beings. Nobody
can escape paying back his or her debt. Jiang Zemin and his accomplices have
committed countless sins, but they never thought about what they would have
to go through to pay them back. They are bound to have an extremely horrible
end, which would be in accordance with what they deserve. There will soon be
more examples of the principles, "evil being rewarded with evil, and
retribution in the same lifetime." Perhaps this will also happen to
Jiang Zemin. Such instances will be a shock to those people who are
apathetic and indifferent, while also validating those practitioners who
have risked their lives to validate Falun Dafa to the people of the world. Truthfulness-Benevolence-Forbearance forever
remains the criterion for practitioners' actions The power of Benevolence defies all comparison Everything in the
universe is orderly and is taken care of by high-level beings. For instance,
Buddhas will teach sentient beings dwelling in heavenly kingdoms with
compassion; while ghosts will punish sinful people with torture in hell.
Only those who are willing to follow "Zhen-Shan-Ren"
(Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance) and strictly guard their "xinxing" [mind
and heart nature] can be Dafa disciples. During the Fa rectification
period, when Dafa disciples validate and safeguard Dafa, we rely upon our
upright beliefs and righteous thoughts, as well as the benevolence,
rationality and wisdom that we have cultivated from Dafa. The mighty power
of compassion cannot be contended with by violence — this has been proven
by hundreds of thousands of Dafa disciples' practice in validating Dafa
since "July 20". Some people say that: you have been able to
"not fight back when you are beaten or sworn at". However, the
vicious people have still not been put down and they still persecute Dafa
disciples brutally. That is the truth. However, those are their final
throes. Moreover, the rectification of the Fa does not mainly manifest
itself in this dimension, so it cannot be evaluated with a human point of
view. For over a year, it is the great compassion and great tolerance of all
Dafa disciples that have strongly assisted Teacher's Fa rectification in the
human world. The day when the Buddha's light illuminates the human realm
will come, eventually. Improving my understanding of Fa principles after
"stepping forward" Compared with the
earlier focus on individual cultivation, our cultivation during the period
of Fa-rectification is indeed very special. For example, during May 1992 to
April 25, 1999, there were a couple of opportunities to step forward.
At that time, when the evil force directly sabotaged the spreading of
Dafa and Fa rectification, Dafa disciples in mainland China went to the
press, radio and TV stations, that had spread slanderous articles about Dafa,
and clarified the true facts of Falun Dafa to them through practitioner's
own stories about the benefits they received from practicing Falun Dafa.
Also, since July 20, 1999, Dafa disciples around the world have clarified
the true facts regarding Falun Dafa, validated Dafa and offered salvation to
people by approaching different levels of governments in different
countries, congress, the media, various institutions and community groups,
as well as going out to the streets to approach the public.
Teacher has affirmed all these efforts to validate Dafa. During
peaceful cultivation periods, none of these activities would be necessary.
A cultivator has no interest in daily affairs of everyday people and
instead will focus on their own cultivation. Then why, when we are
cultivating during the period of Fa's rectifying the universe, do we need to
step forward to tell the truth — run websites, visit congressmen, collect
signatures for petitions, go to appeal, distribute flyers, hold banners, and
go to Tiananmen Square etc.? It is not only for fulfilling our vow of
assisting Teacher and safeguarding Fa that we had made before we came down,
but also because of the principle of "beyond the limits of
forbearance". "Forbearance" in this instance does not mean
tolerating evil beings who no longer contain human nature or righteous
thoughts and defy both human and divine laws as they corrupt sentient beings
and Dafa's existence at different levels, much less is it ignoring terrible
crimes. When the evil beings corrupt sentient beings and sabotage Dafa, it
is perfectly justified that Dafa disciples, who are the guardians of the Fa
at the human realm, to step forward to safeguard and validate the Fa. This
is the same principle for lives at different levels and dimensions to do
what the Fa requires them to do. The above is just some
of my personal understanding to share and discuss with more fellow
