Several Chicago practitioners formed an "SOS Urgent Rescue" car group on July 13. They started their journey from the Chinese consulate. They will drive through 10 cities to introduce Dafa, hold press conferences, tell the true story about the persecution of Falun Gong in China, and collect signatures.

The second day, on the beach of Lake of Michigan, one lady was going to sign her name on the signature form and said, "My God! It is my brothers signature here (He lives in a small town far away.) He signed, so will I." Then she called all her family members to come and give support. After hearing the story of the persecution in China, all the family members signed their names, from a 4-year-old to the grandparents. Practitioners felt so happy for the big family because they just established their positive relationship with Dafa.

Another lady told practitioners that she is a Christian. Even though she will not practice Falun Gong, she will write a letter to the Chinese government to tell them about freedom of belief.

On July 14, practitioners gave free exercise teaching at a local library. One local resident saw the banner and said, "I have been looking for you for a long time. I am very interested in Falun Gong. I bought the books and video. But there is no local practice site, so I have to learn it by myself. Surprisingly you are here today!" Practitioners corrected her movements and shared experiences with her. No one thought that they would meet a person with predestined relationship in this small town.

On July 15, practitioners arrived in Indiana. With the help of local policemen, they made contact with the local NBC TV station. Upon hearing of the persecution of Falun Gong in China, reporters got everything ready in just 10 minutes, interviewed practitioners, and video taped the exercise demonstration. The tape was aired as local news twice on the same evening.
