1. [China] Central Government Propaganda Department Orders All Radio and TV Units to Fire All Employees who Practice Falun Gong
On the day after the Changchun cable TV network incident, the Central Government Propaganda Department gave an urgent order to TV and radio stations all over the country: "Fire all Falun Gong practitioners currently employed." The Central Government Propaganda Department also took some other actions in trying to prevent similar incidents from happening.
On March 28, there was a piece of news on CCTV suggesting that viewers call and report any signal problem to this publicized number: 010-86091111. In many places, police hide near cable TV amplifiers and keep watch. The evil is scared of being exposed, and they are now very fragile.
Jiang's Regime has continued the persecution of Falun Gong with their lies and deceptive methods. What the perpetrators fear most is the truth of the persecution being revealed to the public. Furious that his evil deeds were so broadly exposed, Jiang took extreme, violent measures against Dafa practitioners in Changchun, trying to stop their courageous acts of exposing the evil and saving people. We think that by effectively exposing the lies and clarifying the truth on a broader scale all over the world, we can strongly support the practitioners in Changchun and further eliminate the evil.
2. [China] Employee of National Security Department: "You May Tell People That The 'Self Immolation' in Tiananmen Is A Hoax."
In a big city of North China, some officers from the National Security Department said to some practitioners after arresting them: "You may go on the street and clarify the truth to people by word of mouth; you may say that Jiang is bad, and the 'self immolation' in Tiananmen Square is a hoax. As long as you don't have the materials on you, then there is no evidence that you did anything illegal, and you will save us a lot of trouble." What they mean is that if there is no evidence, they don't have to arrest the practitioners. Of course, the practitioners will do better in clarifying the truth from the perspective of saving people (not necessarily following the suggestion of the officer); yet the officer's words indicate that some of the law-enforcement people really don't want to help Jiang in the persecution, nor arrest the practitioners any more.
3. [Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province] Exposing The Wicked Deeds in "Guizilou" Building
"Guizilou" is the nickname of an office building of the Longsha District Police Department. The cruelty of the police in the building is well known to the local people. In the persecution of benevolent Dafa practitioners, their cruel and wicked nature was further revealed.
Practitioner Zhang Min (alias) is a government official in Qiqihar City. For his firm belief in Dafa, Zhang was brutally tortured in "Guizilou." The police guards hung him upside down in the air. The rope was fixed on a frame above, so that Zhang was like a swing. The perpetrators pushed him back and forth, beating the lower part of his body and his genitals. Zhang's genital area was badly swollen as a result. Seeing that Zhang still refused to give in, the perpetrators forced the spoke from a bicycle wheel into Zhang's genitals, laughing wickedly.
4. [Fucheng County, Hebei Province] After Torturing Practitioner Liu Qiusheng to Death, The Police Continued to Persecute Liu's Family Members
The Public Security Department of Fucheng County, Hebei Province illegally arrested practitioner Liu Qiusheng from his home on February 10, 2002. They brutally tortured Liu for over 10 days until his death around February 24, after which they illegally dissected Liu's corpse and then illegally and without permission, cremated it.
Asking that justice be served, Liu's mother and younger sister (both are practitioners) went to appeal in Beijing. The Public Security Department of Fucheng County arrested them and sent them back to a brainwashing center in Fucheng County, where they are still detained at this time. We hope that all Dafa practitioners who have seen this message will send forth righteous thoughts to eliminate the evil persecution against them, so that they can be released soon.
5. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Practitioner Lan Qizhi Has Been Detained at Zhengding County Detention Center for 6 Months
Lan Qizhi is a 37-year-old female Dafa practitioner. She used to work at the Chuyun Cooperative in Shijiazhuang City. Lan was kidnapped on the night of September 28, 2001; no one knows where she has been since. It was said that she has been under detention at Zhengding County Detention Center since November 2001.
6. [China] A Dafa Practitioner Was Illegally Detained for Putting Up A Poem During The Spring Festival
In a city in north China, a Dafa practitioner put up a poem on the door of his/her home. The police illegally arrested the practitioner for doing that. The perpetrators detained the practitioner at a drug detoxification center, where the practitioner went on a hunger strike to protest against the persecution. The practitioner was later released. The antithetical couplet is:

7. [Beijing] The "610" Office Has Created Another Policy of "Forceful Brainwashing"
According to the inside news, the "610" Office in Beijing has created another policy to further persecute Dafa practitioners: Forcing the practitioners who have been released from forced labor camps to renounce Dafa again. [Note: The "610 Office" is an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems] The perpetrators plan to put those practitioners who refuse to renounce Dafa into brainwashing classes. They plan to sentence those who still refuse to give up their cultivation after the brainwashing class to 2 years in a forced labor camp. Currently, the persecutors in all districts and counties of Beijing have started to carry out this policy.
8. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] The Brutal Persecution of Dafa Practitioners in Hewan Forced Labor Camp
The No. 6 Team (4th floor, Group No. 2) of Hewan Forced Labor Camp is also called the "Team from Hell." Headed by Zhang Yi and Gao Junan, the guards of the team conjured up schemes to persecute the practitioners. They used a tough drug addict named Cai Bin as the head of the inmates. Four other inmates, Yin Shaogang, Yang Wei, Li Qizhong, and Peng Zhiwei formed a group with Cai Bin. Under the instigation from guards Zhang and Gao (promising to dramatically reduce their terms), the five people brutally tortured Dafa practitioners.
The five inmates torture and physically punish practitioners 24 hours a day and do not allow them to rest. Many practitioners were tortured many times in a single day. Sometimes the five people surrounded one practitioner and beat him up, slapping his face at will. Some practitioners' backs were seriously injured, and they could not walk; some practitioners' feet were badly swollen; some had black eyes; some practitioners heads were knocked against the wall; some were badly hurt in the chest, and they could not even cough; some practitioners' necks were pinched and burnt to the point of blistering; some were forced to their knees. In the cold winter, when it was snowing hard outside, the five people forced Dafa practitioners to take cold showers in the cold wind, making them shiver all over. They also used other cruel ways to torture the practitioners: they did not allow the practitioners to use the restroom during the day, and when practitioners went to use the restroom at night, they claimed that the practitioners were trying to escape, and then beat them up. For using the restroom during the day, guard Gao Junan beat a practitioner so hard that the practitioner was seriously injured, and he lay on the ground unable to move. Gao also pulled some practitioners ears and dragged them around. The painful tortures lasted for over 180 days.
9. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Dafa Practitioner Li Ming Illegally Kidnapped by the Local "610 Office"
Li Ming is a female practitioner in her 40s. Around 11 p.m. on February 7, 2002, several people from the local police and the Wuchang District "610 Office" arrested Li and put her into the Yangyuan Brainwashing Class, where she has been detained since then. Li Ming's family members are not allowed to visit her.
10. [Jinchang City, Gansu Province] Police Kidnap Several Dafa Practitioners
For going out of town to take care of her daughter, practitioner Wei Anyu was illegally arrested by the local police. Since December 2001, Wei has been under detention at Jinchang City Detention Center and Jinchuan Cooperation Drug Detoxification Center. Right now, she is being forced to attend a brainwashing class at the detoxification center.
Li Dexiang is also a female practitioner in Jinchang City. Because she firmly refused to give up her cultivation, the police illegally ransacked her home and arrested her before the spring festival. Li was then detained at Jinchang City Detention Center. Li Dexiang had just been released from Pingantai Forced Labor Camp one month before her recent arrest. Li's husband is mentally ill, and she has two mentally disabled sons. The three were left at home with no one to take care of them.
Female practitioner Zhao Fenglian's situation was very similar: Because she would not give up her cultivation, the police illegally ransacked her home and arrested her before the spring festival. Zhao had just been released from Pingantai Forced Labor Camp one week before her recent arrest. Her husband is also a practitioner, and was illegally sent to Pingantai Forced Labor Camp in November 2001.
A man named Shi and his wife (both practitioners) were arrested before the spring festival. Their whereabouts are unknown. Some police have been seen hiding in their home, yet the perpetrators did not get what they wanted.
11. [Guiyang City, Guizhou Province] Tearing off The Hypocritical Mask of The Brainwashing Classes
At the Brainwashing classes held at Yunyan and Nanming District in Guiyang City, the perpetrators were nice to the practitioners on the surface. They did not force the practitioners to do many things. However, when some practitioners lowered their guard, the perpetrators suddenly sent them to Zhongba Forced Labor Camp. At this time, 4 practitioners including Shen Liping and Xu Xueying have been sent to the labor camp.
12. [Beijing] Eliminate The Perpetrators' Network Blockade
Two Dafa practitioners from Beijing learned from the owner of an Internet cafe recently that the National Security Department and Public Security Department has tightened their control over the Internet. They took away the computers in the Internet cafes (and even computers of some work units) and checked the websites that the users have been visiting on every computer. They used the "sensitive contents" as evidence to make arrests. It was said that the method would be used in other places too. The owner of the Internet cafe was indignant, and yet, was helpless.
13. [Huidong County, Guangdong Province] The Local "610 Office" Put Many Practitioners into Brainwashing Class
The perpetrators in Huidong County have been wildly persecuting Dafa practitioners for the past two years. They have detained over 30 practitioners and sent them to the brainwashing classes in Huizhou City. Five practitioners were sentenced to a forced labor camp. In January 2002, the police illegally arrested practitioner Kuang Jianping again, and Kuang has been detained since then. On March 7, 2002, they arrested practitioner Ma Yuying at home and sent Ma to the brainwashing class in Huizhou City.

14. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Dafa Practitioners in Jinzhou District Were Kidnapped--They Have Protested With a Hunger Strike For Almost 50 Days
Practitioner Hou Chunli and her mother (also a practitioner) had their home surrounded by many officials from Jinzhou District Police Department on February 8, 2002. Refusing to cooperate with the persecution, the two practitioners did not open the door. The next day, the perpetrators broke into their home through a window and kidnapped the practitioners, then detained them at Jinzhou Detention Center. The mother and daughter went on hunger strike in protest against the persecution. Because Hou's mother was in critical condition, she was released first; Hou has been on hunger strike for almost 50 days in the detention center. We hope that all people with a sense of justice can extend their support and rescue Hou Chunli.
15. [Beijing] A Truth-Clarifying Material Production Site in Changping Was Destroyed; Five Dafa Practitioners Were Arrested
In December 2001, the perpetrators destroyed a truth-clarifying material production site in Dongxiaokou Town (Changping) and arrested 5 female Dafa practitioners. Under tremendous pressure, 1 of the 5 practitioners gave in to the torture, and was forced to give information to the perpetrators. Another two practitioners (Zhuang Xianghong and Kou Yuhuan) refused to cooperate with the persecutors. Zhuang is detained at the Seventh Division of the Beijing Police Department, and Kou is detained at the Changping District Detention Center.
16. [Jiamusi City, Heilongjiang Province] Practitioner Qi Xiulan Suffered Relentless Persecution
Qi Xiulan is a female practitioner who used to work as an accountant at the computer center of the Agricultural Academy of Science. Qi was arrested for appealing in Beijing in September 1999. The perpetrators detained her at the local liaison office in Beijing before her work unit took her back to Jiamusi City. A Department Chief named Sun ordered police officer Han Shuqi and Jiang Yusheng (director of "610 Office" at the Agricultural Academy of Science) to have Qi Xiulan sent to Baoquanling Detention Center, where she was detained for 23 days and they extorted 476 Yuan from her as "food expense and management fees." Qi's work unit laid her off and refused to give her the year-end bonus. In February 2000, Qi Xiulan went to Beijing to appeal. Police arrested her and sent her back, then policeman Wang (from Nanwei Police Station), officer Zhang Zhiguo and Chen Yongde illegally sent her to a detention center. Qi was held in the detention center for 97 days and was extorted out of 300 Yuan as so-called "food expenses." In February 2001, some persecutors in Jiadong Police Station tricked her into going to the police station. From there she was sent to a detention center again. Qi Xiulan was detained again for 71 days and extorted out of 600 Yuan, again as so-called food expenses. Jiamusi City Police Department extorted 3000 Yuan from her, and Jiadong Police Station extorted over 600 Yuan from her.

Song Zhaohua, director of the computer center at the Agricultural Academy of Science (Song was dismissed from the post in 2001). Song refused to give Qi Xiulan her year-end bonus and did not arrange work for Qi. Song also forced Qi to report to him/her when leaving her home. Song Jihong, an office manager in Qi's work unit. In May 2001, while Qi was not at home, her husband had a sudden heart attack. Seeing that he was seriously ill, the work unit's doctor suggested to Song that Qi's husband be sent to a hospital. Yet Song refused simply because Qi is a Falun Gong practitioner. 17. [Jiamusi City, Heilongjiang province] Crimes Committed by Policeman Shao Fuxiang
Shao Fuxiang is a policeman at Zhongshan Police Station, Qianjin Police Substation. Shao took the lead in persecuting Dafa practitioners every time. On the morning of March 6, practitioner Sun Libin was illegally arrested and cuffed on a chair by the police. Shao Fuxiang and some other police guards took the keys of Sun's home and ransacked her place, taking away valuables like tape recorders and VCD players. The perpetrators made a mess of Sun's home. They also tried to force Sun to stomp on Teacher's picture. When Sun refused, they tried to force her to do that by grabbing her feet. In the struggle, Sun's pants were ripped open. The wicked police also put Teacher's picture on the chair and forced Sun to sit on it. They also locked Sun to an iron chair and put her in the center of a room. To date, Sun's family members are still not allowed to visit her.
18. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] A Former Practitioner Went Astray and Now Persecutes Practitioners
Qi Jingwei is a 34-year-old female who works at the Guomao Building in Shijiazhuang City. In September 2000, Qi was illegally sentenced to 2 years in a forced labor camp. Inside the No. 4 Group of Shijiazhuang Forced Labor Camp, Qi Jingwei "enlightened" along an evil path and became a collaborator with the persecutors. After her release in July 2001, Qi helped to persecute practitioners in many brainwashing classes. She even deceitfully tricked her own mother into the brainwashing center in Shijiazhuang City, where the old woman was tortured mentally and physically.
