Recent Cases of Injury and Death to People Who Have Persecuted Falun Gong in China

April 10, 2002 |

(Clearwisdom.net) Editors' Note: In both Western and Chinese culture, the principle of karmic retribution, that is, being held ultimately accountable for one's own actions, is widely accepted. The fundamental teaching of Falun Gong is the characteristic of the universe, "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." The universe will reward actions that are in harmony with this principle, while actions such as beating, torturing and murdering people will incur karmic retribution. Stated another way, good deeds will be rewarded with good, while evildoings will meet due karmic retribution. Articles such as this one are meant as a compassionate reminder of this principle to those who would commit wrongdoing. While many of those who persecute Falun Gong are merely "following orders," the universal law requires that they, too, be held responsible for their actions, and that only by reversing their course of wrongdoing may they escape karmic retribution.

The chief of the National Security Bureau of Germu City, Qinghai Province died from an attack of a serious illness. He cruelly persecuted Falun Gong practitioners when he was alive. Each time truth-clarifying literature appeared in Germu City, he would issue an illegal order to police to arrest all the practitioners and place them in detention. According to his doctor's diagnosis, he suffered from cancer, which had spread to his liver, stomach, and lungs.

Police in Chengan County of Handan, Hebei Province have died or become injured one after another in recent years. The following are a few such cases:

In Wuhan City, Hubei Province, a few people who have assisted in the persecution of Falun Gong died or suffered severe injury. Zhao Zhaoying, 75, helped police to arrest practitioners. He was stricken with bladder cancer that has now spread all over his body. Xu Daju suffers constant pain in her feet. Yan lost one of his eyes.

Wang, about 40 years old, lived in Wulumuqi City, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. He never believed in the existence of Gods and often slandered and cursed Gods. He died in a serious automobile accident in early 2002.

Zhao Chouqi, a sanitation worker in Xiantao City, Hubei Province, often tore down Falun Gong literature posted on the wall. His legs later suffered severe pain, such that he was unable to continue his work. He then woke up and realized that it was wrong to do such bad things to Falun Gong, so he hasn't torn down Falun Gong literature since then.
