What Should We Do When We Are Not Able to Comprehend Some Parts of the Fa Principles?

Several fellow practitioners recently had a discussion about what to do when we did not understand some words of Teacher's Fa. Could we ask fellow practitioners who did very well in cultivation practice to help understand it? Personally I think it is not an advisable way, since Teacher told us long ago in "Learning the Fa" (Essentials for Further Advancement):

"The only way to gain a good understanding of Dafa is to study it without any intention. Each time you finish reading Zhuan Falun, you have made progress as long as you have gained some understanding. Even if you understood only one point after reading it, you have truly made progress. Actually, in cultivation practice you ascend by improving yourself gradually and unknowingly. Keep in mind: One should gain things naturally without pursuing them."

Teacher also said in "Definitive Conclusion" (Essentials for Further Advancement):

"The desire to show off plus the attachment of zealotry are most easily exploited by the demonic part of your mind. Whatever you have enlightened to in Dafa is no more than a tiny portion of the Fa's principles at a certain level within the boundless Fa's principles. You must never define the Fa or a part of it--not even a sentence of it. If you do that in public, the moment you utter it you will have produced sinful karma. In serious cases, the sin can be as big as a mountain or the sky--how could you then cultivate yourself? If one alters Dafa and creates another system, his sin will be so great that it is boundless."

In "Fa-Lecture at the Conference in Florida, U.S.A." Teacher reminded us,

"You all know what state of mind a person must be in to see the Fa's principles. You know it without my having to say much. When your eyes read the Fa and yet your mind isn't on the Fa, think about it, aren't you reading in vain?"

Teacher also said,

"So, no matter how busy you get, when you study the Fa you have to set aside all other thoughts--don't think about other things at all, just study the Fa. Maybe as you study the Fa the issues you've been thinking about will be resolved, since behind every word are Buddhas, Daos, and Gods. How could they not know exactly what you want to resolve and what you're anxious to get done at that time? Then how could they not tell you? But there's one thing: you must achieve the state of studying the Fa without any pursuit. You understood this a long time ago--you can't read the Fa with an attachment to solving your problems. Just read calmly, and the effect is sure to be excellent. So when you study the Fa, don't just go through the motions. You have to calm your mind when you read it, and truly study it. Don't let your mind sneak away from you. Once your mind wanders off, you'll be studying in vain." (from Fa-Lecture at the Conference in Florida, U.S.A.)

Why would some practitioners get help from other practitioners in understanding the Fa? It reveals one's possible attachments and omissions:

First, you did not study the Fa whole-heartedly or studied the Fa less.

Second, your main consciousness is not strong enough. As a result, you may follow whatever others say.

Third, you want to find a short cut.

Fourth, you bring to serious Fa study ordinary people's hierarchical concepts that others learn the Fa better than yourself and therefore are superior to you.

We should be very pure in mind when we are learning the Fa. At the group Fa study site, when a fellow practitioner is reading the Fa, we can tell whether he is learning the Fa free from attachments. Some practitioners read very fast, some read as if they are reading a textbook, some read with missing or additional or mispronounced words. In those cases, they are reading with human attachments and therefore the energy field they carry is not good enough. To some extent, they affect other practitioners. On the other hand, when they are reading with their hearts, other people are able to listen and read with their hearts as well. And the Buddhas, Daos, and Gods behind each word will naturally tell them the Fa principles that they should know at their levels.
