Fucheng County Detention Center of Hengshui District, Hebei Province is currently detaining five Falun Gong practitioners. They are Ms. Tian Guirong, Ms. Sang Wen Li and daughter, Ms. Shi Xiaoqin, Ms. Yang Suru and Ms. Can Ying. They have been on a hunger strike for 20 days. It has been said that they have been sentenced to forced labor.

2. [Hengshui City, Hebei Province] Sun Liangsheng and Kang Yanxiang Unlawfully Detained Beyond Their Terms
According to insiders, the policemen of Taocheng District Police Department in Hengshui City fabricated charges against practitioners Mr. Sun Liangsheng and Mr. Kang Yanxiang, and reported them to the court. Hengshui City Intermediate Court rejected the case and considered the evidence insufficient to sentence the practitioners, so the court sent the case back to Taocheng District Police Department. The deputy director general of the police department Sun Jiancai unlawfully extended the two practitioners' sentences by eleven months. After the extended term was up, the policemen still refused to release the practitioners and continued to detain them at Hengshui City Detention Center.
Mr. Sun Liangsheng, a 40-year-old university graduate, is a former excellent teacher from Hengshui City No. 2 High School. In order to resist the persecution, he escaped from Hengshui City Brainwashing Center in 2001 and became homeless to avoid arrest. In the New Year of 2004, Hengshui City 610 Office ordered the Hengshui City Police Department to arrest him. He is now being held at Hengshui City Detention Center.
Mr. Kang Yanxiang, a 39-year-old university graduate, is a former employee of Hengshui City Science Committee. In order to resist the persecution, he escaped from Hengshui City Brainwashing Center in 2001 and became homeless to avoid arrest. In the New Year of 2004, Hengshui City 610 Office ordered the Hengshui City Police Department to arrest him. He is now being held at Hengshui City Detention Center.

3. [Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province] Zhang Dexiang Sentenced to 10 Years in Prison
Practitioner Ms. Zhang Dexiang of Qiqihar City was sentenced to 10 years of imprisonment by Longsha District People's Court in Qiqihar City. On October 30, 2004, she was sent to the "Group Training Team" in Heilongjiang Women's Prison.

4. [Daxing'anling Area, Heilongjiang Province] Wang Yunfeng, Liu Hong, Li Peiqin Detained in the Forced Labor Camp for Clarifying the Truth About Falun Gong
Since September, the National Protection Section and Politics and Security Section of Jiagedaqi Police Department in Daxing'anling Area, Heilongjiang Province have been raiding Falun Gong practitioners' homes.
Ms. Wang Yunfeng began to practice Falun Gong in 1996. After the persecution of Falun Gong started on July 20, 1999, her husband's workplace pressured him, and this led to their divorce. After the divorce, she had no financial support, so she worked as a cleaning lady. In October 2004, she was arrested for clarifying the truth about Falun Gong and was sentenced to one year of forced labor.
Ms. Liu Hong, 33 years old, began to practice Falun Gong in 1998. On October 30, she went out to distribute truth-clarification materials. She was arrested by officers from Hongqi Police Station and detained for 20 days at Jiagedaqi Detention Center. Then, she was sentenced to one year of forced labor. Her husband, a security guard, was implicated and fired. Their 3-year-old child now longs for his mom.
Ms. Li Peiqin, over 50 years old, is a retired cadre of the Tax Department. She used to suffer renal failure and was critically ill. Fortunately, after she started practicing Falun Dafa in 1996, her illnesses disappeared without any treatment. From then on, Li Peiqin worked very hard and was highly praised by her colleagues. On November 21, Li Peiqin was arrested by the Jiagedaqi Police Department for clarifying the truth and detained at Jiagedaqi Detention Center. Her husband and a 4-year-old grandson are without care.

5. [Yanji City, Jilin Province] Piao Shilian, Liu Chunli, Song Guoru Arrested for Clarifying the Truth
Ms. Piao Shilian of Yanji City, Jilin Province was arrested by Yanji City 610 Office personnel around November 1, 2004, and was detained for more than a month. She is currently detained at Yanji Detention Center. It is said that she wrote a petition to the Procuratorate a few months ago accusing the Yanji City 610 Office of stopping the payment of her and her husband's wages without due cause.
On November 25, 2004, Liu Chunli of Yanji City, Jilin Province talked to a plainclothes police about the persecution of Falun Gong. After Liu gave the police officer a truth-clarification flyer, Liu was arrested and taken to Yanji City National Protection Section.
At noon on December 1, 2004, Ms. Song Guoru of Yanji City, Jilin Province was arrested for distributing truth-clarification material.
6. [Mianyang City, Sichuan Province] Tang Shuqing, Chen Haidong, Zhou Hongyun Sentenced to One Year of Forced Labor
Recently, Mianyang City practitioners Ms. Tang Shuqing, Chen Haidong and Zhou Hongyu were sentenced to one year of forced labor. Tang Shuqing was taken to Nanmusi Women's Forced Labor Camp.
7. [Xilinhaote, Inner Mongolia] Shi Yujie and Mother Abducted and Sent to a Brainwashing Center
In order to trap and arrest Ms. Shi Yujie, who has been homeless to avoid the persecution, the police released her mother from Shuaijiaying Women's Forced Labor Camp ahead of schedule. On October 24, 2004, when Shi Yujie went home to visit her mother, she was arrested by officials from the National Protection Section of Xilinhaote City, Inner Mongolia and the 610 Office. Shi Yujie and her mother have been sent to a brainwashing center.
8. [Wanquan County, Hebei Province] Li Jun Secretly Sentenced to 11 Years
On November 28, 2003, the authorities of Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province tried to put Mr. Li Jun and three Dafa practitioners from Wanquan County on trial, but their efforts were in vain. The practitioners' family members have requested many times to visit the practitioners. Finally, on April 24, 2004, their requests were approved, but the practitioners were no longer there.
Li Wusheng of Zhangjiakou Court claimed that the practitioners had been sent to Tangshan. The family members went through a lot of trouble and finally found out that Li Jun was notified of the secret sentence of 11 years at 5 p.m. on April 15, 2004. He was sent to Tangshan Prison on April 16, 2004, and then transferred to Hebei Province No. 1 Prison (Baoding Prison). His family members tried to visit him many times, but Baoding Prison sent them away using all kinds of excuses. Three months later, Li Jun was able to see his 70-year-old father, 10-year-old daughter, wife and elder sister.
Afterwards, when the family members visited again, Baoding Prison stalled by asking for their identification, then the certificate from the 610 Office, then the reception certificate. They appeared to be following procedures, but the reception certificate was never given to the detained Dafa practitioners or their relatives. The relatives were only allowed to see Yang Lei, the chief of Baoding Prison Political Section. Others could not intervene with this matter.
9. [Chongqing City] Xiao Sisters Sentenced to 3 Years of Forced Labor for Clarifying the Truth About Falun Gong
On March 9, 2004, Ms. Xiao Yixiu and her sister Ms. Xiao Yizhen from Jiangbei District, Chongqing City visited their relatives in Wusheng County, and clarified the truth about Falun Gong to the local people. Subsequently, they were arrested by the police. Because they continued to clarify the truth to people in the detention center, they were sentenced to three years of forced labor. They are now being held at Wusheng County Detention Center in Sichuan Province.
10. [Jintan City, Jiangsu Province] Shen Xiaoqin and Ding Meifeng Sentenced to Seven Years of Forced Labor
In early 2004, Shen Xiaoqin and Ding Meifeng from Jintan City were sentenced to seven years of forced labor. Xue Yuying and Lu Heying were sentenced to two and a half years of forced labor.

On December 1, 2004, policemen from the Railway Police Station arrested Tong Jingzhi from Jianping County while he was distributing Falun Gong truth-clarification material near the railway.
12. [Xinjiang] Hu Dingyuan Sentenced to Two Years of Forced Labor for Distributing Falun Gong VCDs
On September 28, 2004, national security officers searched the home of Hu Dingyuan from Xinjiang and detained him for 30 days for distributing Falun Gong truth-clarification VCDs. Later, he was sentenced to two years of forced labor.
During his detention, his family members were not allowed visit. After he was sent to the forced labor camp, his family visited again, but the forced labor camp officials refused let them visit with the excuse that he had been there for less than one month. However, even after a month passed, his family was still not allowed to see him.
13. [Xinjiang] Yu Yuanji and Chen Yuanli Sentenced for Clarifying the Truth
The Tianshan District Procuratorate and court in Urumuqi City, Xinjiang put practitioners Mr. Yu Yuanji and Ms. Chen Yuanli on trial.
Mr. Yu Yuanji is 64 years old. He was arrested on February 25, 2004 for clarifying the truth about Falun Gong and sentenced to 7 years in prison in October 2004.
Ms. Chen Yuanli is 70 years old. She was arrested on February 27, 2004 for clarifying the truth about Falun Gong. After a long period of detention, she became emaciated and weak, but she is still being held and was sentenced to four years of forced labor.

14. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Li Shoudong Detained for Clarifying the Truth About Falun Gong
Falun Gong practitioner Li Shoudong from Weifang City, Shandong Province was arrested for clarifying the truth about Falun Gong and detained at Kuiwen District Detention Center for about a month. Then in November 2004, Li Baolong, the person in charge of Henglian Security Office, took Li Shoudong to Changle Forced Labor Camp for three years of forced labor.
It is said that the fellow practitioners who were arrested together with Li Shoudong include Tan Jianping, Zhu Yuehua, Ms. Wang and others. They are also being detained in the forced labor camp.
15. [Chongqing City] Tian Yicheng Suffers Brutal Torture
On August 28, 2004, practitioner Tian Yicheng was sent to Yongchuan Prison in Chongqing. Tian has been isolated and persecuted day and night. The methods of torture include sleep deprivation, beating, and repeated brainwashing.
16. [Anshan City, Liaoning Province] Wang and Shi Wei Detained
Husband and wife Wang and Shi Wei were arrested, and their material production site suffered losses. Wang is now being held at Anshan City No. 1 Detention Center, and Shi Wei is being held at Anshan City No. 3 Detention Center.

17. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Li Guoyou Arrested While Visiting Wanjia Forced Labor Camp
At noon on October 6, 2004, Mr. Li Guoyou, a young teacher from Architecture Institute of Harbin Industry University, visited an elderly female practitioner at Wanjia Forced Labor Camp. He was arrested by the guards, and then sentenced to two years of forced labor. Li Guoyou wrote a letter to the relevant authorities and asked them to reconsider the decision. He declared that it was unlawful for them to search his body, detain and interrogate him, search his home and sentence him. He requested that the authorities reverse the decision to send him to the forced labor camp, unconditionally release him, and requested all relevant parties of Wanjia Forced Labor Camp to give him a public apology.
Li Guoyou was born in the countryside. He had excellent conduct and grades since he was a boy. He qualified for university and then became a teacher. Soon after he became a Falun Gong practitioner, his arthritis and insomnia disappeared. He performed his work according to the principle of "Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance." The students who work under his guidance won awards several times in the national competition of university students. He also worked together with others to write an article, which was published in an international architecture publication and won an award.
After the persecution of Falun Gong started, Li Guoyou went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong. He was arrested and interrogated by the police. The police covered his head with a plastic bag and poured cold water on him. They nearly suffocated him. The police also stuffed dirty rags into his mouth and filled his nose with water.
In Tuanhe Forced Labor Camp in Beijing, Li Guoyou witnessed that Falun Gong practitioner Liu Yongping was deprived of sleep for 18 days until his hair turned white and his legs and feet became swollen and had hypomnesia. Liu Xiao, a lecturer from Beijing Xiehe Medical University, was tortured to the point of mental collapse. He lost control of his bowels and bladder, and was unable to speak. Professor Li Xutang from People's University was locked up in a small utility room with the hot water system in the hot summer. He fainted from the suffocating heat. Li Guoyou is currently detained at the detention center of Daoli Police Department in Harbin City.
18. [Daqing, Heilongjiang Province] Wang Guiyan and Zhang Yanping Arrested for Publishing Facts About the Persecution on Clearwisdom Net
Ms. Wang Guiyan and Ms. Zhang Yanping from Sartu District, Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province published articles about the persecution they suffered on Clearwisdom Net around November 20. Sui Jiwen and other policemen from Sartu District Police Department Politics and Security Section arrested these two practitioners at their workplaces, Sartu Civil Administration Bureau Welfare Home and Sartu Elderly Cadre Bureau, and then sent them to Daqing City Detention Center at 11 p.m. on December 2.
