Taking Advantage of Children's Mentality of Looking Up to Their Teachers, Jiang's Regime Orders Schools to Instill Hatred Towards Falun Gong in Students

For people who were once students, they may still remember the mentality they had while young. Students tend to admire or even idolize their teachers, but at the same time they are rebellious towards their parents. Therefore, what teachers impart to students can often influence young students.

After Jiang's regime started to persecute Falun Gong, former Minister of Education, Ms. Chen Zhili, tried her best to please Jiang and help with the persecution. In addition to poisoning teachers with lies, she also utilized various means to have teachers instill hatred to students. In the process, the respect given to their teachers by students is used by Chen Zhili and her gang to achieve their goal.

An internet website named "The Chinese Communist Party History Online" published an article in November 2003. This article was written by Gu Mingde, deputy team leader of "Care for Our Next Generation Team" in Caojiadu Street Committee in Jing'an District, Shanghai. In the article, he explained how he cared about the next generation, "I motivated nearly one thousand students to participate in editing a cartoon entitled 'Youth Should Strive to Become Leaders in Exposing and Attacking Falun Gong'. The schools and teachers cooperated with each other. We had exhibited the cartoon on a tour through various street committees. One TV station even came to interview us. The campaign has received very good results."

"Collection of Beida Elementary School Teachers' Papers" contains an article entitled "On the Principles of Carrying Out Our Class Activities." The author Yu Tao talked about how to have students keep up with the development of the era. He pointed out that after the persecution of Falun Gong began, "some class advisors grabbed the opportunity and organized students to make newspapers to expose Falun Gong and has achieved very good results."

The above two examples are but a few of numerous such examples aimed at defaming Falun Gong and poisoning our young children. If the reader uses the keywords "school," "expose" and "Falun Gong" to search on the Chinese language version of google.com, 16,000 links appear, most of which are reports on how to spread hatred towards Falun Gong in schools.

As a matter of fact, the Ministry of Education led by Chen Zhili has long been carrying out a systematic and comprehensive campaign of instilling hatred towards Falun Gong to students in schools.

The Youth League affiliated with the Ministry of Education issued an announcement on February 1, 2001. This announcement was about carrying out a campaign to "Oppose the evil cult in schools." The announcement gave the following orders:

- Schools should hold various seminars and lectures to educate students how to oppose the evil cult.

- Schools should organize various student organizations to carry out various activities to - oppose the evil cult.

- Schools should arrange different people to lecture on opposing the evil cult.

- Schools may have each student write a letter to their family members or relatives who are Falun Gong practitioners, asking them to give up their belief.

- Schools should lay out detailed plans on how to carry out the campaign of opposing the evil cult, and make sure the plans get implemented and monitored.

As a result of the campaign in schools, many student or teacher practitioners are expelled from school, detained or even sentenced to prison terms. Another result of the campaign is that a huge number of students are deceived to harbor hatred towards Falun Gong.

In late July this year, my relatives, a family of three, came to the U.S. to visit. The son in this family is 14 years old and is a senior in middle school. I displayed some truth-clarification CD to them. The father said he had seen similar programs while in China. The mother seemed shocked as it was probably her first time to see such program.

The son seemed to have difficulty accepting the truth as what he learned from school is quite different from what I showed him.

Many students are still minors and they tend to believe in what their school teachers tell them. As students, such belief is normally a good thing. However, when Jiang and Chen Zhili take advantage of such belief, a tragedy can result. Jiang and Chen are not only spreading lies, they are also poisoning students.
