[Minghui Net] Gao Feng, female, 31, was a resident in Xingsheng Village, Wuchang City, Heilongjiang Province. In early February last year, she went to Beijing to validate Dafa but was captured in Lalin, Wuchang City. She was detained for over one month afterwards.

On October 26, 2000, she went to Beijing to appeal for the second time and was arrested again. She was later released 12 days after she went on a hunger strike. Before New Year's Day this year, she was arrested while distributing truth-clarifying fliers. She was released one week after she fasted. From then on, she became a wandering destitute, yet she continued to clarify the truth to people around her in Heihe City, Heilongjiang Province.

On May 12, 2001, she was illegally arrested while she was making banners. On May 19, she died in police custody. The police told her family that she was transferred to Wanjia Labor Camp two days after she went on a hunger strike, and that one day after she got to the labor camp she was sent to the hospital where she died of heart failure.

Her family was not allowed to take a look at her body and she was cremated on the afternoon of May 19. More than ten practitioners asked to see her body and, as a result, the police forcibly took away a practitioner named Sun Qiang whose whereabouts still remains unknown. We strongly request investigation of the truth of Gao Feng' death and call for punishment of the responsible parties according to the law.
