The published pictures showing practitioners being persecuted are only several out of tens of thousands of cases. The beating and torture are widespread in police stations, labor camps and detention centers. Because the Chinese government blocks the news and the fact that bureaucrats shield one another, the even darker crimes inside can not be exposed.
