Hongfa Activities in the Chinatown of Kobe, Japan

From February 15 to 17, a Spring Festival celebration was held in the Chinatown of Kobe, Japan. Upon learning this, Dafa practitioners from Kobe, Kyoto, Osaka, and some other cities all participated in this event and their hongfa (introducing Dafa to the public) activity was a complete success.

On those three days, visitors crowded the streets of Chinatown. We set up poster displays, distributed flyers, and handed out newspapers at the busiest intersections where tourists strolled and at various bus stops. Many people were interested in our flyers, and others even voluntarily handed them out for us. After we clarified the truth to them, some expressed concern and sympathy and even helped us to distribute newspapers. Some people noticed the displays from afar and approached us for information. Some people patiently read every poster in its entirety, while others promptly finished reading the newspaper while standing there, then patting a practitioner on the shoulder and saying, "Keep up the good work!" Some people wanted to learn the exercises and bought Dafa books on the same day. A westerner, after carefully reading the newspapers, told a practitioner that she'd immediately e-mail the White House to protest the Jiang regime's blatant human rights violations. Another elderly woman told us that we looked kindhearted, and she also wanted a flyer. On the whole, everybody seemed to be waiting for the Fa.

After viewing our display, many Chinese people also wanted to know more about Dafa. They accepted newspapers, booklets, truth-clarification VCD's, and expressed their interest in learning Dafa. It is saddening how some Chinese people are still indifferent towards Dafa, and we realized the importance of our monumental task. No matter how difficult it is, we must still " Clarify the Truth to the Chinese People Comprehensively, in a Deeper and More Refined Way" (Clearwisdom editorial) and offer salvation to sentient beings with our all-encompassing benevolence and forbearance.
