The Shanxi Province Women's Labor Camp detains all of the sentenced female practitioners in the province. The guards there use the most ruthless and cruelest methods to torture these practitioners. The following is a list of several inhumane methods used by the labor camp authorities against the female Falun Gong practitioners:
- They bind four toothbrushes together and push them into a practitioner's vagina, and then turn the handles of the toothbrushes with their hands. They use this savage method to force female practitioners to renounce Falun Gong.
- They make it a usual practice to let the inmates beat practitioners every day. They threaten to continue this until practitioners give in.
- They put the portrait of Master Li on practitioners' beds or on the corridor floor where practitioners have to pass. Out of respect for their Teacher, many practitioners cannot sleep in the beds and instead chose to sit beside them rather than deface their Teacher's portrait.
- They release police dogs to bite and attack the female practitioners. The person in charge of the brainwashing class in Taiyuan City went to visit the labor camp and saw this practice being conducted. He then followed this example upon returning to Taiyuan and released the dogs on the practitioners there also.
These labor camp authorities fully realize that their conduct cannot be exposed to the public. Therefore, they block as much information as they can, not allowing practitioners to have any contact with the outside world.
Luo Gan, one of the leaders of the persecution against Falun Gong, went to the labor camp for an inspection. His comment on these savage deeds was, "The guards here are of high quality." (Note: Luo Gan is the Secretary of Political and Legal Committee in the central government. He is also one of several high-ranking government officials who follow Jiang Zemin closely in the persecution of Falun Gong.)
The female practitioners in the Shanxi Province Women's Labor Camp are now in great agony everyday. We hope that people can be aware of the situation, help stop these atrocities, and rescue these practitioners who firmly believe in "Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance.
