Voice of Falun Dafa Echoed Above A Park in Beijing

On June 13, 2001, a Falun Dafa radio program resounded loudly in the Youth Lake Park in the East District of Beijing city. Many people who were in the park and also people who worked nearby were able to listen to the loud speaker. They were really astonished by what they heard. The voice of Falun Dafa effectively suffocated the evil.

On June 16, 2001, the voice of Falun Dafa resounded across the sky of Yingtao Village in Xiangshan, Beijing. The broadcasting promoted Falun Dafa to the people of the village and it also successfully suffocated the evil.

Non-practitioners Say: "Falun Gong is indeed mysterious"

Recently, there has been a funny story spreading in XX City, Hubei Province. An old lady who does not practice Falun Gong was able to see TeacherThe Supreme Buddha's True Body--on television. Her story has widely spread amongst the locals. All of those who hear about it admire Teacher from the bottom of their hearts and say: "Master Li Hongzhi is indeed a great Buddha, a savior, Falun Gong is simply good!"

This old lady has always believed in the existence of Buddha's. A couple of days ago, when she was watching TV at home, Teacher Li Hongzhi, wearing a shirt and a tie, appeared on the screen. After a while, the image of Teacher changed to a Holy Buddha: the circle of light on his head was vivid, and his body was radiating golden rays. After listening to the description of her personal experience, everyone on site began a warm discussion. Some said, "Falun Gong is truly mysterious," and, "So Master Li Hongzhi is indeed a great Buddha, Falun Dafa is indeed the righteous Fa [Law and Principles]!..."

The Power of a Young Practitioner's Righteous Thoughts

Students from XX Elementary school in Hengshui City were holding a performance to celebrate Children's Day on the 1st of June. One student was given the role of reciting a rhyme to slander Falun Dafa. A young Dafa practitioner, named Xiuyuan (pseudonym), who was watching the performance sent forth the righteous thought: "I won't allow him to slander my respectable Teacher and the magnificent Universal Law. Let him forget his rhyme." As a result, the performer immediately became stuck after his first sentence, and this repeated several times, which made all the students and teachers at the site roar with laughter.

A Fake Falun Gong Practitioner Slandered Falun Dafa On TV

According to information obtained from an insider in the police station, the so-called "transformed" practitioners attending a live television program with the theme of "condemning Falun Dafa" were not Falun Gong practitioners at all.

A person from the State Security Bureau revealed that when some high-ranking departments produced anti-Falun Gong programs, they used base means, such as dubbing Teacher's voice, to slander Mr. Li Hongzhi. This information was obtained from someone who witnessed the whole process in person.

The Wanjia Labor Camp in Harbin City Sent Over Ten Female Practitioners To a Male Labor Camp

There are a group of practitioners in the Wanjia labor camp who are considered to be in the "unshakable class." One female practitioner went on a hunger strike to protest the prolonged detention, and on the fourth day of her strike (May 24), several people tried to take her to a hospital [where she would be force fed translator]. Over ten female practitioners from the "unshakable class" rushed out to stop them, and to prevent them from further torturing her. In the end, the labor camp viciously sent these female practitioners to a male labor camp.

A Practitioner From Shijiazhuang Who Went On a Hunger Strike For Over 40 Days Was Arrested Again By Police

Shijiazhuang Falun Dafa practitioner Li Li is female and is around 60 years old. In April, 2001 she was jailed by the police for clarifying the truth of Falun Dafa. Li Li upheld her righteous thoughts, and did not drink or eat for over 40 days to protest against the persecution. The police were afraid of shouldering the responsibility if something happened to her, and so they informed her family to bring her home. On the evening of June 4, 2001, several policemen from Dongfeng Road police substation suddenly broke into her home again. Li Li was very weak at that time and couldn't even get out of bed. The inhumane police still forcefully carried Li Li to the police vehicle, drove her to the First Detention Center of Shijiazhuang City, and threw her on the floor. They then reported this unlawful act to the higher authority as an "arrest."

Her daughter Zhao Jinping was also arrested and sent to a labor camp for distributing materials which clarified the truth about the persecution of Falun Dafa. The materials were distributed in the Zhengdou Residential Community of Shijiazhuang City in the middle of November, 2000.

A Hell On Earth: How Shijiazhuang Labor Camp Brainwashes Falun Dafa Practitioners

As soon as Falun Dafa practitioners step into the labor camp, without saying a word, the guards brutally beat the practitioners with batons, and specifically hit practitioners' heads. After the practitioners were beaten until they were muddle headed, the guards would then ask whether practitioners would write repentance statements. If practitioners say no, they will use sticks to beat practitioners' ankles. If practitioners still refuse to write the repentance statements, they will use a torturing instrument to pinch the practitioners' fingers until they bleed. They even use small needles to pierce practitioners' nails and they don't allow practitioners to sleep for several days and nights in a row. It is as normal to be punished by having to stand for several days and nights, and to be kicked and punched, as it is to have three meals a day.

We call for the attention of all kindhearted people. We also want to warn those wicked people, "The Fa rectifies Heaven and Earth, immediate retribution in this lifetime."

More Evidence of the Persecution of Falun Dafa Practitioners By the Vicious Police in Changji City, Xinjiang Province

In November 2000, over 20 Falun Dafa practitioners were illegally arrested by the vicious police in Changji City. In the so-called "first trial," Falun Dafa practitioners denied all charges. However, before the Falun Dafa practitioners' appeals brought any outcome, the evil persecutors ignored the law and sentenced them to four years, three and a half years, or three years in jail. These practitioners were then sent to the Second Prison of the district, where two female practitioners went on a hunger strike for 18 days. Another female practitioner was brutally tortured by the head of the Changji City police section--Yue Jiangming, and his assistants--and then hung in an iron cage for three full days. They fabricated the charge of "Interference With the Execution of the Law" to sentence her to four years in jail.

Here, we would like to seriously warn the evil persecutors in Changji City: the followers of the evil persecution against Falun Dafa will not come to a good end. The people who are involved in the persecution should stop persecuting innocent Falun Gong practitioners and become kind hearted people in order to prevent been punished by Heaven.

Record of the Persecution of Falun Dafa Practitioners by Jiansan Administrative Bureau, Heilongjiang Province

Falun Dafa practitioners Wang Yufeng and his wife Chang Xueju from Qianshao Farmland of the Jiansan Administrative Bureau happened to hear that they were going to be sent to a labor camp. In order to escape from the persecution, they were forced to flee from their home. However, the police arrested Wang Yufeng's brother and mother as hostages and also installed monitoring devices in Wang Yufeng's relative's home. Wang and his wife were then detained for one and a half months. At present, Wang and his wife's freedom are limited. Four policemen constantly monitor their actions; they are even monitored when they go shopping.

Three local Falun Dafa practitioners were sent to labor camp recently.

Another 18 Falun Dafa Practitioners in Hengshui City are Forcefully Jailed

Around 11:00pm on May 29, Falun Dafa practitioners Sen Yupai and Li Junyu were arrested by the police from Hengshui City after having their homes ransacked. They are currently detained in the Second Detention Center of Hengshui City. Li and Sen are both elderly (in their 60s) and were arrested while sleeping at home.

Again around 11:00pm of May 31st, 16 Falun Dafa practitioners, including Gao Qindong and Zhang Xiulin, were arrested by local police after their homes were ransacked. They are detained in the First Detention Center of Hengsui City under the charge of "Undermining the Enforcement of the Law."

I want to ask, which law did the practitioners break while they were sleeping at home? Where are the basic living rights for these citizens? Is this Jiang Zemin's so-called "Best period of Human Rights"?

Note: according to information given by an insider from the police department, this was the united action taken by the entire Province and also the entire country.

Enforced Petitions Against Dafa in Major Banks and Public Sectors

Beijing's major banks and public sectors have started to force employees to sign petitions against Dafa and those who refuse to sign are taken away to brainwashing classes. Beijing's local councils and police stations force every practitioner who goes out to clarify the truth about Dafa to write statements promising they will not practice the exercises or appeal. If they refuse, they are put into brainwashing classes. The goal is to fully brainwash all practitioners in China before July of this year.

We remind practitioners from Beijing and the rest of China: "No matter under what situation, do not cooperate with the evil's demands, orders, and instructions." At the same time we call out to all practitioners worldwide to use righteous thoughts to stop the persecution of practitioners and eliminate all the evil in these brainwashing classes.

Dafa Practitioners Sentenced to Labor Camp

In June 2000, Zhongmo Dafa practitioners Wang Xiuling, Li Yanli and Sun Yaming went to Tiananmen Square to clarify the truth about Falun Dafa. They were jailed without any legal process by the Appeals Office and later brought back by their local police and unlawfully detained. While in custody, because these three practitioners refused to write the "three statements" [guarantee letter, repent letter, and statement of renouncing Falun Gong] and were determined in practicing Falun Dafa, they were illegally sentenced to 4 years in a labor camp.

In June 2001, Wang Xiuling and Li Yanli were moved to Xinxiang Labor Camp and Sun Yaming was moved to Xinmi Labor Camp.

Sun Yaming's sister was sentenced to 1 year in a labor camp simply because she went to Beijing to appeal.

Because Li Yanli and husband Sun Yaming are in labor camps, care of Sun's paralytic father, their three-year-old child and all housework has fallen to their mother.

The Shibali River's First Women Labor Camp in Henan Province has 500 female practitioners in custody.

Countryside Practitioner Arrested For Posting Falun Dafa Articles

Xu Wenbin and wife Xie Lifeng are two honest and kind young people from the countryside. Ever since they practiced Falun Dafa, they have won praise from everyone. Since July 22, 1999, Xu Wenbin has been arrested four times for appealing and practicing Dafa exercises. His wife was arrested three times and sentenced to one year in a labor camp. She was released in October 2000. Due to the large amount of fines, they owe a lot of money.

In the middle of April 2001, Xishui County police department unlawfully opened a letter and discovered a Falun Dafa article posted by Xu Wenbin to his wife who was working in Guangzhou City. A few police officers rushed to his house to make an arrest. Fellow villagers gathered around Xu Wenbin, protecting him and accusing the police of arresting those who are innocent. Many said, "Even good people, like Xu Wenbin, are being arrested; how could all of you be so lawless!" Both sides refused to budge. Then one officer called for backup from the police station and soon more than ten policemen arrived. All together there were about twenty-five police surrounding Xu Wenbin's home. His young daughter clung to her father; his blind father and ailing mother held onto him; fellow villagers cried. They talked about many of the kind acts from Xu Wenbin and condemned these officers for their cruel acts.

After seeing that they have come into conflict with most of the local villagers, police lied and said that they only wanted to question him. Xu Wenbin was then taken away with ropes tied around his neck and shoulders.

At the detention center, Xu fasted to protest against the police violence. They tried to forced-feed him through the mouth. When that did not work, they tried going through the nose, and then the anus. In the end, after all had failed, the cruel officer You Haibo (Deputy of the police department) actually said, "Operate and open up his stomach so we can put the food in." He called the doctor. The doctor said, "A person like him who has fasted for more than ten days only breathes out, not in. If we operated on his stomach to tube feed him and the needle were sucked in, it would be life threatening. This is a case involving a human life. I don't have the courage to do it." The Deputy finally gave up after hearing that. This event fully exposed the cruelty of the police.

At the same time, noticing the address on the envelope of Xu's letter, a few police arrested his wife in Guangzhou and jailed her at the detention center.

The Experiences of a 70-Year-Old Practitioner

I am currently 70 years old, a farmer from Xishui County, Hubei Province. At the time when lies, deceit and violence broke out throughout country, at the end of December 1999, I went to the Appeals Office in Beijing to clarify the truth about Falun Dafa, which is the lawful duty of a citizen. After taking down our details, the officials in the Appeals Office refused to let us go.

Later we were "escorted" back to Xishui Police Department. Inside the office, a few police officers first strip-searched me, leaving me in my underwear, and then ordered me to stand facing the wall with both of my hands held above my head. I was forced to stand like this for two hours. I shook with the cold and my legs could not even straighten. Later an officer suddenly started to slap my head with a leather belt and soon two more came, one on each side of me. They pulled my arms and kicked me. I was detained under these conditions for 15 days. When I was released, my wife was ordered to pay 2500 Yuan (approximately five months salary for an average worker in Chinese cities) for my fines and food. I was not even given a receipt.

I have always believed that this government is the "people's government" which will listen to the voices of the people. I would never imagine that after lawfully appealing to Beijing, I would experience such tortures and brutality and would be accused of "destabilizing society." I have heard that United Nations have a human rights group. I want to tell them my experiences and let them judge whether this is fair or not.

Exposing Tortures of Dafa Practitioners at Jixi Labor Camp

In October 1999, the Jixi Labor Camp started to detain Falun Dafa practitioners. However, ever since that time, there were always around 10 male practitioners in it. Now the number has increased to over 30. In March 2001, the labor camp started to take Masanjia Labor Camp as a model in brainwashing. Practitioners were admonished and violently tortured. When they fasted in protest against enforced brainwashing, they were savagely beaten. The custodian's orders were: torture them, as long as they do not die from hunger or beatings. Because he was too frightened to take responsibility for the beatings, he ordered paid ruffians and gangsters to beat the practitioners.

In April, when practitioners realized that writing the repentance statement was wrong, most of them wrote solemn declarations promising to continue practicing until the end. In May, practitioner, Hou Jintao (alias), was thrown into a small cell after being beaten, and was savagely beaten again while in this cell. He was beaten until he collapsed mentally. The labor camp immediately separated him, not letting his family see him.

Wicked People From Yuhua District Take Dafa Practitioners From Their Homes To Brainwashing Classes

Xu Ruqian, female, is 53. On the morning of June 8, more than ten people from Yuhua Road Agency and Yuhua Road Police Substation took her from her home without going through any legal procedure. She was then illegally detained in the brainwashing class held by the Daguo Village Party School, Yuhua District. We call on all the kindhearted people to pay attention to the incident and help Dafa practitioners who are under brutal persecution. We also call on Dafa practitioners' family members to strongly resist the persecution of practitioners by the evil forces, and expose their crimes.

Communist Education College Turns Into a Torture Center

The Communist College in Laiyang has turned into a torture center for Falun Dafa practitioners. They consort with brainwashed people and members of the police department from Jinan and Liubo labor camps to force practitioners to give up Falun Dafa. If practitioners cannot be persuaded, then they are beaten by police officers. Those brainwashed people have handed over the list of names of all those who are still determined to practice Falun Dafa. This has caused many practitioners to be arrested, jailed and tortured.

Accounts of Torture at Shandong Female Labor Camp

In Section four of the labor camp, the guards deceived brainwashed people into torturing Dafa practitioners by promising to reduce their detention periods. Once, eight brainwashed people, including Li Meiyin, Zhou Chunyin and Yin Xia, savagely beat up a 50-year-old practitioner (group one of Section 4) until she fainted. However, they accused her of pretending to pass out. Li Meiyin and others actually said that even if their bodies and souls would be destroyed, they would still transform the Dafa practitioners. That 50-year-old practitioner's current condition is unknown. In April this year, Qingdao practitioner, Yuan Xueqi (alias) was put into the labor camp. People from Brainwashing Assistant Group at the labor camp would often hit or curse her. She could no longer tolerate the cruel tortures, so at night she cut her wrist. Later she was rescued and currently faces severe torture from these people.

According to practitioners who were released, the degree of cruelty inside the female labor camp is unthinkable. The brainwashing starts with persuasions, then comes electric rods; in winter, cold water is poured over practitioners and many are forced to stand outdoors in the cold. Those so-called brainwashed people are used to beat practitioners severely. If this still does not work, practitioners are hung in mid-air, at times for days. When practitioners fast, they forcefully tube feed them. Normally, practitioners can only endure one or two weeks of this torture. There is a practitioner, Niu Kuihua , in Section five who was able to fast for 40 days and then 30 days. But in the end, she still could not endure their torture. Those jailed practitioners can only defeat evil when they truly let out the power of their cultivated side.

Hefei Dafa practitioner Dong Hong went to Beijing to appeal in January of 2001. We have received news that Dong has been sentenced to one and a half years in a labor camp and is currently being detained in Tiantang River Xingan Labor Camp in Daxing County, Beijing.

The head of the Wuhu City Politics and Law Commission, Wang Jingchang, has been fanatically attacking Dafa and recently organized a picture display defaming Dafa at a local dock. Due to his efforts in the defamation and persecution of Dafa, he was given an "outstanding individual" award. We advise him to quickly stop his detrimental actions or face a long journey of painful retributions.

Local Officials Persecute Dafa Practitioners

The following is an account of immoral actions led by the Liulindun Village rural government, village chief, judicial sector chief, and the head of the village nursing home in persecuting Falun Dafa practitioners.

After Dafa practitioner Cheng Jingshan was brought home from Beijing, he was beaten by a group of people. He was hit with and pricked by a straw broom on his bare shoulders. He was forced to kneel and balance a chamber pot on his head, and his legs were beaten until they were numb. He was held for a long period of time without being charged, in violation of the basic criminal laws. Here, we solemnly warn these officials to stop these actions or face severe retributions.

Evil Receives Retribution

Zhang Shuyi, section chief of Nangao Village commerce board, was infamous for his persecution of Dafa practitioners. He was riding his motorcycle home when he ran into a pile of sand and died on the scene.

Officer Gu Zhengcheng of the County Detention Center often slanders Master Li and Dafa. Recently his co-workers found him lying on his bed in the middle of the day. He did not respond to their words, and his features were distorted. Furthermore, he could not move his limbs either. He was taken to the hospital and saved by a blood transfusion. Currently, he slurs his words and has to use crutches when he walks. We advise that all police officers who are continuing their inhumane treatment of practitioners to stop immediately or face retribution.

Paoya Village Officials Persecute Practitioners

Dafa practitioner Li Wanjiang and Wang Guixiang appealed in Beijing in September of 1999. They benefited both in mind and body since practicing Falun Gong and just wanted to say that Falun Gong is good. As a result, they were brought back to Paoya Village and brutally beaten. The local police also confiscated 1360 Yuan (Yuan, Chinese dollars, the monthly salary of an average worker in cities of China is about 500 Yuan) without giving a receipt and ransacked the practitioners' homes. In addition, both practitioners were unlawfully detained for half a month. Two days after being released, they were arrested once again without any reason. Li Wanjiang was detained for another 40 days and only released after the village police extorted 3000 Yuan from his family.

Recently, police have ransacked their homes on numerous occasions and continually harassed them. They have also tried to intimidate the practitioners into writing slanderous essays or signing guarantees to not practice Falun Gong by threatening them with labor camp. Both practitioners have been forced to leave their homes and wander the streets.

On June 13, four practitioners, including Tan Xiaorong, were arrested and sent to the Lanzhou Xiguoyuan Detention Center by police from Xiding City, Lanzhou City, Lanzhou City University Police Station and Lanzhou City University Public Security Department.

On June 17, Wang Hongmei, 1998 doctorate student from the Department of History was moved to the Lanzhou Taoshuping Detention Center by Lanzhou City University Police Station. As of June 19, she has fasted for six days and continues to fight with her life.

Hurting Others is the Same as Hurting Yourself

Two practitioners were arrested when they were caught putting up posters clarifying the truth of Dafa. When the police forced them to give statements, one practitioner said nothing, while the other gave a few other practitioners' names in order to lessen his own punishment. After realizing that the second practitioner had betrayed other practitioners, the first practitioner contacted those practitioners involved to warn them. The second practitioner even went as far as personally leading the police to those other practitioners. In the end the second practitioner who betrayed Dafa, Teacher and fellow practitioners was sentenced to 7 years while the other practitioner was only sentenced to 2 years.

An Example of Retribution in This Lifetime

On May 26, practitioners Jiang Luokui, Zhang Qinhua and Zhang Jiping (female) of Nandun Coal Factory (Shangdong Province Coal Organization) were arrested from their homes by police from the Public Security Department and beaten while handcuffed to the window frame. Two days later they were transported to the detention center. On the way back, the car turned over and an officer was hospitalized with severe injuries. This incident still has not awakened them. The Nandun Coal Factory has formed a Falun Gong target group, which specializes in persecuting Dafa practitioners.

Hao Wuyuan of the Chenghua District Commission Contracts Terminal Illness

Hao Wuyuan, Secretary of Chenghua District Politics and Law Commission, is in charge of persecuting Falun Gong and has continually slandered Dafa. He has contracted a terminal illness, yet he still has not come to his senses. He continues to be faithful to Jiang Zemin's criminal regime.
