On November 18, 2003, an introductory workshop with a theme of exposing Jiang Zemin's crime of genocide was held in the hall of the Jakarta Law Assistance Organization building. Several dozen Falun Gong practitioners from Jakarta and Surabaya, several democratic organizations, Christian clergy and local media attended the meeting.

A representative of Indonesia Falun Gong practitioners, Li Man, first told the attendees about Jiang regime's harassment and persecution of Indonesia Falun Gong practitioners. Li Man said, "Jiang's regime, through the Chinese Embassy in Indonesia, exerts political pressure on Indonesia's Ministry of Interior to disavow the legal Indonesia Falun Gong Association and prevent Falun Gong practitioners from holding legal activities such as introductory workshops, gatherings and marches." He also talked about the facts of brutal persecution of Falun Gong in China.

In the hall, pictures showing the brutal persecution of Falun Gong in China were displayed. Several videos were played, introducing Falun Gong and its worldwide spread, awards received and its development in Indonesia. The video in Indonesian left a deep impression on the audience.

A gentleman from the "Tutoring Village" organization said frankly, "After viewing the video, I am very touched. Local people have benefited from the practice in both mind and body. The pictures showing the brutal persecution of Falun Gong in China have made a significant impact on my conscience. I must support safeguarding justice." He also suggests that a network for supporting justice and resisting evil should be established.

The manager of the Law Assistance Organization said, "I strongly support the establishment of a group to supporting Falun Gong. The voices should not be limited to Indonesia, but should be spread worldwide, safeguarding freedom of speech, assembly and belief, and striving for basic human rights and freedom through the international media. It should especially be exposed that the Chinese Embassy uses political pressure, spreads lies and slander, and infringes the basic rights of Falun Gong practitioners."

To conclude, these human rights organizations read together the International Pact on Human Rights of December 10, 1948 and expressed that they would support the Falun Gong movement and its legal existence from a moral point of view. They will support the Falun Gong practitioners' attempts to hold activities freely and plan the establishment of "Indonesia Coalition Supporting Falun Gong" to bring the chief criminal, former President of China, Jiang Zemin to justice.
