In a Few Words: About the Use of Dafa Terms and Symbols

The words, "Falun Dafa" and "Falun Gong," the Falun emblem, and the "srivatsa" symbol, are very sacred terms and symbols. As Dafa practitioners, we should be careful when using them.

Some practitioners use "falungong" and "falundafa" as their personal email addresses, or they call musical compositions and the artwork created by practitioners, as Dafa music, and so on. I personally feel that these notions are wrong and that it is not being responsible to Dafa. Moreover, it is easy to mislead others when they see individual actions as representative of the whole body.

Practitioners all know that different disciples have different understandings while doing Dafa work, which is reflected by their levels in cultivation. These cannot be compared with Dafa. We should especially never use our own understandings to "represent" Dafa. Therefore, to accomplish the task of validating Dafa and clarifying the truth even better, I suggest we all regard these matters with greater care.
